It's like inventing a technology that grows trees in full size in three days. Maybe it's possible but I think there would be something very wrong with that tree. Human evolution takes time, it's growing in its appropriate pace no need to haten it. It's already growing the way it should be growing. In accordance to natural laws of nature and tao. That's how i feel about it. You can also turn 3year old infant into 60year old wise man in 3days using artificial advanced technology. But something inside is deepy against this kind of interference with nature.

If psychedelics rise baseline awareness i would agree. But if psychedelics don't, then they don’t serve the highest purpose and goal. Only those things that contribute to the embodyment of higher awareness are relevent.

So in the end if embodyment is more important. Than meditation or other spiritual practice that rise baseline awareness is the highest priority by this logic.

@Consilience i honestly don't see much value in peak moments of understanding. It doesn't feel much different than intelectual understanding. I can intelectually understand Im god and feel special about it but I'm still the same fool existencially. Exisėencially Im at the same place exacly. It's the same thing with peak glimpses. Makes a person believe as he has attained something and now he's better then everbody else. But still that person is the same fool as before if he didn't embody any of that state of consciouness. The way I see it is that there is no way around sober spiritual practice. Embodyment > peak glimpses. So you can dislike and shit on sober spiritual practices all you want for being ineffective. Yet there's no other way around it. It's the only way to achieve what is truly important. Evolution of the soul and embodyment of the highest truth. Idk, if this makes sense tho.

@Leo Gura yeah but you've sayed you want to be the most concious and loving embodyment of god. How are you going to achieve this?

Shouldn't the highest goal be max consciouness embodied? And isn't the only way to do that through sober spiritual practices?

@Leo Gura according to goenka after 4th Jhana there are states of infinite mind. Is that not the same as omniscience that you're talking about?

How are you going to do this without meditation or other spiritual practice? Just with psychedelics?

This is a very good start in tantra I think. Saw this video yesterday, perfect timing.

I don't know what is the best path. All paths develop energy in some way. Even self inquiry will do the trick eventually. When I do self-inquiry my entire body is buzzing with energy. I don't know how it happens it just gradually intensifies as you practice more and more untill your entire body is nothing but energy. The reson it's possible to attain to the same level of awareness like on psychedelics soberly is because when somebody takes psychedelics they do not use anything external. The energy that they gain on psychedelics don't come from the substance, substence is only a trigger poison, energy is coming from your own body reservoirs. So that latent potential spiritual kundalini energy is already there sitting inside you. It's just a question how you will bring it out. There are many ways. I'm not an expert on this. Even after 50years I won't grasp this topic fully I think. When it comes to enlightenment work it's best to just take masters' advaice and follow their instructions. You're not going to outsmart a sage, imo. (That's my personal stance tho)

Open question. What happens if you totally surrender to sleep paralysis? When I wanted to do astral projection I've experienced a paralysis a few times, then I thought "fuck this shit" and it stopped happening. That's the cure basicly ? It's like an intention that you create in your mind not to go in that direction anymore and that's it. Or maybe there's more to it, idk.

@Raptorsin7 well I don't really want to go very deep into it because I don't understand it fully. But in general, it's like coffee. Coffee actually is a poison, and it tastes horrible without sugar and milk. People put this poison into their body and body is being forced to fight this poison so it releases a certain amount of energy from energy resurvoirs. Then people think wow it's great, I feel so much energy but what they don’t realize is that they are draining it. Not cultivating it. And when the coffee wears out they have less energy than before. It's the same with psychedelics. It's a posion. But a different type of poison that triggers a different response. It forces a different kind of energy, a spiritual energy or kundalini energy we could call it for lack of better word. In daoism and yoga they have many different names for different energies, it's a complex thing. So this energy is being drained not cultivated. That's the difference between a sober sage and a psychedelic user, one looks like a drained vegetable another is glowing like a god or a deity with enourmous energy around them. Now there are ways of using psychedelics for your growth. Some yogis use scorpion poison and snake venom poison or mercury poison to trigger the same effect that these psychedelics do. But I don't know much about it. It's a very dangerous thing to do without proper guidence I would say. There are also ways of being drunk on alcohol 24/7 and reach enlightenment in this way. But I don't recommend somebody tries this on their own. It wouldn't be a happy ending imo.

@Raptorsin7 I don't know If I answered it properly. The reason it's easier on psychedelics is because psychedelics unload enourmous energy in the body momenteraly. That energy gives you the power to penetrate through the self. Maybe this is better answer. But that energy you unload comes at a cost somehow. It's an energy that you drain from your energy reservours. So... complex subject it is.

Yea I mean of course. Sober awakening is a gradual process. That energy you feel in your forehead will intensify overtime. At some point it will hit the peak. It's a lifelong process of intensification. Could even do mahasamdhi if it becomes too intense. The intensity of that energy and your level of awareness are the same. When you do it soberly this energy and awareness becomes permenant not like on psychedelics. That's what baseline level of awareness means. That's how you come into permenant state of presence. It happens automatically when the intensity of energy goes beyond a certain threshold.

It's the same thing. Like I sayed when seeking and psychological seeker stops an implosian of energy will happen and profound sense of being will come. Either you do this by cranking up the energies like through psychedelics or kriya yoga. Or you do this through intense self-inquiry. The end goal is the same, an insane implosian of energy in your head and the sense of doer is no more. Just nondual beingness.

It's more then just a vibration. It's an entire fat psyhic ego like an elephant there. And it's very much tangable not some hazy thing that nobody can put his attention on it. Just a sufficient degree of self awareness is needed to confirm this. I have total confidence in what I'm saying here.

The easiest way to become aware of this I doer feeling is to try to stop trying. Trying to stop trying seems like an impossible task but it's possible. This way you can become more and more aware of your I doer feeling.

It is made of desire. You'll just have to find it. It's not easy. It's an energy. A seeking energy. When you become aware of this seeking energy and tension in your mind, an inward implosian of energy happens. That's what turning inward means. An implosian of energy and the psychological drive stops. Youre just in a perfect state of here and now.

It's not a vague hardly tangable like a haze thing that nobody can put their finger on precisely. It's actually very much tangable, like a psychic doer. It's "I'm the doer" feeling. Like a tension of seeker in the psyche. One who becomes aware of this seeking tension in the mind gains the power to disidentify from it and the tension stops. I DISSAPEARS. a state of no seeking and no seeker happens. When there's no seeking, there is no seeker, when there's no seeker there's no I. Then you realize your true nature was never an I but nothingness.
