  1. It's all about the power of presence and your ability to stay as presence and not identified with a bundle of thoughts. When you're identified with the movement of the mind u lose presence. When you disidentify from the movement of the mind you create space between your thoughts and yourself. That yourself is called presence. The more you can stay as presence the bigger gap is there between your minds activity and you. When the gap becomes total or when total disidentification from mind activity happens, u reach a place beyond all suffering.
  2. Until one becomes fully enlightened. When one transmutes all animalistic energy into devine energy. When one becomes a buddha.
  3. It's a miracle to hear such information from you i love it. I didn't know about it ?
  4. @How to be wise If u search the internet a bit u may find more information about it. Maybe some more evidence as well. https://isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/article/brahma-muhurta-time-to-create-yoursel According to the International Journal of Yoga and Allied Sciences, during the pre-dawn period, there is the availability of nascent oxygen in the atmosphere. This nascent oxygen easily mixes with hemoglobin forming oxyhemoglobin, which has the following benefits: Boosts immunity Increases energy level Helps maintain the balance of blood pH Relieves pain, soreness, and cramps Enhances the absorption of minerals and vitamins I think it's scientificly provable that human system functions somewhat differently at different times of the day. A jump from that to what sadhguru says is really small imo.
  5. actually if you type "bhrama muhudram" or "meditation before sunrise" in google you'll find dozens of people talking about it. Mostly from yoga and ayurveda traditions. Other traditions may have different names for this period. I think this knowledge existed for thousands of years already. And it's not that 3.40am is a magical number. It's has smth to do with a planets position to the sun. At least that's what the video says. If u watched the video then u probably know as much as i do lol. Here's a good example of another video demonstrating the kind of understanding and logic that is behind yogic traditions.
  6. It's just strange that people are completely incapable of allowing any possiblity that different times of the day can have different impact on meditation. It just boggles my mind totally what is so unbelievable about it. So obviously false. And yet when asked about it directly nobody has any argument to back up that perspective. That's as lame as it gets.
  7. U guys are weird, how do u guys even come up with such weird explanations. How hard can it be to consider the idea that it can literally be true that different times have different impact on meditation and it's not just placebo or clever manipulation to make people wake up early in the morning.
  8. Im just exposing that your statements are baseless. It's only fair.
  9. Yet u haven't made a single argument to back up your statements. You're just calling and labeling things that u don't like as new agey without any real back up. Empty statements.
  10. That's just your perpective. U don't know how scientific or unscientific spirituallity really is. You're guessing and assuming things that u don't know again. Again. And again.
  11. Lol. You're right. I completely dismiss a statement like that.
  12. And how do u know what things are placebo and what are absolutely true and scientific? U don't. You're just guessing most of the time and labeling things left and right as placebo without any arguments to back it up. That's the point im trying to make. It's so simple and obvious if you're honest to look at it.
  13. Some things are true even if u don't believe at all in them. You're dismissing a lot of spiritual phenomena without any basis.
  14. Even if we go by your definition of what chakras are (my definition is a bit different). U're still admitting that they exist. So... what was the point in writing that?
  15. Your theory is valid. But u are using this theory to explain what was sayed in the video when what was actually sayed had nothing in common with your theory. That doesn't mean your theory is not valid tho.
  16. Yea but you're impling that sadhguru is spreading total bs but it still works. And then u say chakras and mantras are total bs too but it works by the same principle. And i say that's all just name calling without any back up arguments. Truly u don't know if it's bs or not. You're just guessing. Those are just empty statements without any substance.
  17. @Gesundheit2 oh okey, i see your point now. U think it's too fairy-talish to be true. That's fair enough. But i don't understand what's so fairy talish to say that different times of the day are more condusive for different tasks. It's true for plants, animals, insects. Might as well be true for human beings and meditation. When it comes to such matters, it depends how credible is the source of information i guess.
  18. @Nilsi @Michal__ lol, just how hard it is to understand the argument that at different times of the day the system functions differently and is more condusive for different tasks. It's so simple. How do u even come up with such weird interpretations lol. Calling chakras and mantras superstitions is just a label without any real back up. How do u know it's all fake? U don't. You're just guessing, im guessing ?
  19. This seems to imply that sadhguru is a fraud teaching just for money and makes up lies to make his audience bigger. If u chose to make statements like that, at least back it up with some arguments. So far it's just name calling without any substance.
  20. @axiom yea i heard his awakening story. it goes a bit different actually. First awakening was for 4hours and the second time it happened it was for 12days or so. He didn't change his story once really. It's always the same. I think u confused something, that's all.
  21. That's actually the first decent criticism i heard on this thread so far. I was thinking the same thing that 3.40 in summer is very different then 3.40in winter. And what about all the time changes etc. All this rises many questions. But at the same time im not quick to dismiss it bc there could be some truth to it imo. I just think he wouldn't bother making up lies just to get sick pleasure out of it. Plus his explanation is convincing enough that there could be some truth to it. At least for me.
