  1. Uuu nice. ..... Why is the sea king of a hundred streams? Because it lies below them. ~Tao Te Jing
  2. Yea, this sounds more plausable now. People do tend to pretend to be nice as a subtle ego game. A subtle unconscious behavior indeed that can be found in people. But the only antidote to this is self-awareness and deep honesty to yourself which comes from spiritual practices and nowhere else. Now whether people can recognize how honest and self-aware dalai lama is or isn't, i leave it to them. Im not gonna push my personal perseption of him further.
  3. That's okey. I wasn't trying to convince you of anything. Just pointing out how unplausable your narrative of him spending his time learning to become fake is.
  4. @M A J I what's up your butt lol You can’t just barge in and start poo-pooing on everything that is good and beautiful on this planet. Have some respect for people who are of immense value to humanity.
  5. I never claimed he has supernatural powers. Nor do i care if he does.... gosh, how did this get so messed up. I can't even untangle all the misunderstandings anymore, sorry.
  6. Debatable. There's tons we don't know about him. His humbleness and non arrogance can be super deceptive to his actual attainments. And i wasn't trying to say he has super powers to begin with. I was saying in general people tend to miss magical things right before their eyes when they're not ready for it. This applies to many aspects of life. When i tell people for example that acim is written by Jesus and u should give it a try. Watching this info go completely by not landing anywhere is radiculitis in its finest form. There are things people are simply not ready to see even if u shove it in their face. So what i meant is even if dalai lama had supernatural abilities. Only very evolved beings would be able to tell his actual capablities. Common people are too blind.
  7. ? That was neither clever, nor funny, nor anywhere near the right context of what we were discussing. Your insistence of holding a grudge and being grumpy is just embarrassing at this point ? sorry
  8. If it was in front of your nose you'd still miss it if you're not ready for it.
  9. it's like you weren't even trying to understand what i meant. When i say transending animal nature inside makes a person much more pure it means that when a being is not ruled by lust, possesiveness, anger, barking, bickering, compulsiveness etc. In that sense when a being is no longer ruled by these energies he begins to function from higher energy, from the energy of love and compassion and inclusiveness. In that sense it's a more pure state. Pls try to invest at least a pinky of effort to understand such a simple thing. You too. Are trying so hard to distort everything i say so hard. Im not questioning that he was chosen and had special treatment. Im saying your narrative that he was there spending all his time trying to become as fake as possible is ridiculous. How plausable is that? How hard is it to consider that he actually spent all his time doing legit spiritual practices that purify the mind and body and that he actually became a saintly person? I was watching a video yesterday of him sharing how at age 15 or smth he was doing tremendous sadhana. Living in a dark room, walking up at 3am and meditating with his guru who was chanting prayers etc. Like that for who knows how many decades. Doing such intense sadhana since age 15 any demon would become a saint.
  10. Celibacy if combined with proper spiritual path and meditation can be of tremendous boost. It helps to transend all the animal instincts of lust and anger and greed etc. And it makes the mind and spirit much more pure. A celebacy without proper spiritual practice can indeed be dangerous and lead to various perversions. If u wonder on which side dala lama falls i recommend u do more research in amount of sadhana and spiritual practice the guy has done. This forum all combined wouldn't even amount to 1% of his spiritual practice done
  11. ? impressive imagination skills But why would u even believe such a randomly created out of nowhere narrative... you might as well sayed, they're all payed actors.
  12. I doubt anyone here is a dalai lama fan. I personally never watched any of his videos until now. I got interested in checking his videos after the media exploaded. The guy clearly has one of the purest hearts on the planet.
  13. Chosing love over fear. The ancient game of salvation. Blessed be those who chose to walk this path. For indeed it is rare to find a liberated soul. If your soul seeks to find support grace and inspiration on the journey through the valley of death. I suggest u look into the phenomena called "the way of mastery". May the Light be with you Amen
  14. @Jwayne true. He did make the boy uncomfortable towards the end. But within appropriate limits. It's called teasing. If u do it while having total care for the other. There's nothing wrong with it. And like ive sayed many times already. It's not like he was doing it with a hard dick in his pants saliva dripping in his mouth. So the "pervert" nerrative doesn't hold really. You have to look for a different interpretation then.
  15. @Jwayne he could've played it in a milion different ways. True. But the one he chose looked good in his mind probably bc he doesn't interpret every little thing as a human rights abuse. And we could debate that he didn't do anything wrong really if he maintained total sense of care for the boy's wellbeing. It would've been inappropriate only if it was an act of lust and a desire to use him for his pleasures against his will.
  16. I would question whether the boy really felt any trauma. If dalai lama was genuinely full of respect for him. He must have left the stage feeling elated and blessed. That's usually the fruit of genuine relationship based on genuine respect. But im not gonna say that's what happened. That's just how i tend to see things through my yellow glasses. Of course the drama caused by the media will probably have a not so pleasent consiquences.
  17. I think he simply assumed it as a harmless joke. He was not even aware people will interpret it in such a bad way. It happens to people who are very innoscent. Like if a saint walks naked and smiles at people. For a saint it could be just a happy day. For americans it's a huge offence.
  18. Yes there is. And there is also genuine relationships based in genuine love.
  19. The question boils down to. Did dalai lama cause suffering to the boy or did he show his love and compassion to him? What was the fruit of his actions? Well of course the media blew up. But leaving that aside. How did the kid felt at the end? Did he felt traumatized, disrespected, abused etc. Or it was all just laughter, playfulness and mutual continual respect and love for each other till the very end.
  20. "Anything that u do with total inclusiveness, respect, love, compassion is good in my world. It will bear the fruit of joy and happyness. And everything that u do with no regards to others, out of restlesness, out of compulsiveness, out of selfishisness is not cool. It will cause u and others suffering." U disagree with this? That's cool i wasn't aware you're trying to make this point in your previous posts.
  21. Anything that u do with total inclusiveness, respect, love, compassion is good in my world. It will bear the fruit of joy and happyness. And everything that u do with no regards to others, out of restlesness, out of compulsiveness, out of selfishisness is not cool. It will cause u and others suffering.
  22. @Jwayne we are spinning in circles again. I already adressed it. There's nothing i can say to make my perseption more valid then yours. It's just blue glasses world vs red glasses world stuff.
  23. As if there's only one possible interpretation to this. I already showed how it can be interpreted as an harmless act. Refusal to acknowledge it is the only thing that is the problem here.
  24. Im not blaming anyone. Im saying there's a big difference between what uncontrolable lust is doing and what genuine compassion does even if the actions seem to be similar on the surface. This is like the 10th time im repeating myself but you're refusing to acknowledge this simple truth.
