  1. Not a potential mom here but though I'd shre few tips As @Natasha mentioned, your nutrition during this period is absolutely essential. Specific focus should be put on receiving enough calcium, iron, folate, zinc, B12, Omega 3 Fatty acids (both ALA and DHA) and magnesium. Cronometer.com is a nice way to track for free. There are some supplements specifically for pregnancies but the food always comes first. Eating regularly in around 700kcal excess every day should be sufficient. Focus on nutrient dense whole foods and mostly organic fruits/veggies and meats Be careful with your exposure to radiation, heavy metals, plastic and foods containing high amounts of growth hormones, pesticides and preservatives. Don't go too heavy on coffee, although this one is a bit debatable. Absolutely no alcohol, smoking and recreational drugs. Sufficient sleep, at least 8 hours per day, possibly even more. Excercise daily but mostly with your own bodyweight, do a lot of walking and yogic stretching
  2. Consider reading " so good they can't ignore you"
  3. I have experience with beta-glucan rich mushroom complex supplements but these are extracted from the bodies not the tiny mycelia. They worked miracles on my allergies. Why do you take them?
  4. When Pipin and Merry disturbed the peaceful lake outside of Moria, the pendulum swang the opposite way and the entire fellowship got nearly decimated by the monster who did not particularly like that. When you challenge status quo, the response is usually rapid, aggressive and very negative. This is to be expected
  5. They expect kids who are 10 to care about subjects such as chemistry, physics and mathematics. Of course the kids will rebel, nobody gives a shit about calculus , periodic table and calculating the amount of mechanical work needed to life a box up 1 meter high at that age. Kids still like to play, explore, they need to interact with the world and with eachother, learn the skills of communication, learn athletics, learn about proper nutrition and how to take care of their young growing bodies , they need to go out in nature, learn about plants, learn skills of survival outdoors, learn about animals and they need to start learning about sexuality so that they don't get messed up by porn in their teens. The entire system is riddiculous. They make no difference between the origins of the student, their beliefs, their past knowledge, their interest and talents. And when they put same uniforms on all students, that's the end of individuality and unique values of each student. To be the best, you need to be the best conformist and learn their mechanical phrases and their thinking. You do that, they will praise you and if you do that for 50 years they will praise you more, give you an award, make you a professor so you can be an educated fool. Even at this stage if you challenge their beliefs, you will be dismissed, stripped of your titles, riddiculed and basically back to ground zero.
  6. This could be Zinc deficiency. There are Zinc tests available, it's a liquid that you leave in your mouth and depending on how it tastes you can assess your Zinc status. Can also be Iodine toxicity. Could also be mercury, it does mess up with central nervous system a lot. Do you have a lot of fillings in your mouth or a past history of excessive exposure such as excessive vaccination or excessive consumption of the large fish? (tuna, shark, swordfish...) .......has your mother had an excessive exposure before you were born?
  7. You may simply have a bacterial infection in your gums. Do they bleed when you brush or floss? It is also possible the dental hygiene is either insufficient or excessive.
  8. thanks mate glad someone finds it helpful. To me it feels like I always get opportunity to refresh stuff from college haha Love reading your comments as well...you have an excelent broad perspective and seem to see things from many different angles instead of sticking to one opinion. One of the reasons why I come to this forum is the abundance of high quality comments that you don't see anywhere else really.
  9. If you are interested I would suggest you study a little bit more about the HP Axis. This is the Hypothalamus - Pituitary connection that is in charge of your entire endocrine (hormonal) system. These two govern your entire glandular system: Thyroid Parathyroid Pineal Gland Thymus (only works in early part of life) Adrenal Glands Pancreas Ovaries/Testes Breasts and mammary glands (women) The hormones such as testosterone and adrenaline are just end products of this massive interconnection of pre-hormones and releasing factors so learning about the hypothalamus and anterior/posterior pituitary and its connection to all other glands and hormones could give you a large systemic overview rather than picking individual hormones. This is because body does not work in segments but eveything is interconnected
  10. or just a bunch of nonsense who can tell anymore
  11. I do. At least at the moment. Many of my beliefs and opinions change with time and with more knowledge. That being said I do not follow this perfectly
  12. Cal Newport in his books mentioned something called "small bets". People going out and testing different passions they had and see what sticks. You may have 10 passions but if people are eventually not willing to pay for 9 of them, you will have to go for the one that can be monetised. I am not trying to say that you need to spend your life chasing money, absolutely not. But your life purpose needs to be something that can pay your bills and afford you decent living. So take one of your passions and think about a way you could test it in the outer world. For example a cooking ebook if you like cooking or starting an amateur website offering free photoshoots if you like photography..and so on. You get the idea. This way you will know what has potential and what should just remain a hobby.
  13. yop, chromium helps regulate blood sugar levels, its usually very depleted in diabetics. Great note !
  14. Agreed that you don't have to run and do something about it. That's how one becomes addicted to wank. You can say that you'll just go and enjoy it but if you stop doing that altogether in your own way or with a help of partner, I think it will get to you at some point. And I guess there are people who can kinda channel this energy through their spine and experience full body orgasm instead, like David Deida said but for majority of us, the occasional relief is kinda what keeps us sane. But I am very open to being wrong as there is a long way for me to walk before getting to that level of awareness
  15. Without a true purpose you will be a ship without captain easy to sway in whichever direction the wind blows. Being in your 15 and already knowing about LP is a great great benefit. You absolutely don't have to buy the course but if you feel lost and have no idea where to go and what to do it can make the start of your journey easier. I bough it 2 years ago and would do it again anytime, never regretted a single pound spent
  16. Even the most awakened will not escape from his basic biological urges
  17. Pure cocoa is a nature's superfood that cannot be challenged by too many. The list of benefits for humans is super long. But to maximise them a 100% dark from organic (and ideally sustainable, non exploitative) source eaten in limited amounts (up to 30g) every day . Here is a few benefits of mostly 100% dark but to an extend the lesser ones (not dairy because dairy and sugar destroy many of these benefits) Extremely rich in fibre Helpful in combating systemic inflammation because it inhibits something called NfKB signalling pathway, which is behind a lot of chronic stubborn inflammation. Most known fruits have this same effect. Cocoa contains incredibly potent antioxidant cocktail, in fact its antioxidant count per 100g one of the highest on ORAC score. This helps: protect neurons from oxidative damage potentially slowing onset of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's protect blood vessels from oxidation damage, a suspected cause of atherosclerosis. Eating high quality dark chocolate DRAMATICALLY reduced cardiovascular mortality in research. helpful for erectile dysfunction because it creates a lot of nitric oxide Helpful for people suffering from signs of Metabolic Syndrome as it is helpful in raising insulin sensitivity, reducing cholesterol and blood pressure. In obese people sugar free dark chocolate was found to normalise some neurotransmitters which induce excessive hunger such as CCK, GLP-1 and leptin. Powerful booster of immunity and balance of cytokines and histamine Lot of research is being done on cancer and some of it compounds (shown below) have been shown even on humans to reduce growth of tumours and chance of getting cancer in first place. contains Quercitin, natural antioxidant, anticancer agent and useful compound in prevention of allergic reactions contains Luteolin, a carotene in the eye protective from retina degeneration and cataracts contains Naringenin, very protective for diabetics from neuronal damage (but sugar in most chocolates is harmful for them so only 100% dark recommended) Contains Proanthocyanins and Anthocyanins, that are also found in most berries and very cardioprotective and cancer protective contains Epicatechins that are protective for liver, heart, blood vessels and brain. contains reasonable amount of caffeine which can be good to boost productivity but not to give the nasty energy crash. And much much more !!!
  18. Just download bunch of the swapping apps and add in few good pictures. These days getting a shag is actually really easy. Just make sure this does not keep you from deeper growth in life. Perhaps you need to bang 100 girls before you are ready to move on so these apps could be a decent way to get that.
  19. You can't transcend sexual desire and attraction for opposite sex. By doing this you will repress one of the two primal drivers of human being. The need to eat and the need to produce offspring....everything else falls apart if these two are not in place. You try to repress the first, you die. You try to repress the second, you will become the most repulsive, horny, hypocritical person that nobody will want to be around. Women will feel your desire and your horniness whenever you look at them. Unless you cut your testicles of and remove your adrenal glands to stop production of testosterone, there is no avoiding this. What you can however do is to channel that energy towards a fulfilling and productive relationship that will drive your life purpose and fulfillment in life. Find a life partner that will not just be your crush and fuck buddy but a high quality woman who will challenge you, enrich your life with her powerful feminine energy, keep you excited, entertained, responsible and on line with your purpose. If you share your sexual energy with her, it will enrich both of your lifes beyond what a nightstand with the hottest girl you can conjure can. If you fail to do this and shy away from every attractive girl because of your "need to transcend sexual energy" it will start ageing you and probably make you chronically ill and depressed.
  20. Chinese Taoists believed that ejaculation in masturbation depletes the body's vibrance and vital energy. They say that the older the man becomes the less frequently he should ejaculate. If you are in your teens or 20s you will not be as impacted but should probably limit it to around 1-2 per week. In your 30s it is 1 per week. In your 40s it is 3 times a months, in your 50s twice a month and later should probably be once. Interestingly they say that a woman should have as many orgasms as possible as for her it is envigorating. There seems to be difference when a man ejaculates with a woman and when he does so during masturbation as sex involves larger brain involvement, glandular response, rapid rise of testosterone and oxytocin which is followed by rapid release of endorphins. The same physiological responses are only mild in masturbation. So if you are going to "lose it" it is probably better for it to be less frequently but during a high quality intercourse with another human being
  21. This is interesting combination. I've heard about a guy in Japan (Dr Omura) who claims that the combination of coriander and other chlorophyl rich food such as Wheatgrass is more effective then either of them alone. He says that coriander pulls the heavy metals out of central nervous system but is not "strong" enough to keep the attachment all the way to elimination system so there is a need of other compound such as Chlorella or Wheatgrass/ Barley Grass that finishes the job. Generally chlorophyl rich foods contain something called "poryphirin ring" which contains magnesium in its centre and has the ability to "switch" the magnesium for other metallic ion and "pull" it out in the digestive system and out. But to what extend this happens and to what sorts of metal ions I have no idea. The entire heavy metal detox topic is shrouded with a lot of controversy and contradiction.
  22. @Charlotte Hey Charlotte, welcome back. Delighted to see good stuff going your way. I found this being one of the core things keeping me in hard Green and it took a lot of time and effort to get outside of it and start to see the ideology and manipulation in vegan population. The amount of guilt they put you in is incredible sometimes. Well done on getting out of that, defo not an easy task !! I think one can still remain plant based without subscribing to the "religion" and the guilt. Also happy that you got some new tips with CNM, the 9/d cruciferous veg seems like pretty hardcore healing diet going forward but they are incredible. (Make sure to always pre-chop them and chew well to activate the enzymatic reaction and get the most of them ) And finally congrats on finishing your college course. Hope this opens some new doors and opportunities and definitely new insight into the reality. All the best and keep up the amazing work !!
  23. Perhaps you first need to achieve a great success to truly realise the shallow fulfilment of success.
  24. @Solace thank you. Your comment has been very eye-opening. I feel like I am not able to embody the wisdom you shared just yet without putting more work into consciousness work which I put aside often due to focusing too much on my life purpose. Nevertheless I am saving many of the amazing responses I've got here to return to again. @Curiousobserver thanks, that makes a lot of sense.
  25. Thank you folks, amazing comments from all of you, I've got much to contemplate on tonight
