Maybe you misunderstood him somehow. I think yes. God looks like Jesus because he is an embodyment of god. God also looks like Krishna and Shiva and buddha and what not because these beings and god a literally sinonimous. Perhaps this is what he meant. -

Lol Yes. Christ consciouness is the source of the universe. Jesus was an embodyment of this consciouness. There were many beings who reached and embodied this consciouness. Jesus was just one of those avatars of god. But god has many avatars. Not just Jesus. Perhaps this help -
Being able to go without any junk food for years is quite a task. Many people couldn't do it. That's why they need some chemicals to protect their mouth. Plus there are toothpastes that are not just to keep the teeth clean but to strenghten them to a new level of vitality and health. Which is something one can't get just by using the tongue and fingers imo. Even if toothpastes are not nessecary. Using one escpesially an ayurvedic herbal toothpastes can rise the dental health to a new level. Which is a useful thing imo.

The wisdom of cheating

I'm still laughing at it till today ? ___ Regarding semen retention. Yeah, all that confidence talk and becoming legendary in every area of life is placebo imo. But there are some benefits to it for sure. Ideally the end of f-aping should happen naturally as a consiquence of one's spiritual sadhana and refinement. If a person does a decent quality spiritual practice for 3-4 years. It should be enough to come out of it naturally for most people. It's not that big of a deal really. It's a basic step towards enlightenment work imo.

Shambhavi should help to lower the pulling gravity of addictions. But it only works if the practice is done consistently imo.

It takes a lot maturity and development in spirit to outgrow and trancend these things. Being true to yourself starts from being aware of yourself. The more self-aware you become, the more your actions will be true and authentic and in lign with what you truly feel. Don't worry about being authentic. Just worry about being concious. The rest will happen by itself. ?

"Whatever makes you sleep well at night"

Good probably. "Do whatever makes you sleep well at night" - a wise saying.

I think you should take a brake from this nonsense spirituality phylosophy, escpesially nonduality ? Include meditation in your routine. It will keep you sober and grounded will rise your awareness, make you more inteligent. This way, through meditation one day you will achieve real recognition of no self instead of this nondual mental masturbation ? self inquiry used by nondual teachers is supposed to be a meditative practice btw not a mental intellectual gymnastics. ?
-
Another simple answer without going into any phylosophy. Probably no. I feel you're not very satisfied with the situation and how things turned out. Wisdom was lacking in you actions and behaviour imo. I could be projecting sorry. ? Authentic true action usually brings things into harmony. Actions that cause more disharmony are not authentic
-
You have to understand what being authentic means then. Authentic means true. Being true to yourself has many degrees. The highest degree of being true to yourself and being authentic is to be nondual god ? but we don't need to go that far. We are always authentic to a degree. The more self-aware you are and more truthful about how you feel you are the more authentic your actions will be. Simple answer Yes. Everybody is authentic always. But in different degrees. More aware = more honest = more true = more authentic.

There are feelings and interpretations of feelings. A state of mind that does not interpret anything sees everything as pure love and beauty. It's called samadhi. A mind that interprets things is always wrong. All interpretations are distortions of reality. Thus disharmony comes into being. (Apparant disharmony) Ultimately there's only nondual love and harmony. Ego-mind's interpretations of reality is a distortion that causes suffering and appareat disharmony which is not real ultimately. -

Mechanics are very simple. If one is in lign with the truth, natural joy is there. If one is in delusion and ignorance, suffering and disharmony is there. Ultimately there's only harmony and love. Love has no opposite really. But it appears that there is an opposite because of ignorance. Ignorance has a power to cause suffering and disharmony. -
Best thing you can do is to observe yourself and how this situation makes you feel. That's what being authentic and truthful means. You don't deny or supress anything that feel. Just allow yourself to experience it fully. After that an appropriate action will manifest by itself. That action will be much more authentic and true.

Yes it is baked into the body. When somebody is in harmony with everything. Every cell in the body is dancing Hallelujah. And it sings the opposite when somebody does something that is not in accordance with truth and love. -
Also the word "burning through karma" has a different meaning here I think then the original meaning. Original meaning of burning through karma is the end of desire. It's impossible to burn through desire by indulging in pleasures. It's actually creates an opposite effect. It's gathering more and more karma this way. More and more unsatisfaction and cravings. The more you chase pleaures more karma gets acquired. Real burning of karma means, end of cravings. That is only possible through some spiritual dicipline or path. By the practice of awareness and purification and selfless activity/seva. It's the opposite of indulgance. It's total abstainance of pleaures combined with awareness and spiritual dicipline. This leads to liberation and the end of karma in the original meaning of the word. People are misusing this word for something else here i think.

I think most you can achieve by indulging in pleasures is disillusionment that they won't bring happyness. And then the real burning of karma starts. It's called a spiritual path ? You can chase money, sex, fame, pleaures etc..etc. believing it will make you happy. After you do all those things. It's possible that a realization will happen that all these things won't make me happy. And then a person turns spiritual. But it's a dumb stupid way of doing things. If you’re smart, you can see through the nonsense of worldy pleaures and jump over it on a spiritual path without going through all that drama. That's how I see it at least. It's true tho that many people are so blind that if you tell them wordly pleasures won't make them happy. They will not comprehend this and deny it. So these type of people need to struggle in the world a bit. Play the rat race games. Chase after their fantasies. Pursue all kinds of pleasures etc. After they do all that for long enough wisdom is supposed to come. That these things are not going to make me happy. But if you're smart, all this is irrelevent. This advise to indulge in pleasures is for stupid people who have no vision at all. ?

The way I see it. Either you feel harmonious or disharmonious. If you feel disharmonious, you must be doing something wrong. Simple ? Sorry, i know it's probably not what you asked in your question. I'm not fully grasping what you write, or what is the problem here ? -
