@Maxx May I also add it seems like many people who throw a lot of criticism towards self help and more specifically self help books practice self help themselves but call it something else. A lot of people who are into philosophy do this.

I was into videogames, then i started watching youtube videos of said videogames, then i started listening to a podcast from one of said youtubers, then I got into podcasts and started really liking Joe Rogan's podcast where he'd talk about psychedelics and simulation theory which led me to my first ever truly deep thought. "What if reality isn't as real as I thought previously?" I continued to listen to his podcasts and he eventually had Jason Silva on and he talked about Buddhism a bit. I wasn't religious at the time but had been looking for an ideology that I can identify with. I don't remember specifically what led me to meditation and enlightenment after that but I do remember Duncan Trussell playing and important role in my journey and I also remember that Leo is the one who introduced me to meditation and personal development. I was actually so clueless about Buddhism at first that I was looking for a "Buddhist Bible" I couldn't find one so I settled on an app that was just a bunch of short quotes from the Buddha that you could scroll through. I don't consider myself Buddhist but I do remember enjoying that app a lot.

I feel it could be extremely helpful for you all to let the scientific research that's being done here inform your practice. At 8:01 he says something interesting. He talks about how most people have a technique that works good for them at first but then as the technique changes them they get to a point where they're not growing at all or only growing a little bit. So it's starting to make even more sense to me now why people say self-inquiry and "just letting go" are the best and most direct ways to reach enlightenment. I'm assuming it's because they're the most open-ended but I could be wrong. Today I posted (what I think to be) a very open-ended method on the Meditation Mega Thread, part of my inspiration for it was thr info i got from this video. But try your own methods and see what works for you. Jeffery has made points about how it's not good to force your specific favorite meditation technique onto others because the research has shown everyone's different.

A Method For The Indecisive Creative Types Who Can't Settle On A Practice like yours truly intuitive yoga: sit and focus on where your intuitive awareness naturally takes you. there will be many thoughts, sensations, ect. but you will naturally be drawn to a specific thing in your awareness. it could be a thought, a concept, a sensation, a visualization, maybe something you perceive with your senses, ect. focus on that thing until your intuitive awareness loses interest. when it loses interest intuitively scan/observe your entire field of awareness until you find something else to focus on. try to be loose and natural in this process. you wanna see this almost as more of a natural trance state than a meditation. there will be moments when there's nothing specific that you're drawn to, in these moments you can observe your awareness inconclusively dace from one thing to the next . do not force your awareness to go anywhere or do anything, this also means you can't force it to stop being forceful this is the practice of intuition at the end of the day. so if you're having trouble understanding aspects of how to do the meditation allow that intuitive awareness to fill in the gaps and guide the practice. stay open ended with your practice so much so that if your intuition gives you a hint that you should drastically change the way you do this practice you should follow up on that and change it. -
Soy gets a lot of stigma these days. It's because of the estrogen in it, but i've heard that it's not actually bad because it's not animal estrogen. So if that's the case what we really should be watching out for is dairy and chicken products.

Is this a bad thing to do? I always just assumed that it is. What's your opinion on using the Law of Attraction to enlighten yourself? Or at least using it as one of the many tools in your toolkit. I'm pretty sure I've heard Leo make a mention about how he does this.

@nice shot you just got yourself a follow on soundcloud bud.

@username on the forum we see a lot more original thinkers but if you check out the youtube comment section of Leo's vids you'll be bound to find some Lord Leo worshipers. it probably comes from the confident and assertive way he delivers his content which we seem to not see as much of in the spiritual community. Leo is just too alpha for his own good.

in this thread we suggest interesting thumbnail ideas heres some: leo takes off his shirt and ties it around his eyes to reference an unconscious action one may be doing leo throws up the "blood" gang sign to indicate how we should use our natural talents that are embedded in our DNA leo solutes the camera as a representation of one following their intuition the way a soldier follows the commands of an officer with no question leo does that thing where you put your hand by you mouth and press your tongue to your inner cheek so it looks like he's sucking an invisible dick, the title of the video will be 'How To Stop Sucking Your Ego's Dick'

@ajasatya so did you start the 24 hour mindfulness on only mondays? after reading your post i was thinking a good way of doing this would be to start trying half a day a week, then next week a whole day, then 2 days ect until you're doing it 24/7. or at least having the 24/7 intention because i'd imagine it'd be extremely hard to not get distracted by something and become unconscious at many points throughout the day. considering it happens to me even in stillness.

facebook has almost a scary effect on me. i deleted my account long ago because of my obsessive lurking of a girl i had a crush on but i made another almost a year ago to reconnect with friends again but just didn't add the particular girl i was obsessive about. but about the scary effect, i'll go on real quick just to check my messages and then i'll see an interesting looking gif on the home feed. i'll check it out and then unconsciously scroll down and that very moment it starts, the moment i scroll down an inch, i'll start mindlessly scrolling through the feed in some sort of trance for like 5 minutes before i realize whats happening. it's a drug, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. the worst part is that it seems to be this way by design.

love the sketches, they seem to show a lot of emotion behind them. interesting to read about your unfortunate childhood events juxtaposed with them. you seem to have digested those negative experiences well over time though, that's comforting to see. i also really liked your paintings, especially Sobriety. keep up the good work man you're meant to create. -
would ya?

one of my first spiritual experiences was from listening to this back when i was like 17 and was an atheist with little interest in spirituality. i was waiting for the bus in the morning while listening to this album and it effected my consciousness in a way i couldn't really explain. it made everything look so beautiful and surreal. -
i think i'd just spend all my time meditating and try to get solitary confinement if i can. wouldn't wanna hurt anyone for it though. i'd also hope they have vegan options for food.

that man is realizing he's been on a stationary plane his whole life and was lied to by the zionist agenda. oh what this must entail the realization we are the center of this universe that God created for our soul's progression. yeah Leo is a Flat Earther but of course won't redpill us on the subject since he would lose credibility and there are more pressing matters a foot such as enlightenment. yeah he's eluded to it a few times but he rightfully won't come out of the FE closet because it's more important that he gets his info out on non-duality, the last thing Leo wants is mainstream media seeing all seekers as "Flattard nutjobs" thus demonizing the purest movement on this plane. *i intentionally "forgot" the "t" at the end* -
this is the truth. it's always possible you're getting catfished even if you're in the midst of a first date. i can't tell you how many times i've gone to touch a handsome gal's face just for my hand to go straight through like mist.
