  1. "you can't pour from an empty cup" What if. Service to others is what fills your cup with insane amount of love?
  2. No I wouldn't. But again... No one knows what caused the bleeding. You're jumping to conclusions too fast that it was the overworking. Wow. Okay... Tcare
  3. Mmm... If your definition of a workaholic is someone who is relentless in his pursuit of helping others. Then... Why such a negative connotation? It should be a positive thing.
  4. I agree here. And perhaps he is doing it sustainably. We don't know what caused the brain bleeding. Perhaps he was doing all things good and well and something just happened.
  5. Oh that old phylosophical game... Yea I know. Service is the most Devine selfishness there is. Because you serve the yourself which is the whole LIFE. Indeed selfish.
  6. True. True. And I do acknowledge these to be valid ways to live as well. But what if.... There is nothing more fulfilling than to be of service in life? Perhaps that is what is driving an enlightened mind to be of such intense service. Perhaps that is the wisest thing one could do or be in samadhi would be the other extreme.
  7. I'm somehow skeptical it was the work that caused it. I would rather wait for more info of what really happened
  8. By doing something else... I believe. And perhaps we won't agree on this. But I believe there is nothing else to do after enlightenment except: 1. Be in samadhi. 2. Be of service. That something else can be ego-pampering time only. And an enlightened mind would not be doing that. Or at least that's what my logic says.
  9. Perhaps. But there are examples of beings who lived their life in service. And Jesus wasn't the only example. In this day and age there are enlightened beings who are living in that way aswell
  10. Guys... Cmon. I can't be the only one who can see how what bees do can be seen as a manifestation of love.
  11. Mmm... Damn you have good comebacks. But let's be fair. There's some kind of beauty in being of service rather than being ego-centric. And you say it depends how you do it. But I would ask. How can there be a wrong way to be of service?
  12. You know I heard something interesting about bees.. I heard that bees live for 2-3weeks approximately. And that bees never rest or sleep but work work work. And they die working till their last moment. And the queen is giving birth to 8000bees nothing but giving birth birth birth until she dies. And the interesting thing is that in shamanism they call this phenomena Love. They say Bees are a manifestation of just a big service and love basically. Pretty cool huh. Maybe there is a lesson in nature here.
  13. Mhmm. Sounds like something I could agree on, yea.
  14. Oh I remembered the point I was trying to make. The stories being true or not is irrelevant. The point I was trying to make is: to be a 24/7 of service is an enlightened quality, a quality of Truth and not some negative self deception poo poo quality. There... My brains started working now
  15. I don’t know how you arrived at this conclusion. But i think if people were less stupid and more conscious/loving, we would be fine.
  16. Hmmm. Actually I agree here. Any story even if it's fake that speaks about surrendering ego-centerness for service-centerness would be inspiring. So... I don't know where I was going with this lol
  17. It's probably not even that important if the story is true or not. There are many similar examples of enlightened people who gave their life in service besides one Jew. Any one of those examples is enough to make my point. Which is... I can't even remember now 😅
  18. Of course you can question the whole story is not true even to begin with. But might be true. I just hope we can leave that possiblity on the table that's all.
  19. I meant to say the story of Jesus. The legacy that he left. That whole demonstration of forgiveness and love and all that. That has strong impact and inspiration to be less ego centric on people even till this day. I doubt being run by a bus would have that impact.
  20. Lol. But you know... Millions of people have become inspired by Jesus to be of service when they saw what they saw. I doubt anyone would be inspired by you being run by a bus so maybe there was something more to it than simply being killed.
