  1. U should've added, "it's only my opinion, and my understanding of meditation is really limited and incomplete, and no serious meditator agrees with my views on meditation" would've been a much more honest answer and wouldn't trigger people that much imo. It's okey to have opinions. It's just that your opinions can easily be challenged and dismissed imo. My direct experience is enough to know everything u say about meditation is utterly wrong lol. That's why i feel very confident any serious meditator would come to the same conclusion... which is in fact a very obvious and fair thing to say that no serious meditator agrees on your views on meditation. It's an easily provable statement. It calls for self reflection at the very least imo.
  2. Lol the sinchronicity. im writing u directly from church. It only looks like that when u cherry pick few sentences out of context. If u read the whole thing u'd see, the teaching of sinlessness is pure gold and the place it points to is the goal of every seeker. The holy instant, pure infinite love, the devine place inside us that remains pure under all conditions. It's by aknowledging that holy place inside us that we can allow all sins of the world to be undone and healed and resolved. That way we become free from our sins. There's no conflict, just misunderstandings and egoic projections
  3. @Leo Gura again with the venting... that toxicity is not healthy for anyone really. I think u could reflect on the point that there are many serious practicioners who consider your views on buddhism inacurrate and full of holes (almost everybody who's made any serious progress on the sober path imo). There's a lot of good benefit that can come by pondering on it. ?
  4. @hyruga there's actually no conflict between acim and the bible, it's just that acim goes a little deeper perhaps. It's only if u read the material trying to find fault with it at any cost, u will. Christians poo pooing on everything that is not the bible is so stereotipical actually... they have the lowest quality criticism always, which usually stems from fear that there might be smth else besides the bible that is legit and good. It's such a childish state of consciouness and evolution. But understandable. No judgement from me on that. But those more developed i think would find acim a fountain of yeshua's grace. Very confident about that i am. P.s. I've read the bible and i grew up with christians all around me so i know all the stories and the material very well.
  5. I reflected on it. And i'm not conviced it is true... if u had watched the video i linked u'd begin to understand why i believe. starts at 25min. I can show u other buddhists who could begin to change your mind about buddhism. Like the one who can walk on water for example. All it takes is a little bit of willingness to explore
  6. I've read the links posted just now. Very weak criticism... childish/skin-deep overview of the material overall.
  7. Leo, I have a strong feeling that almost every buddhist if u asked would say that your understanding of buddhism is not accurate and full of holes. That's a moment worthy of self-reflection imo.
  8. Nicely articulated. I tried to get the same point across many times but it never lands anywhere. Even tho it makes a lot of sense. Į believe buddbist end of suffering goal leads straight to absolute truth bc it is delusions that cause suffering and it is the truth the remove delusions. Hence u can only transcend suffering if youre in constant touch with the truth beyond all suffering. Hence... Use some brains brothers. The rest of it is so obvious.
  9. Maybe but it still doesn't eliminate ego. So the point i was making still stands valid imo. Arguable of course. Many things u say are impossible to verify for me. But the fact that it goes agaisnt So many spiritual schools should def rise some doubt at the very least.
  10. To simplefy what i wrote. 1. Only ego death can liberate conciousness 2. Physical death has no influence on the ego and the karmic load 3. Hence no liberation 4. Hehehe 5. good luck next time
  11. @Leo Gura but how do u know u won't come back? If i understand it correctly, the traditional answer to this problem is that if the karmic load (the ego basicly) is too big it will force u to reincarnate. That's the reason a person can't stay in psychedelic high all the time bc when the chemical wears out, the karmic influence comes back and that's the end of enlightenment glory. Exacly the same thing would happen upon death i believe bc death doesn't kill karma unlike psychedelics do temporarely. So conciousness wouldn't get liberated upon physical death. Only ego death can liberate consciouness not physical death. So does physical death mean the end of ego? As far as j know all the spiritual traditions says no. Hence ... that would prove u wrong.... Im not an expert on this. But it makes sense if you're willing to contemplate sincerely the problem from this particular side of lenses.
  12. How can there be so much confusion about everything here. It's just noise ? MADNESS
  13. U could've just sayed. "I'm not sure, i don't understand the subject well enough. The rabbit hole of what yoga has to offer goes so deep it would take a lifetime of exploration and i'd still wouldn't get to the end of it" that would be a much more honest answer and it wouldn't trigger so many people imo. Btw have u watched the video i linked? It's super cool. It would've changed your opinion about buddhism forever. I have a lot of confidence in it. Unless you're scared of course... ?
  14. That's the method of renunciation i believe. I heard one example once. There're three methods of dealing with a poisonous plant. One is u stay away from it. Renunciation. Two is you're a healer and u can transform poison into medicine. The way of tantra. Or the way of alchemy. Or the way of transformation. (Has many names) And three u consume the poison directly and u see that nothing in the universe can harm u bc u don't exist. That's dzogchen, abiding in no self kind of thing. Just felt like sharing
  15. "Turn the other cheek" would be the christian way. Transforming negative energy through the presence of love. Another way is to observe your feelings and emotions as a silent detachted witness. Honestly the second method i tried for many years and it didn't quite work for me. Maybe it does for other idk. The christian way did miracles to me tho. But it takes time to learn. I reccomend acim for that. Bc that's how i learnt it for myself. The ability has many degrees. At some point when u become very good at it u can exorcise demons and heal ilnesses with the same transformative power of the presence of love. It's quite an esoteric skill imo. It has many other benefits as well.
  16. ... that's ridiculous. The book is pure blessing from the heaven. Everything inside it is shining with crazy diamonds ? honestly tho, no one in the universe is going to convince me that book is dangerous. It's the best thing i've came across in my life arguably.
  17. I don't see anything alien about it. Eliminating all defilements of the ego and experiencing pure primordial womb of existence minus all influence whatsoever is classic buddhism 101.
  18. LEOOOOOOOOOOOO Check out this buddhist. Very awake. Very cool. Very nice Starts from 25min mark. Warning tho, it may change your opinion about buddhism... your precious hate towards it i mean. ?
  19. Ak heeem(throat clearing sound)... hello? That sounds like the end goal of buddhism to me ?
  20. When ralston says why love, the right answer should've been imo: Bc it feels good. What do u get from it in terms of survival? Nothing, it simply feels liberating when u no longer concerned about the I. And love simply flows in all directions. Like watching a sunset, u simply appreciate the beauty of it bc it feels good not bc u try to gain smth.
  21. One of the biggest benefit i recently attained to is the ability to transform anger and triggered energy into acceptance, love and harmony. That's something i struggled for a long time and no practice was able to help me, i'd constantly get triggered and react in the same way over and over. Then by accident i started reading and practicing acim (a course in miracles) and it was the most life changing course for me. Everything about my life changed in that year. My diet, my opinion on every topic, what i like, what i don't like, my very destiny and end goal of life all has changed into smth i had not imagined. That's the power of undergoing a legitamite quality material versus amateur stuff
  22. I don't remember having any doubts. U should see some kind of results in your practice if it's a legitamite good practice imo. And the results will give u faith that you're indeed moving somewhere. legitamite good practice is a very important key point here. Bc u can indeed waste a lot of time doing weird things in the name of spirituality ?
  23. Maybe you're just redirecting your sexual urges to smth else. 3D live porn for example ?
  24. Well, in my experience when i wake up in the morning and meditate i get arousal energy rising up, weird stuff begin to happen in my genitals, the energy goes up my spine, sometimes some body orgasm happens, after about 20-30min the whole thing stops. Even if i was to meditate for 10h more nothing would happen anymore. All the sexual energy that got generated during the sleep has been transmuted. Now this depends on how powerful your meditation is actually. For some it may take much more time to transmute it and in a much less dramatic way. Perhaps they won't be able to even notice it bc the transmutation power is still not very strong. (Depends on how strong your meditation level is) These days i just transmute it while sleeping basicly. Bc the channels that go from the sexual organ through the spine have been cleared significantly so it takes little magnetic power to draw all that out. The chi always goes up when someone is meditating. So u just have to make it go up as hard as u can. Or there are better much more elaborate techniques to do the same. U can also get initiated which makes the whole thing much more dramatic.
