  1. I like to dress for comfort. I feel like its all about self expression and wearing what you're happy with. I try and keep my clothes stain free and not wear torn clothing or stained up clothing. I feel like that says something about you that you don't care. Appearance does matter.
  2. I just finished reading a short book mindfulness meditation. I know very little about meditation. I need to read more. It even recommends learning about yoga. I think that would be very good. I need to learn how to do it before I actually do it.
  3. I love to cry especially with tear jerker movies. I don't so much cry over life's frustrations anymore just happy moments and sad moments in movies/tv shows.
  4. My problem is for as long as I can remember I have been playing video games and watching tv. I can't imagine my life without them. All my cousins and friends did these things. It's normal for me. Even my dad who was in the air force for 20 years he plays lots of video games and has a huge collection of movies and tv shows. He's 65 and still continues to play his video games. He has a lot of books he hasn't read says he just can't concentrate to read more than a page or two. He's a writer has been writing he says 7 books for about 20 years now I'd say or longer. He works on this during the day and in the afternoon plays many video games. In the evening he watches his television shows or movies. I don't have many friends my dad lives downstairs in the same apartment building he is basically my social interaction so as you can imagine we both play several of the same games and so this gives us something to relate to each other. He also is somewhat on the positive side he says he's not addicted but just this does this tv and video games because he's retired and just a way to spend his day. Now I watched Leo's video on bad habits and I know I need to cut out the video games tv and movies that's harder it's what I do most and what my kids enjoy. I couldn't imagine not being someone who plays video games and watches tv. I've been groomed that you can learn life lessons from tv and video games. I know I should be spending more time doing cleaning, reading that I never have time for. I try to do it at night, but I stay up late watching tv and playing video games so that leaves me too tired to read. It usually takes me an average of 6 weeks to read one short 300 page book. Self help books well those I never finish I want to get better, but the work is difficult and hard to deal with my past.
  5. I can relate to this topic. I have always suffered to find my passion in life. When I was in high school almost 20 years ago there were things I was good at accounting, business courses, computers not programming or anything so technical just generally good with using them and taking basic computer courses using Office programs. When I took accounting I was good at it so after I graduated high school I figured accounting was my path so when I went to college I pursued the Bachelor's Degree program in Accounting. Once I was able to finally get a job in an accounting and stay for a fair length of time I realized it was a little too complex and dull. So I had spent so much time studying accounting and trying to pursue a career in it only to find out it wasn't for me. So I began to think about computers again only to discover it's really too late. I'm too old and didn't get the right foundation early in life they put me in special ed classes in grammar school and junior high because when my parents divorced in the 90's I had trouble in school. I feel like this worked against me so they put me in easy classes setting me up to perhaps just be like a bookkeeping or something much more simple. They didn't believe I could handle anything more complex so while I did well when I took computer courses ( I took Information Processing sophmore year) and did well my guidance counselor didn't really stop to really figure out what would be best for me they don't do that. So here I am 36 and I still don't have path I should pursue for something great to do. My dad spent his years in the Air Force and then the post office for 15 years. I took the postal exam and did well so that is currently my next idea. I just don't know if that will be it. I'm starting to believe I will just keep drifting from job to job never finding my ideal job that I will love more than anything else.
  6. I don't think he's manipulating people he seems to be really in tune with good ways to live a happy fulfilling life. He doesn't claim to be perfect. His vision is to help others and in order to do that he has to get the word out. He has his video series which costs a lot of money, but I'm sure will be very worthwhile. I'm not able to do this yet so I watch as many videos on his site I can.
  7. I use music when I'm working around the house it's very uplifting. I certainly don't think I'm addicted though I love it and won't cut it out of my life. It helps me.
