By realising that caring what people think is a 100% losing battle no matter how much you try...eventually they'll find something that they can judge you for. In the end everybody cares about themselves and their own problems and everybody is concerned more of what you think about them then what they think about you. The next time you feel judged, look that person in the eyes and do not let go until they look elswhere. Most of the time, they won't be able to bear the pressure.

I have a lifelong video game addiction that I've never completely recovered from. I also prefer talking only to girls who are pretty even if they are dumb as a shoe.

Whole legumes will always be superior to legume juice as you will be losing fibre and all the phytonutrients and most minerals but legume juice is superior to cheap fruit juice that's for sure. Just out of curiosity, which legumes do they use? Is it sprouted? Isn't it kinda gross?

Adriene Mishler has a channel called yogawithadrienne. Look up her "yoga for beginners" video and see if you like her style. She is wonderful yoga teacher and her sets are easy to follow. If you like her, I'd do one of her 30 day yoga challenges to get used to different exercises. Once you finish a 30 day challenge, you're well set to continue practicing on your own time.

Any exercise done in the morning is beneficial. Dilates your blood vessels, moves the lymph, wakes you up and starts the metabolism. If you can do 50 pushups every morning in 1 years this will drive your fitness gains to a completely new level. I personally wouldn't bother with crunches, leave that for later but rather something that works the heart more such as high-knees or jumping jacks for 60 seconds. Squads are awesome to drive blood into your biggest muscle group.

Taking one's shoes off and hugging a tree for half an hour can be powerful remedy for acute distress and anxiety. Being in nature also allows for an energetic rebelancing. Nature being full of positively charged ions will balance the excess of negative ions produced inside of our bodies by basic metabolic processes and free radical damage. As such spending time in nature on daily basis with as little clothes as (legally and humanely) possible is a good way to maintain good energetic balance / chi circulation / flow of lifeforce...its all the same

few interesting things * Elderberries are poisonous in raw states, once you cook them they turn into immunity boosting superfood * Cordyceps is an invasive fungi that grows over a tree caterpillar, kills it, and grows out of its head. To this day, it is considered one of the most powerful remedy for infertility in Chinese Medicine * Lion's Mane (medicinal mushroom) is one of few plants with the ability to induce neuro-regeneration. Although the evidence for this is limited. * Asparagus makes some people's urine stinky. The funny thing is that some people have this and some don't. Also some people have it but can't smell it while others have it and can smell it. And finally some don't get it but can still smell it while other don't get it and can't smell it either. * Goosberries have the highest natural content of antioxidants from all known foods, aprox 20 times the amount of bluberries. * When preparing mushrooms, chop them and expose to sunshine. They can catch a lot of Uv B and produce decent amounts of Vitamin D2, less potent then D3 in animal foods but still better than none * Grapefruit blocks an enzyme called CYP3A4. This enzyme is responsible for hepatic metabolism of many pharmaceuticals. Those on heavy medications unfortunatelly need to avoid grapefruits as there is risk of massive overdosing during slowed excretion....or find a way to get off them * Soy and Flaxseeds are phytoestrogens. They dock into oestrogen receptors however their effects is 100s of time weaker than 17-B-Estradiol the prime female sexual hormone. This effects may reduce the chance of having oestrogen-linked cancers such as breast or uterine cancer.

The hierarchy of ATP production from endogenous sources is as following: blood sugar -> glycogen stores -> fat stores -> protein stores. Your body will not break down muscle unless it absolutely has to. That being said, if your diet is low on Essential Amino Acids, you will start breaking down your lean tissue because these cannot be created. This will not mean muscle but you may be breaking other tissues depending on the concentration of the amino acid you need. This can happen in any state not just in fasted though. A typical undereating diet, anorexia or eating disorder will eventually lead to this. ALso if your body's capabilities to transaminate (change one amino acid to another) are poor or you are low on cofactors that allow this (B6, Magnesium, zinc...) then you may start breaking down lean tissue again. But for a healthy well fed individual, fasted cardio will not do any of this. Loss of muscle is often related to lack of stress or reduced exercise intensity or a disease state. Ageing is another one where that can happen.

@Moreira it should be but the lobby of coca cola and other toxic garbage is probably too strong for that to happen

I was talking to two of my buddies the other day and they started teasing me about meditation as we got to that topic somehow. They are both extremely hard orange guys so I found it really hard to explain it. But it made me realise that I could not properly put it in word for my own benefit either. I was tempted to say "to realise god" but at my current level of consciousness I still don't know what that really means so maybe "to raise my consciousness" would be a better response but that is hard to define by words. So I ended up giving an Orange explanation of "helps reduce cortisol, soothe the nervous system and helps sleep" which seemed a satisfying response but I know that is just the top of the iceberg. Thinking about this conversation later on, I realised I can't even pinpoint why I meditate in the first place by my own words Is it that it's not meant to be explained same as you cannot really explain what consciousness is but has to be experienced? What would be your explanation (to yourself and to an Orange person) of why you meditate in the first place?

@Mezanti 1000-1200 kcal is an extreme starvation diet. It's your health bud just be careful.

You are most likely eating under your caloric requirement....ofcourse you lose weight, coke has nothing to do with it. This type of diet will slow down your metabolic rate gradually, once you get to your dream weight and start eating normally, the weight will start coming back. The diet coke is messing up with your blood sugar balance and aspartame with your neurotransmitters. EDIT: not hating just think you are rather trying to "cheat" the weightloss with get quick results type of diet.

I would definitelly check with the Spanish uni any scholarships they offer or packages for international students. You should follow your dreams but if it means possibly indebting your entire family, that needs to be thought through extremely well. I don't know anything about architecture but perhaps there are other ways for you to get into it? Have you considered other countries and other universities? For example universities in eastern (poland, ukraine) middle (slovakia, czech republic, hungary, Austria) and some other southern (romania, bulgaria, macedonia, albania, croatia...) Europe would definitely be cheaper and these countries are not bad for living either. They are also beautiful countries full of wonderful nature and mostly nice people. There may be courses you could start doing, seminars and communities you could join in US as well. Maybe you don't need a full university degree but a night college or weekend school could also be an option. These often offer instalment payments such as 200 per month or so. I'd just say make sure you explore other possibilities besides the most obvious ones. You can browse forum and youtube videos, I bet people talk about these things in any industry.

you can read A LOT from people's face: lack of sleep, stress, anxieties, tensions, overal health and organ health, recent traumas, chronic inflammation, anger issues, alcohol abuse, tendency to lie, negative thinking -
I've had something similar during my recent panic/anxiety attack session. Excess emotional baggage came up on surface and shit hit the fan at the snap of the fingers. Drop everything on weekend, hit your nearest nature reserve and take it all in for 12 hours. The mind needs a reset. + (materialist advice) take good care of your nutrition, could be lack of calming neurotransmitters and excess cortisol production. Good fats and good sources of protein ++ Australian Bush Flower Essence have a remedy called "Calm & Clear" sold in most Neal's Yard places , might help

In chinese medicine, chakras would be areas of high energy expenditure. In modern medicine, these would be your hormone-producing glands. In such sense there is no difference between system of chakras and the endocrine system. Such as the Crown Chakra being your pituitary and hypothalamus, Throat Chakra being thyroid + parathyroid + (possibly) thymus before it shrinks, Solar Chakra being pancreas and Root Chakra being testicles or ovaries. There are various interpretations of different systems in the body between eastern and weste3rn medicine, of the life force/vital force / chi / prana and you'll find different "maps of organs and energetic circuts. But when we start saying that you "breathe with your balls" we are entering the fairytale land of flying carpets and bretharianism. The only thing that breathes is your diaphragm (doing 90% of the work) and your upper respiratory muscles in neck and upper chest. Lungs are just empty sacks with some fluid being pulled up and down. You may put more awareness into different areas of the body which relaxes a lot of subconcious muscular tension (energy stagnation/chi stagnation..whatever) but you don't spontaneously grown tiny pair of lungs in your balls. yep its called your testicles producing testosterone that makes you sexually active horny animal

Just assume that everybody you meet on the street is constantly lying. We are all delusional, scheming snakes. Some more genuine about it than others...

The more you try to resist the emotion the stronger it gets and the more it will drive you insane. Identify the emotion. What is it? Jealous? Anger? Fear of loneliness? Fear of not finding a partner? Once you do, sit with it an open yourself up to the emotion. Feel it with every inch of your body as it flows through like an invisible snake. Do this until you become comfortable with the emotion. Once your body has had time to process it and identified it as not harmful but in a sense beautiful, it will naturally subside. If you resist it, it will torment you forever.

The evidence shows that unless you are coeliac wheat is not an issue. That would be a case of true allergies. Many people are intolerant but intolerance itself is not a disease but rather a digestive insufficiency. So if you are not coeliac but find yourself getting rashes and anxieties when eating wheat you have some gut repair to do. The other thing is that wheat is a food devoid of most minerals and vitamins, in UK they have to add thiamin niacin anc iron back into it. It is pure empty calories and wholegrains are always better option.
