Sorry, yeah awareness of awareness purifies the mind sufficiently. Except that it's not the fastest direct way of doing it. That's what I meant. Purification means dissolving ego. That implies anger, lust, greed, compulsions, attachments, envy, everything that is toxic in the mind. I probably missed many more. Long. Even if you do therapy all your life, there will still be things to work out. It's really... usually you have to live it. To make it into your path of liberation. Some people invest their whole life into it. It's a spiritual path by itself. The level of your mind's purification can determine the level of your awareness because it is the ego that pulls awareness down. If ego is gone. No practice is needed, your awareness will float up to the sky. Like an air balloon. Heavier your ego is, the lower your air baloon is. If your ego is gone your awareness floats to the mahasamadhi. So how long does purification take is the same question how long does it take to achieve mahasamadhi ? Others you know, instead of eliminating ego, crank up the energy, that's the kriya path. It's like intensifying the fire in the air ballon so it goes higher. That's what psychedelics temporarely do to you. They blow your energies really high and you experience what it looks like when the air balloon is in the cosmos. It all works the same to all people imo. The machanics of purification are simple. There are many techniques in spirituality in that regard, you can find something that you resonate with. If you don't know anything echkart tolle's inner body meditation is good. Vipassana retreat could really purge you well also. There're many of these things. Probably every path has it's own way of dealing with purification. Do some confessions to the priest maybe ? it all works. Just chose what you resonate with. Or just do aware of awareness. It's good enough. Does the job eventually anyways. -

@Raptorsin7 see, aware of awareness is not the most effective practice for purification. It's more to rise awareness and create distance between your psyche and awareness. It leads to the realization that I'm nothing at all and nothing ever happens to me. It's beautiful but it has no quality like bliss or love. It's a different kind of freedom, freedom of silence. Also it's a little bit like problem bypassing. When you do aware of awareness meditation. You jump over all your traumas and problems into that which has no problems. It doesn't purify the mind and traumas much, rather it separates you from the psyche and mind and traumas. The purification element is there also but not so deep like therapy for example. If you’re interested in purification there are other ways to go about it. Practices like vipassana or hatha yoga that focuses more on the body has a deeper impact on purification of the mind. But know this, purification takes a lot of time. There's garbage in your mind you have no clue about. Layers upon layers of garbage, even lifetimes of garbage. So ? but still purification has it's place. I do it also. How much you care about it depends on individual. If you really want to invest in that direction than just find an appropriate practice you can do that purifies your mind on a daily basis. It would be useful. But aware of awareness practice does purify the mind sufficiently enough imo. Hopefully something will resonate here. ? -

What looks like a snake? -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah, I've heard many things like that also ? it takes a huge cultural leap to start liking snakes ? I think only one who accepts death can enjoy snakes. Somehow they go together. And acceptance of death is what spirituality is all about. If you accept death, you go beyond death or you become death itself. A living death is the fragrance of a realized yogi. It's a different world altogether. -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yep, I like death and snakes ? . That's what self-realization means. Plungging into death, the core of existence. But it's not easy to explain this to people ? better not to speak about it. -

No rituals is needed. It's a primordial energy. You just have to sit in primordial meditation or in other words it deepens your aware of awareness meditation and makes you grow faster. I use it all the time. I even sleep with it. According to sadhguru yes. If you’re receptive enough it should be enough. There's an element of receptivity to it also. Grace of dhyanalinga has to penetrate your entire being. Visiting a temple live can give you that receptivity and connection necessary. But it can be done without visiting the temple also. -

? it is not tied down. It's a garment of flowers and an honoring to snake. The king of stillness. Snake can be still like a yogi that's why snake is used as a symbolism of an attained yogi in samadhi. Plus it's a symbolism of kundalini. Dhyanalinga can invigorate one's energies to grow faster. -

Stillness is the source of all things. -

@mandyjw the god of nothingness ? It is zen primordial energy temple (dhyanalinga). I have a yantra and a picture to support and deepen my zen insight into the source of all things. It can be used to deepen ones meditation. I've even been in that temple so I have a strong etheric connection to it now. ? a video on dhyanalinga -

Don't know how to respond to that ? -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Haha sorry ? I hope it really sinks in because it contradicts the fundamentals of what leo is teaching this is huge stuff im talking. Yes I agree to some extent. Nothingness and love are two sides of the same coin really. That's cool. ? I have a feeling a didn't comprehend fully the previous post of yours. Sometimes it takes a long time to sink in what you write for me ? ? P.S. just arrived my a course in miracles book. Lets see what Jesus have to say about it ? -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Fundamental truth of who you are is nothing, not love. Nothingness is the source, love is the manifestaion. Both are you. But to say love is your absolute nature is not true. Nothingness is your absolute fundamental nature. Nothing beats nothingness. Yet all qualities like love and bliss and peace are one with nothingness. Nothingness is King. No logic can beat this. Mic drop. Michael jackson moon walking away... -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
So? What does that have to do with anything? ? -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's next level altogether ? maybe I can give you tips how I dealt with my stomach problems one day but not here ? -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What I wrote has value. It was not to debate people. People need to realize that love is not the source, nothingness is the source. Love comes out of nothingness and therefore are one. Everything is one. Nothing and love is one. But to say love is the source is a false teaching... -

Now you're doing the same thing. -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shin okey I accept that. But I don't see any clear objection in what you wrote that what I'm saying is illogical or is not true ? -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shin end of experience is not an experience. At least it is not a phenomenal experience. Maybe a non phenomenal experience that can't be put into words becouse it's beyond all words and all qualities. Nothingness is the best word for it. Yeah we may have some difference is what we mean by nirvana. Nirvana in my language means the end of phenomenal experience or cessation could be called -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well there's a thing called cessation or nirvana or nirvikalpa samadhi where all manifestaion and and love and bliss dissapears. What is left is only nothingness. So obviously love and manifestaion is secondary. And nothingness is the fundamental source of all creation. At least it makes sense to me. -
Salvijus replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@BenG ? -

Manifestaion is secondary. It cames and goes. Nothingness doesn't come and go. It's the fundamental nature of who you are. Love is a secondary nature of who you are. Love is your fragrance. Nothingness is your true self.
