  1. I am not too familiar with US testing but I believe DoctorsData have this option. There's gotta be other labs where you can send a sample for contamination testing but it will probably cost you.

  3. Liver & Kidney tests would be a good start fo these. Seems like you may be having some detoxification/elimination challenges. Food intolerances as well if you can get them.

  6. I saw you said you're in UK. Look up holistic dentistry, many of them are trained specifically to handle these procedures because they understand how toxic they are. No don't go to regular dentist who will just wrench them out.

  8. You can assess your symptoms for example many food sensitivities are caused by leaky gut and if you see them improving it means your gut is healing. But it may take anywhere from 1-3 months depends on the rate of damage & permeability. But unfortunately, we don't have a lot of good tests. You can measure the LPS in your blood, if they reduce it means the gut is healing and there is also the Zonulin test but I don't know how reliable that is
  9. ALpha-Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant not just a chelator. It can be very helpful for diabetics, people suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome or atherosclerosis. But if you are healthy your body produces enough of it. The mistake I see in all these detox threads is the reliance on one thing, magic pill to get you rid of everything that has been stored over years and decades. No, detox doesn't work like that. You need to eliminate all sorts of foods that burden your elimination channels and then go carefully one by one starting from the gut. A detox can last anywhere from 2-6 months. If you dump a bunch of DMSA down a toxic gut, all of those chelated particles will get reabsorbed through your leaky gut walls and you'll get the worst depression of your life.

  11. I wouldn't worry if you are healthy Charlie. We all got stuff inside of us but your body is getting rid of it all the time. Being vegan actually makes your systemic detoxification much smoother & faster since you are avoiding a lot of crap from animal products.

  13. @levani you're in UK right? There are bunch of excellent supplement companies around here so see what they have on their websites. In my opinion, the top brands in here are: Viridian, Cytoplan, Allergy Research, Biocare, Nutriadvanced. I heard Willey's have a good fish oil so see what they say about their testing. I don't like Solgar tbh, they sell all over Holland & Barrets which are the shittiest types of supplements on the market imo. See what the other brands have to offer. Cytoplan is my personal favourite, they offer variety of wholefood products and their price range is good as well. They have a nice ALgal Oil as well
  14. Do you really think you will be told? They'll ask you to sign a waiver, e.g. if you die as a result of the vaccine, it's not their. fault. It may be safe but are you willing to sacrifice your health (that, from what I read is not very good already) to earn some quick cash? Why do you think they are paying you this sort of money? Because it is a fucking risky business to be a drug tester. I am not discouraging you, I just think you need to REALLY think this through. That is unless you have an existential financial crisis and you desperately need the money.
  15. The reason fish oil is taken is the so-called "long-chain fatty acids" of the Omega 3 family of fats (fatty acids). There are two that are crucial: 1. Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) a 20 Carbon chain with 5 double bonds. 2. Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) a 22 carbon chain with 6 double bonds This is because a standard diet is practically devoid of these and even when they are present (e.g. fish ) they are destroyed by the heat processing and turned into oxidised fats that are harmful especially to cardiovascular system & prostate. So the idea of Fish Oil is to replenish these. They indeed have powerful antiinflammatory effects but the risk is that they can be contaminated. At the moment there is no legislation anywhere in the world (I might be wrong on this) that regulates supplemental companies to display results of heavy metal testing on fish oils....and as such most of them don't do it. Since heavy metals have a high affinity for fats and lipid-rich tissue this risk can be quite extreme if you use fish from contaminated sources. Now, are there heavy metal-free fish oils? Yes, I think so....there are highly conscious companies out there but most people do not make the effort to seek them out and just buy whatever in Walmart (or any supermarket in Europe) because these are usually cheaper. So if you want to ensure that the fish oil is clean, seek out highly reputable products, clean from wild-caught fish that is tested for lead, cadmium, mercury, PCBs, POPs (btw POPs are even bigger problem than heavy metals), microplastics and other form of garbage. I don't know any such company (nor have I ever looked) which is why I'm staying away from fish oil and advise all my clients to do the same (when I see that they are ready to move on, not everybody is). Luckily there is an alternative in form of Algal Oil. Algae do not take in heavy metals because they do not have the same type of organic tissue as animals. They are easy to grow in controlled environments and are far more economical & sustainable than harvesting bodies of dead fish. Having said all that here are 2 types of oils you can combine if you don't want to consume fish oils but want to ensure the benefits of long-chain fatty acids: 1. flaxseed oil - either from capsules (again should come from a reputable source) or coming from dark glass bottles, store in the fridge. 2. Algal Oil - that contains around 300mg of DHA I wouldn't supplement lomg term as a guy as there is some evidence of high intake of PUFAs and Prostate growth but I believe this is because they are often rancid such as when eating fried fish. On the top of that you may consume 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds (or chia) every day. In terms of fish the only ones I'd probably eat is sardines & mackerel or salmon caught in wild pacific waters, the type of dark red not the orange, nothing else is safe. The bottom dwellers like crabs, lobsters or shells contain low mercury but they can be highly contaminated with microplastics. There are also Omega 3 eggs that come from chickens fed flaxseeds that already do the metabolic conversion of EPA & DHA for you. Hope that helps

The thing is that these jugs are made of really solid hard plastic and the amount of time the water spends inside is short. Just don't filter boiling water ofcourse.
  17. @Striving for more get some basic testing done. It may be that your elimination channels are struggling. It could be in the liver and it may be hormonal as well. See if your doctor could get you these tests: * full thyroid panel * kidney & liver testing * hba1c & fasting glucose * your catecholamines (this may not be an option thou) * ECG * neurological assessment Naturally, as others mentioned we cannot exclude trauma or PTSD, you'd have to tell us if there is a factor.
  18. Getting any sort of contraception (oral/vaginal/patches) for the purpose of discomfort from condoms is very shortsighted strategy. I wouldn't absolutely recommend it. Couple reasons: * Mirena has been linked to vaginal bleeding, possible infection, endometriosis, PID & possible complications of female menstrual cycle * It leeches copper into your body which can offset your Zinc stores and if your Zinc gets depleted, your gut will become permeable, your immunity will get F...ed and all sorts of shitstorm can come out of that * Contraception use has also been linked to deep venal thrombosis in females and for women who also smoke the risk of breast cancer is increased 8 fold. The link between breast cancer & contraception (without smoking) hasn't been proven yet but it has not been rejected either. Definitely no unless you have severe hormonal problems. It is just not worth doing this sort of offense to your health fr the discomfort of condoms.
  19. @vinc3nc by no means does any of this have to be correct but based on the few available info I got above, here are few assumptions from me. Again this is based on limited amount of information I have Creatinine This is increased in more muscular individuals and also those taking creatinine. It is also elevated when the consumption of meat & protein is higher. But it may also indicate that kidneys are struggling, prostate growth (not sure about your age, unlikely to be an issue under 45) or some sort of obstruction in kidneys (stone??) GFR This is tricky. It shows decline in kidney filtration. The cause could be intake of protein in the diet, alcohol (probably not your case) but also autoimmunity such as glomerulonephritis. Do you know if your doc assessed any antibodies? This could also be caused by high heavy metal content in kidney area. If gut microbiome is damaged it can eleate urea and so can many drugs. Thyroid This can be hard to identify but it could be coming from the gut. If your gut is a bit leaky it will allow certain proteins to migrate through and it has been found that it may damage kidneys and flare up thyroid as well. But again not enough info * what's your protein intake daily? * were there any other numbers on the test? (liver, CRP, ESR, antibodies of any sort, Vitamin D, B12 etc..) * any chance you may have been exposed to a lot of heavy metals? Do you consume a lot of bone broth & tuna? Very limited amount of information but I would presume there is a connection between gut damage & damage to kidneys of some sort. Would need some more intel

  23. That's probably just MCT extract right, I think that's the good part of coconut oil. Coconut is perfect for skin, or any skin fungal infection as well. I use it as a moisturiser during winter. Yeah, it's a nice hack I learned during my vegan times most foods do not need oil to cook. The same way you don't need to start your cooking with onion lol.
  24. I use a Britta filter. You can order one on UK Amazon with 6 filters for about £50. It is not as great as Reverse Osmosis but in my rented flat I don't have the space right now.
  25. Oh man oils & fats are such gigantic & controversial topics! I can only tell you the results of my research (that comes with my own biases) and I know other people will have different opinions Cooking oils For long time I believed that coconut is the best oil for cooking. I don't anymore. I have of course not read all the literature but from what I gathered, coconut oil has been linked to elevated LDL cholesterol & triglycerides and it has been linked to it in several of the largest systemic studies (we are talking tens of thousands of people data) and as such for me has no longer place in a healthy diet. (I am aware that most people won't agree with this statement, that's fine just presenting you my opinion) AT the moment I believe the best oil for cooking is Extra Virgin Olive oil but..... it has to be processed by mechanical means, without heat. Cold-pressed. Ideally from Italy or Greek Islands such as Corfu. It is important that it is delivered in glass bottle, dark and that it was not on the shelf forever. Never buy oils in plastic transparent bottles...oxidised lipid peroxides is what you get....bad, don't buy. The reason I believe EVOO is best because it contains the highest amount of protective polyphenols that kinda sacrifice themselves as you cook to catch the free radicals being produced so in a way the EVOO is protecting itself to be good for you even after you cooked on it. If you are vegan or want to be, it is possible you don't need to cook on oil at all once you stop eating meat. Use water if you are only making veggies, there is no need for oil if there is no steak there. Seriously water is brilliant for cooking, it just takes a bit longer and you need to add it sporadically to prevent burning. Palm Oil I dunno too much about this one tbh. It was never attractive to me to research it but it is a plant oil with a lot of saturated fats. Don't know how prone it is to oxidation and I have a thing with palm oil after I saw how Borneo is getting fucked up with palm oil plantations so honest answer, don't really know but I will never use it in my kitchen Omega 6s Yes this an issue if you use a ot of plant oils, most of them are Omega 6 heavy and if you don't have dietary sources of Omega 3s (lineseed oil, flax, chia, hemp seeds, oily fish, algal oil, walnuts) then you may tip the balance of Omega 6: Omega 3 too much and that can have some nasty consequences. Again for this reason I'm going back to above. If you have to cook on oil use EVOO, not a lot and not for too long. If you don't have to just use water. NEVER use cheap oils (e.g. sunflower, rapeseed) bought from large plastic bottles!! If you want to dip your Omega 3: 6 balance add bit of lineseed oil to your diet. Cold pressed, from dark glass bottle, stored in dark cupboard, away from sun & heat, not toe be kept on shelf longer than 3 months. Also you may pre-grind bunch of flax seeds and just add them to your food Saturated Fats If there is one topic in nutrition that has been roasted and argued over like an inheritance in a poor family it is Saturated Fats and its effect on heart disease. I'm gonna say this, saturated fats on their own are probably not the cause of heart disease. They can however be a complication if the person already has other things out of balance (e.g. blood sugar, stress, toxicity, nutritional deficiencies, high homocysteine) and other factors that will contribute to heart disease risk & atherosclerosis. If your diet is very high in fibre & wholefoods, you can probably get away with eating more saturated fats than somebody who is avoiding plant foods. if your gut is healthy, it will absorb less of it and there is a huge genetic component on a lipid carrier called Apoliproteins, maybe you've seen these words (APOE2, ApoE3, ApoE4). If you are a carrier of single nuclear polymorphism (mutation) of ApoE4 your risk of dementia is increased 14-fold. For these people saturated fats is complete and utter disaster. Eating western diet while being ApoE4 is equal to stuffing wax down your veins. Another thing with saturated fats is that those consume from animal sources come together with the animal cholesterol which is often oxidised by the time you have fried that steak for 30 minutes on some cheap plant oil and behaves as a free radical. So the bigger risk is now arterial damage from all the free radicals and all the carcinogens. Not to mention oxidised iron in the gut is as toxic as eating charred wood. Saturated fats are somewhat needed in tiny amounts for your cell fuidity but you'll get those amounts from nuts, seeds and an occasional egg if you like that. In my opinion you don't need them and most people consume too much of them as it is. Again, all just my opinion. Hope that's helpful
