Children don't belong to you. They are not your legacy. -

Go for sadhanapada, they like young people like you very much. And they are very supportive and welcoming to every one who want to stay in the ashram and do spiritual sadhana. Plus you did IE so it's already a big step. -

Putting things that are dear to you on a pedestal is not a bad thing, despite what everybody else tells you... When soneone asked krishna's advise on women he sayed, "every time i see a women that means something to me, I create an altar for her, what she choses to become is up to her."

Nice fashion for piece You can just look for clothes in 100% cotton somewhere on the internet. It feels extremely good If you want like sadhguru then type in dhoti, kurta, shawl. -
"It's not about being right, It's about being appropriate and relevant to the situation." We're all guilty here of the same thing to some digree.

When it comes to dissolving karma vippasana is indeed a good practice. I don't know any other practice capable of doing this execpt sadhguru. People are underrestimating vippasana a lot. -
A month long or longer pilgrimage without socializing. Socializing is the first escape for ego to run away from facing its inner demons and also It's a distraction to focus inward.

Yes, he only teaches yoga in live sessions. Because yoga is an experience not bundle of instructions There're programs all over europe and everywhere.

See there are two ways. One is you focus on Self-realization and after that purity will follow by itself out of your level of consciousness. Second is you purify, purify, purify yourself to enlightenment. These are the two ways you can approach it. First one is faster but you will suffer all the way from all kinds of neurosis and compulsions cravings and depressions untill you reach some significant states of consciousness, then at this point things will start to fall off from you naturally. Thats why people started to say only if you're enlightened you can be happy. That's not true. There is a another pathway that works directly on removing all the junk you carry with you, if you want, you can be happy, balanced, stable and pure and free from compulsions without even knowing a thing about enlightenment just by following a certain process of purifying yourself. A process of purification includes all kinds of things, like, aultruism, love, devotion, volunteering and also various techniques to transform you, like yoga, and kriya and initiations and many other things can be done to you.

Self-realization has very little to do with dissolving compulsions. That's why people think that It's almost impossible to come out of it because they dont realize that dissolving karma or compulsions is a different ball game altogether. You need a different understanding and practice to make any progress in this. And It's not hard to do it at all if you know what you're doing and what techniques to use. You can be free from compulsions without self-realization because purification is a different game then self-realization and there are different methods for both. "Now you set up yourself in such a way if you follow your desire you suffer, if you resist, you also suffer. You're in a lose-lose situation here" #sadhguru on what to do about your desires. Highly reccomended for this topic. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=389731201621819&id=20781959145&fs=0&focus_composer=0

I honestly dont see the point of forcing yourself and torturing yourself against your compulsions like this. Rather find a way to dissolve your compulsions. For this there are legit methods and techniques. If you simply manage your harmone activity you wont even have to fight it. So much so that you can spend months not even having any thougths about masturbating. That's how I did it. I went for almost a year masturbating maybe once in 2-3months. I even got pain of excess sperm in me. and i never even tried to do no fap. It's just natural if you do something like yoga (real yoga) or vippasana or something that dissolves compulsions or balances your hormonal activity. Not many techniques can do that tho. Some techniques just raise your awareness or mindfulness without doing much about your compulsions. Simply resisting something all your life maybe is safe.. But what a torturious way of living...

That's normal. That's the way it should be. I tried resisting not to ejaculate in my sleep and i got balls pain. Doctor told me unless your body finds a way to release excess sperm it will cause pain.
-
If you go no fap your body will release excess sperm in your sleep, through your urine. That's biology, body knows what to do, when to do. Fapping everyday is just a compulsion it's not biology.

If you want to stay there for 2-3weeks volunteer, do your sadhana and reside, then there are no requirements for it, but if you you want to stay there for a long period and be a fulltime volunteer then usually they ask you to get initiated into at least one of their programs like inner engineering or hatha yoga or smth. Physical fitness requirement are just for those who want to do some other programs like sadhanapada (7month process for inner transformation) or smth. It's a different ball game a bit. -

Yea I did. I even wanted to go there for sadhanapada program for 7months this summer. I even got permission and everything, only thing is Im not in a good physical condition right now so i've postponed it to next year. They really allow almost anybody to stay there. Free of cost, free food and everything, for whatever duration you want. Only price you have to pay is your life :D. You have to invest your time and energy into it otherwise nobody will let you stay there My experience.. What can I say. You wake up 4:30am, you go to sleep 9.30pm. In between: sadhana, sadhana, sadhana, temples, grace, satsangs, festivals, amazing atmosphere and energy, very supportive place for spiritual growth, amazing people, amazing life event all in all.
