Well it’s probably because you both found forgiveness somewhere inside. If you're withdrawing to go inwards and find forgiveness to every hurtful memory then I support that.

But this occasion feels different. Everyone wants to justify why their hurt and anger is justified. But remember the quote I wrote not long ago on my journal that took me yeaaars to really get it. "Know you're defending your ego whenever you're arguing for the correctness of your perseption" Rather become aware of the part of the mind that wants to label everyone who hurt you as morons and conciously descide not to defend yourself anymore. And you should discover a wider space within you that needs no protection. And sees all events as perfectly harmless

I didn't get the second part But... I would say forgiveness is when you see all beings as perfectly guiltless and holy loved by god. It a way of overlooking their surface display of insanity and choosing to see with the eyes of love. It's about being aware in the midst of insanity and ego rampings that love is not affected in any way and turns not its back on anyone. Because when you turn your back on others, you are the one who becomes seperated from the feast

The conflict energy and disturbed emotions will get resolved only when you turn towards them with total vulnerability and allowence. Running away is just postponement of the problem.

Forgiveness need not have any limits. Because if you condemn others. You condemn yourself aswell. And there's no point in doing that

And you find that the ones that crucify you are actually the means for your salvation

You grow not by turning your back on others. You grow by facing another cheek even if injustices are done to you. The cheek of love and forgiveness.

Because only love can heal and only love can trancend all things.

But... as the scripture once sayed to me. "You cannot trancend what you don't embrace with your love"

Love cannot get hurt. Love laughs at such things and embraces it with a smile and gives back only compassion to the ones that are offended by your presence. Only ego gets hurt. You're defending the wrong guy.

It's like when a child decides to no longer talk to her parents or best friend because her feelings got hurt and now she decides to turn her back on them in the attempt to make hurt them or take revenge.

Holy scriptures are not just concepts and theories and interpretations. It's about Grace and the Words of Truth that carry a certain influence that is way beyond just the intelectual entertainment. Such books have metaphysical properties that stimulate the opening and healing of the heart. It plants seeds of awakening. It purifies the mind. And it is a way, a portal so to speak, through which one can tap into certain states of consciouness, and make a connection with certain beings to receive their grace, support and guidence. The point is to find a vision that make your eyes sparkle with fire and it feels like your heart has become wide open as you endulge in that vision. Then of course the ego fear based part of the mind is going to come in with a milion reasons why you are mad and shouldn't do it. The point is to chose love anyways, then you will be following the destiny you were meant to follow. And all things of heaven and earth will come to support your flowering. Because God wants nothing more then to see your heart becoming wide open and support you on the way to walk the path of love. After all it is He who is guiding your every through the feeling of Love. It is He who is putting these desires in your heart that make your eyes sparkle with hope and inspiration. So also trust that He will take care of you as you allow yourself to follow that stream of Love. After all you'll have to chose love over fear some time. It could be now or it could be after a 1000 lifetimes. But it's inevitable. And God can outwait you anyways. So your options are kinda none in the end

I don't think you can desensitise yourself from feeling other people's emotions because all minds are joined anyways. All you can do is become obnoxious and unconscious by becoming drunk or smth. But obviously that's not what I would recommend doing:D Anyhow, it's probably better to embrace what you feel regardless if it's coming from you or from others. By bringing the presence of peace to whatever you feel, you bring these energies to harmony and you help others to get there aswell. So you become like a frequency holder or a healer. That's good. The real cause of lethargy is actually a tamasic mind. And a tamasic mind can be caused by a milion things. Wrong impressions in the mind, masturbation, stimulants, bad diet, polluted air, dense ego, addictions, negative emotions, bad company of people, and a milion other things. Strong inspiration definitely helps to push against the wind. But the weight of the lethargy can only come down by rightful living and having a pure satvic mind.

You have guts, I'll give you that. A good question to ask before making any decision in life: "Which choice would serve my highest commitment in life" And see if you're following the voice of love ❤ or fear based egoic thinking. ☠ If u follow your heart it will naturally feel like you're going against the whole world ? because the world is insane. "Let love guide your way" is a good school of thought. Because love is truth and truth is inteligence that knows how to take care of you
