Assuming that you're addictions are not damaging, like heroine addiction or something like that, I would actually suggest you go all in on the addiction route. Then you might truly eventually discover its limitations, instead of me just scratching the surface by taking to you about its limitations. When (if) you truly see its limitations, you will be more congruent when taking on another path. Sure, there will be a lot of time wasted, but that time might help you to make a definite decision later on. I still like to give a try to convince you about not taking the addiction route. Doesn't it have a backside to it? Doesn't it feel inauthentic? My view of addiction is that it is simply used to distract oneself, to quiet the heart. To escape. My last view of it all is the following: Conceder that you are lying on your death bed due to high age. Would you feel content about your life if you chose to live with addictions your whole life? I can end by saying that I can relate to what you say, but I've chosen to try to eliminate addiction. It feels like I didn't write good enough but hopefully it gave you some perspective.

This is a great opportunity for you to practice openminded awareness. It is simply a force in your subconsciousness. When you notice the force acting, like for instance getting the urge to send your classmates your notes, just observe it. Do no take it personal and do not argue with it. Do not feel bad for it happening. Notice what caused it, notice how it makes you feel and notice what it makes you "want" to do. By just giving it space, the force lose its power. However, it will probably not be enough for it to cease completely. Therefore, the next action step would be to notice how this force holds you back, which if you do not already know will be found out when you practice awareness. Then, you simply take action anyway, even if the force holds you back. Today, you probably have a self fulfilling prophecy that makes the force stronger. For instance, you might receive corrections from you classmates on your notes, which you see that as proof that you are not good enough. Therefore, you view it as good that you're insecure. But what really happened might was that you intentionally left some errors subconsciously or deep down you might know that you could have worked harder on it before you sent it to your classmates, which would have led to that you would have found the errors yourself. So, both make sure that you do not increase the strength of the force as described in the second paragraph, and eliminate it by doing what's described in the first paragraph. Do not take the force personal. Just view it as a part of nature, like a virus or something. Simply notice what makes the virus stronger and weaker. Hope that helps!

The aim of the life purpose is not the end result. The end result of life, is death. Therefore, there will never we a point we can reach which will lead to ultimate satisfaction and fulfillment. What will lead to ultimate fulfillment is to be completely present to the moment, always enjoying what is. Having a life purpose can make the journey of life become wonderful. I believe that having a life purpose while being enlightened can lead to what Leo so wonderfully described in the video Free Will Vs. Determinism, like "DakotaBaba" so nicely quoted above. I think it can be problematic to assume that there is one way to ultimately live for everyone. Remember the "enlightenment" and "purpose" are merely symbols and not describing the true nature of life (just like every word). There are as many interpretation of each symbol as there are people on this planet. Also take into account that every person is different. There is no black and white answers. I feel like I can't fully express my though clearly. I need to practice to discuss more. Perhaps it contains a somewhat resourceful perspective.

This is a very common phenomenon which Leo has covered. If you have a social circle where no one is really following their passion and making true progress, and then all of a sudden one person in the social circle steps up and better herself, what does that say about them? It says that they can do exactly the same thing in the area they are surpassing their efforts, in order to stay comfortable. So, unless all your friends choose to be inspired by you, they just become extremely uncomfortable, which translates into them trying to hold you back. So, do not take this personal. Just view it as a law of nature. You do not take it personal when gravity makes sure that things fall to the ground, causing them to break. You just make a note to yourself that you need to keep in mind that if a fragile item falls over the edge, gravity will pull it to the ground and make it break. When you step up in your social circle, they will intuitively try to hold you back.
