  1. It need not necessarily be an action. You can sit and revebarate with your true will and not do anything else and feel good about it. Although as your internal state shifts you may find yourself inspired to live more intensely outside aswell.
  2. It's in there, if you pay closer attention there are moments where you allow your heart to be expressed. Little drops of that energy come through. In these moments you feel more alive and good. The goal is to make those drops into wild unstoppable rivers.
  3. Fear of death is not the problem, fear of life is the problem. Fear to say to life and to your heart 100% yes and live accordingly.
  4. There is a driving force beyond the survival that is not concerned about survival but is concerned about exploration, expansion, passion, creativity and celebration. That's your true will, that's the will of god inside you. The fear of survival is egoic will, this voice of fear often causes us to deny our true will and we end up living not the life that we truly want, but the life that is considered safe by egoic fear based standards. If we deny our heart too much, inner conflict arises between what we truly want and what we chose to do. The degree of depression follows accordingly inevitably. In fact, the denial of your true will is the only way to feel down.
  5. He was trying to be cool, haha.
  6. To live is a natural desire of every living organism. By the will of god it is so. And that will is your will aswell. But when we lose awareness or we suppress our deepest most natural desires/will, then we become "disconnected" from God and then we get funny ideas that wouldn't exist otherwise.
  7. We can take that into account, but I don't know if it matters much in this case.
  8. No I haven't validated his workings, I barely understand him, lol. Although I have come to some of the same conclusions as him just through a different route.
  9. Well high iq score by definition means his reasoning is going to be super sharp and clean. There is still room for error if a person is using his intellect to support his egoic agenda. In such cases one can use the intellect to bend logic and endorse their agenda. But who's to judge other person's level of ego? One would have to be egoless himself to intuit the other person's density of ego correctly. And none of us here are egoless. So nobody has an upper hand to call him bias here. And nobody has a superior reasoning than him here because his reasoning is the highest in the world. That said, it's still possible that he's wrong, it just that nobody here qualifies to make that statement.
  10. Idk, but perhaps he had good reasons to believe it is true. True. Only your ability to make sense and be logical increases as one's iq increases. That alone is not enough to be automatically right, but it's a factor worth considering that has weight. Egolessness and unbiasness is also another important factor to consider, but perhaps he excels even in that domain. So on what basis are people going to criticize his position? Simply calling him wrong and deluded has no weight.
  11. The only antidote against self deception is egolessness. Because it's the selfish part of us that wants to twist reality to suit our own agenda. However, I would argue even in that department Chris is ahead you guys. But that debate would be hard to resolve. It's hard to measure people's egos in a tangable way.
  12. The arguments I see here are based on reasoning and logic. It just so happens that a person with a much higher capacity to reason and be logical has a different opinion on this topic. It also gives him more weight and credibility because his reasoning is much less likely to have flaws. That's the definition of high iq basically.
  13. The argument that a cognitive developed mind would reject Christianity doesn't stand because a person with a sharpest, most resonable, logical, cognitive mind with 210iq is actually a christian, lol.
  14. @CoolDreamThanks there's a video of Raj giving a discourse on the topic "the basis of a dream". Because it's your favorite subject I thought you'll be interested, haha. In the beginning he talks a bit about the Christmas then moves on to talk about the subject. He even says many things in your favor, or at least seemingly so, I guess it depends how one interprets it.
  15. I don't know why but I feel drawn to sharing some material over here. I descided to trust the voice and see what happens.
  16. That's not the way to understand Christianity. Beliefs have nothing to do with understanding. It's when you enter a Chapel sanctuary (be it in external form or internal) and tears of love knock you down on the floor that you realize "oh fuck, this is real" lol. That's when it begins to make more sense slowly aswell. Although there's a lot of bs there too on the surface level until you go deeper into more mystical christianity where the real essence reveals itself.
  17. I used to think christianity is the dummest thing on the planet. Little did I know I was the dummest fool on the planet You just have to dig a bit deeper.
  18. I never thought acim could be turned into a funny chess game lol.
  19. Lesson 78 Let miracles replace all grievances. Perhaps it is not yet quite clear to you that each decision that you make is one between a grievance and a miracle. ²Each grievance stands like a dark shield of hate before the miracle it would conceal. ³And as you raise it up before your eyes, you will not see the miracle beyond. ⁴Yet all the while it waits for you in light, but you behold your grievances instead. Today we go beyond the grievances, to look upon the miracle instead. ²We will reverse the way you see by not allowing sight to stop before it sees. ³We will not wait before the shield of hate, but lay it down and gently lift our eyes in silence to behold the Son of God. He waits for you behind your grievances, and as you lay them down he will appear in shining light where each one stood before. ²For every grievance is a block to sight, and as it lifts you see the Son of God where he has always been. ³He stands in light, but you were in the dark. ⁴Each grievance made the darkness deeper, and you could not see. Today we will attempt to see God’s Son. ²We will not let ourselves be blind to him; we will not look upon our grievances. ³So is the seeing of the world reversed, as we look out toward truth, away from fear. ⁴We will select one person you have used as target for your grievances, and lay the grievances aside and look at him. ⁵Someone, perhaps, you fear and even hate; someone you think you love who angered you; someone you call a friend, but whom you see as difficult at times or hard to please, demanding, irritating or untrue to the ideal he should accept as his, according to the role you set for him. You know the one to choose; his name has crossed your mind already. ²He will be the one of whom we ask God’s Son be shown to you. ³Through seeing him behind the grievances that you have held against him, you will learn that what lay hidden while you saw him not is there in everyone, and can be seen. ⁴He who was enemy is more than friend when he is freed to take the holy role the Holy Spirit has assigned to him. ⁵Let him be savior unto you today. ⁶Such is his role in God your Father’s plan. Our longer practice periods today will see him in this role. ²You will attempt to hold him in your mind, first as you now consider him. ³You will review his faults, the difficulties you have had with him, the pain he caused you, his neglect, and all the little and the larger hurts he gave. ⁴You will regard his body with its flaws and better points as well, and you will think of his mistakes and even of his “sins.” Then let us ask of Him Who knows this Son of God in his reality and truth, that we may look on him a different way, and see our savior shining in the light of true forgiveness, given unto us. ²We ask Him in the holy Name of God and of His Son, as holy as Himself: ³Let me behold my savior in this one You have appointed as the one for me to ask to lead me to the holy light in which he stands, that I may join with him. ⁴The body’s eyes are closed, and as you think of him who grieved you, let your mind be shown the light in him beyond your grievances. What you have asked for cannot be denied. ²Your savior has been waiting long for this. ³He would be free, and make his freedom yours. ⁴The Holy Spirit leans from him to you, seeing no separation in God’s Son. ⁵And what you see through Him will free you both. ⁶Be very quiet now, and look upon your shining savior. ⁷No dark grievances obscure the sight of him. ⁸You have allowed the Holy Spirit to express through him the role God gave Him that you might be saved. God thanks you for these quiet times today in which you laid your images aside, and looked upon the miracle of love the Holy Spirit showed you in their place. ²The world and Heaven join in thanking you, for not one Thought of God but must rejoice as you are saved, and all the world with you. We will remember this throughout the day, and take the role assigned to us as part of God’s salvation plan, and not our own. ²Temptation falls away when we allow each one we meet to save us, and refuse to hide his light behind our grievances. ³To everyone you meet, and to the ones you think of or remember from the past, allow the role of savior to be given, that you may share it with him. ⁴For you both, and all the sightless ones as well, we pray: ⁵Let miracles replace all grievances. (ACIM, W-78.1:1-4;2:1-3;3:1-4;4:1-5;5:1-6;6:1-4;7:1-4;8:1-8;9:1-2;10:1-5)
  20. If there are contradicting desires then one will be out of fear and another will be out of love. Love's will is very simple, straightforward and clear yet we chose not to listen to it if we value our egoic desires, hence the conflict. Filter out every voice in your head that comes out of fear and see what vision comes to you radiating in your mind with brilliance, openness and lightness. That will be the right one. The vision will show itself easier if you're by yourself somewhere in nature in silence, somewhere nice.
  21. Random thought. Imagine how much freedom there would be, if we didn't need food or water to survive.
  22. I know, right. I feel like this knowledge is soon going to become mainstream and penetrate the masses because there's increasingly more and more content like this on the internet nowadays. Soon materialism will have no place left to hide imo.
  23. This guy is the most convincing evidence for the after life so far.
