Carbohydrates have been the essential part of human diet for thousands of years. What you probably mean by "bad carbs" are things like sweets, white bread, white rice and white potatoes. I am going to agree that those are not beneficial for human consumption and they contribute to obesity and diabetes indeed. On the other hand, whole grain low GL sources of carbohydrates are beneficial and extremely health-promoting. They are associated with a reduction of cardiovascular incidence and obesity. These would be foods like legumes, sweet potatoes and wholegrain products that Berg bashes on as well. These contain oligosaccharides such as fibre that basically reduce overall risk of cancer, diebates and heart disease, the deadly triangle of 90% of human deaths in the world. Most people cannot tell the difference between different sources of carbohydrates so they label all of them as "bad" and stop eating them which is ridiculous since glucose is the only possible source of energy for the brain. Even ketones have to be changed to glucose before feeding cerebral cells. Saying that all carbs are bad shows ignorance and lack of systemic understanding (no offence directed to you personally) as this is based on something you were told by a person who does not know what they are talking about. A study? There are hundreds and hundreds of studies looking at the association between cholesterol levels and heart disease. You cannot quote "A study" you have to conduct a systematic overview of everything especially of the meta analyses that include hundreds of thousands of people. I doubt he has ever done that. This would be a task for a team of people which is why there is so much confusion about this topic. Carbohydrates do not cause high LDL in the body. high LDL levels are caused by arterial damage caused by free radicals, AGEs, white sugar (from bad carbs), alcohol, tobacco, toxins and stress. Wholegrain carbs are protective from this. High LDL fats like meat cause LDL particles to hang around the bloodsttream for up to 6 hours which increases the chance of them get turned into either glycated LDL (if colliding with sugar) or oxidised LDL (if colliding with superoxide or peroxynitrite) both extremely harmful. Chargrilled and fried animal products bring extremely high amount of free radicals in the body and these contribute to arterial damage. So no, it is not the LDL that is harmful per see but it is the bigger picture. Humans need to consume both carbs and fats but we should be picking the right sources rather than blindly follow experts who clearly have an agenda.

There is a difference between self-promotion and spreading misinformation. For example, Eric Berg frequently disputes the unhealthy effects of saturated fats. He frequently talks about how LDL cholesterol is a misleading marker of cardiovascular disease and he promotes beefs and meat as a healthy beneficial food. Global death statistics clearly show that things like LDL (regardless of particle size) and blood pressure are directly correlated with heart disease and that correlates with the most deaths in the world. There is a clear and indisputable evidence around this yet people like him think they are the mavericks when they challenge these ideas. A lot of people following Dr Berg will end up doing extremely unhealthy keto diets that include shitload of fried meats and fats with zero fibre, fruit and vegetable. I had a colleague who ate at Mcdonalds every day. He would remove the bread from burgers and eat 5-6 meats patties at a time. He was convincing everybody that his Keto is the best health diet. In time, other guys around the office got influenced and started doing the same. This is the DANGER of people like Berg. He may be promoting the "healthy" keto but most people cannot tell difference and have zero nutrition knowledge so they end up shortening their lifespans. As such, anyone promoting such diet is basically promoting lack of wellness, lack of health and early death. If a supplement or drug was found to do that it would be taken off the market

Eric Berg is a very orange guy in a green coat whose main concern is pretty much his own bank account. He has been called up by medical doctors and PHDs on youtube for spewing nonsense and pseudoscience. If you open his website, it resembles that of Josh Axe or Ben Greenfield with thousands of links, adds, supplements and self-promotion. I am surprised this guy has such a gigantic follow behind him. He sometimes adds studies but they are well-cherry picked. Also what @Tarzan said, the guy calls himself a doctor and deliberately misleads people making them think he is an actual MD or PHD. Most people don't read description so he is unlikely to be disputed. This is not new on youtube but it creates corruption and deliberate misinformation

Ashwagandha is pretty good. Lemon Balm as a tea, or dried extract has been researched a lot for anxiety and insomnia Siberian Ginseng if you also feel worn down Passiflora, Skull Cap and Magnolia are decent St John's Wort for more depressive anxiety. Has the most research behind it CBD mentioned above is also good Note that none of the herbs or oiils "heal" the anxiety, they merely work on different aspects of brain chemistry and it is necessary to get to the bottom of it possibly by working with experienced mental health therapist or CBT specialist. Also, caution if you are on benzies, antidepressants or any other medical drugs that induce sedation and reduce depression/anxiety, it is probably not a good idea to do herbs at that time as they may cause hypomania when taken together.

Only if their gut is messed up. When you have inflamed gut, that has permeable walls (leaky gut), overgrowth of bad bacteria colonising your small and large intestine, pathogenic overgrowth like candida and keep dumping sources of typical western inflammatory food like flour, white rice, meats and dairy, you WILL react to all those. Absolutely! But that does not mean they are bad. Oxalic acid is not a problem if your calcium intake is balanced and your microbiome healthy, read the second study you listed properly. The third study basically just summarises symptoms but it does not address why this is happening. The answer is that having a messed up gut makes you susceptible to tanins and lectins because antigens from these migrate through your bowel walls and trigger an immune reaction which is how you get all these inflammatory symptoms like hashimoto's , RA etc. So the answer is not to stop eating legumes and plants. The answer is to FIX YOUR GUT. I'm listening

It seems like you went into medicine for the wrong reason. Unless you have a deep conviction inside that this is what you want to do and that you are absolutely convinced that treating people using evidence-based medicine is the way for you, then medicine is not the right direction. I am saying this because the study is extremely tough. Medicine is probably one of the hardest industries. Also, from your writing I can see you would possibly fare better in the holistic area of healing such as naturopathy, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine etc. The medical schools are NOT designed to teach you about holistic medicine, you will, in fact, be discouraged to follow these protocols and the 100% focus is on using pharmaceuticals unless you go into emergency medicine (this is the most rewarding but also the most stressful are of medicine) or obstetrics (probably even there you'll be using lots of drugs). Psychiatric medicine is the same, but you already know about this. It uses cooki-cutter approach treating everything with manipulating brain chemistry. I think you are just too conscious already to be in western medicine and I can imagine you becoming a more green/yellow type of professional. Also bear in mind that having a medical degree does not allow you to call yourself "doctor" if you practice holistic medicine. At least not in UK where I live as this creates confusion. Additionally, in the US , Naturopathic Doctors are becoming popular and if I was in US this is what I would have gone for instead of naturopathic nutrition. So maybe see if you can figure out another way to get in States and you could potentially consider Naturopathic studies. There are several universities such as Bastyr University who are very popular for these sorts of programmes. Whatever you decide to do, make sure your heart, not just the brain agree otherwise it will be a great struggle for you. At the same time, if medicine seems like the right way to go despite everything else, you should go do that Only you know the answer

Stephen Covey's 7 Habits is kinda Orange-Green-Yellow but it is extremely practical for everyday use and time management especially. Steve Peters' Chimp Paradox is brilliant manual on how to tame your lizard brain

Because most people buying it are in the stage of development where this is the only way they know to become successful and how to survive. This book is pretty much "How to be Orange 101"

There is absolutely no scientific evidence that seeds, fruits and vegetables are harmful for human beings. However you'll find tons of research pointing harmful effects of animal products. If you look at the largest systemic studies following hundreds of thousands of people all show that high intake of fruits and vegetables reduce overall mortality from all causes and increase the longevity and overall health. Toxins do not release stress hormones, they are passed into liver where they are deconjugated passed into the bowels and excreted. Not eating fibre is one of the quickes way to dig yourself an early grave. If seeds ruined our stress hormones, humanity would have died out thousands of years ago.

These are as red as can be The goal of Total War games is pretty much utter domination and constant warmongering. There is a bit of Blue once you can get your cities under control but we all know that the fun part is riding down the barbarian hordes (#unleashyourinnerred) -
Sometimes you can get there going very slow rather than going very fast. That can actually be way more enjoyable for both.

Stop looking at sex as a dick & vagina play. It is a harmony of 2 bodies, emotions and chemistry. The environment plays a great role and so does state of mind, any worries, stress , light, smells, ecc. Before you even penetrate the girl you need to spend 40 minutes (at least) on foreplay and massage to build up her desire and circulation. In the bed the man is yang, he kindles quickly but also fades quickly where girl is yin, she needs longer time to kindle but will keep the fire going for long time. Instead of mindless bashing like you see in porn, slow down and have her savour every thrust. Use your hands and mouth as much as you can to stimulate other areas of her body. She also needs to feel comfortable being naked in front of you. For some women this means less light and more natural light such as a candle. Spend a lot of time finding her G-spot. It exists and it is very real. Before you even penetrate her, she should already be beyond at least 1 orgasm, ideally more. David Deida's book "Way of the Superior Man" is quite good.

Many of us occasionally experience sleepless night, maybe there is no need to go into panic mode about one night. Stay away from caffeine and all stimulants and try to tire yourself out during the day by some physical activity. Lots of sleep discussions have been made here recently. If this becomes chronic, consider seeing a professional.

Interesting idea, maybe @Leo Gura should add an option to "Purchase as a gift"

I'd like @Nahm to answer that question. He will have something more profound to say about that than me.

Ofcourse, some women prefer it that way. I have a friend whose wife has pretty much become housewife, taking care of baby and the house and they both seem pretty happy with it.....at least on the outside but a resentment may be building on the inside.

A lot of guys are immature with a scared little child dominating their life. There is often no rationale behind many actions and it is not their fault, they were often denied love in early childhood or had to play father figure to their moms if their dad were unable to. You don't know any of his past and never will. It is probably better this way. Move along and let go. Allow yourself to grief and to cry and make sure to feel through the emotions you are experiencing until they wash away and leave you. He deserves forgiveness and you deserve peace. At the same time contemplate if you have something to learn from this experience.

Do you mean Joseph or TJ?

Personally, I don't think that's right. It is ok for a guy to pay more often, to pay for restaurants, outdoor activities or maybe to pay bills but the costs should generally be split. Of course this changes, if the man is the only source of income and the woman, decides to stay home for a couple years raising kids. In that case, it is ok for a guy to finance everything. If you are in a situation where both people earn decent money, there needs to be a split of rent, utilities and general costs. Guy and the girls should also learn traits that would have historically applied to single-sex. So while guy is doing dishes, ironing, cooking, taking care of plants and cleaning the bathroom, the girl should learn to fix the bike, to change water in a car radiator, to unclog the sink, to fix the toilet and replace all light bulbs in the house. This prepares both for life in case they got separated and it also helps men to embrace their feminine side and women their masculine side. Otherwise, you'll end up with the stereotypical the provider and the housewife, the blueprint for slow suicide marriage. The guy always on top, the girl taking care of kids, the dad bribing kids with gifts that she can't afford and the mom falling into depression because she realises she has become a slave of her husband's will. (happened to my parents and got them eventually separated)

This is what I am thinking, but maybe Turquoise is not the ultimate stage so open to being wrong. A lot of green people think they are beyond turquoise where in reality they are still halfway in Orange.
