  1. @electroBeam You might reject my comment here. That is fine, but if you think about it, it might help. What you are doing is looking to find your identity in other people. You don't understand your own identity yet, or your real self either. So all you have really got is to look for a definition of yourself to be reflected back to you from others. This is a losing game.
  2. @Piotr Piotr, This is very insightful and thoughtful. And you clearly understand this and have not just approached it with programming or something you saw on YouTube. What welcome to reality is prescribing is ego bashing ego. Ego being the judge amd jury or itself and everyone around it. That's the spiritual ego I'm talking about.
  3. @khalifa Hi Khalifa, Right and wrong is part of the programming. It's part of what keeps us enslaved to playing the game. To say that programming is neutral just puts you back at square one with no progress made. So do you want to use one thorn to remove the other, then throw both thorns away once liberated? Or, Do you want to continue to keep denying what programming is because you imagine that you are being spiritual by pretending that everything is OK? The choice is ours. It is important to differentiate "process" and fixed beliefs. Fixed beliefs are the unexamined mind. Process is the examination of mind and the use of insight to crawl out of the pit of Samara one notch at a time. People on here like to hinder themselves, people like Bruno or "Welcome to reality" imagine that one should embody the goal right now. Attempting to emulate a spiritual person is dogma, it's called spiritual bypassing. This is a process, and it's messy, it's not just a case of sit in lotus and let all thoughts pass by like clouds. This is New Age claptrap. The pathless path is true for being "present", but there is also a process of de-conditioning that has to happen, which is called process. Not sure how else to explain it. Hope this makes sense
  4. My advice is to perhaps refrain from indulging in this kind of thinking. Just curious as to why you go straight to hierarchy? Like more advanced people are only here to be of service to newbies? I'm here to work on myself first and foremost, I don't provide coaching services for newbies and greenhorns. I had this before on here, somebody trying to knock down an imaginary hierarchy that they themselves had constructed in their mind. He believed that I was here to provide service to a greenhorn, and got offended when I displayed characteristics of being just as confused. People like to set up things in their minds, and when their expectations are not met in reality they get upset.
  5. @Kenya I hope you're learning something from other people's egos here I certainly am
  6. @Kenya The reason it's blunt, is because it is blunt. That's how it came out. Don't add layers of meaning to it, we have enough of that already!
  7. There is nobody to "be aware",that is just your ego splitting off parts of itself. Youre clueless
  8. This is nonsense. The only way to drop beliefs is to be reactive and let them drop by themselves. You read this in a book and have no idea what you are talking about. You cant just drop something, there is nobody to drop a belief.
  9. This is dogma. This is what everybody has been conditioned to do, it's got nothing to do with the end of suffering, it's all to do with holding onto a political and ideological position. The irony of it is, this is actually the worst advice you could give, because this is the stuff wars are made of
  10. @charlie2dogs One of the biggest jokes in the current hive mind - the grand transformation of the collective human consciousness. Yes, even I bought into it.
  11. Your statement assumes that I'm giving advice that I haven't field tested. Why would somebody assume that others are giving advice that they have not field tested themselves?
  12. I see. She asked how to begin to recover from suffering. Ignore it, that's how to recover from suffering. If people stay grounded in values and beliefs they suffer for the rest of their lives for nothing. Misery loves company, awakening is the beginning of seeing this world as it is, there is nothing to hold onto.
  13. The reason because you feel this way is because the education system is fucking shit. It's designed to churn out indoctrinated worker bees, not to enlighten us. Your feeling are justified.
  14. @Amir Why don't you just do the practice and you will find out how it works for yourself? I see lots of people trying to discuss things that they should be dabbling with and trying out as experiments.
  15. @Bruno I don't know what the content of his video is, so I cannot comment
  16. @SaynotoKlaus You are a slave and a donkey for consumerism, capitalism and corporatism.. You are programmed through language to be an individual to serve this system. Spiral Dynamics orange deceit
  17. @SaynotoKlaus There is nothing wrong with it because we're conditioned to believe it's about hard work. It's not. The 1st world is only here because we exploit the third world. Take some time to find some sources of info close to the reality of this rather than resting on what society tells you that you should be thinking. This is awakening And if you think we're living in a fair world then you are the crazy one my friend
  18. Is it? Even if it was, you think I'm supposed to embody the goal right now? My goal is equanimity with what is. Now, if what is means emotional and defensive, then that's what is. I'm not interested in showing you I've reached the imaginary goal, or your imaginary goal of control over my experience. But what is happening right now is I have more tollerance with my experience. So I won't hold this against you. That's MY goal..
  19. Because I said were programmed to be donkeys for society? How is this an attack? It's the truth. But what I was attempting to do was point out that if you're worried about losing your social conditioning then you cannot be interested in enlightenment. I see it a lot here, people dabbling with these ideas. Enlightenment is the end of the road, I've personally had enough of societies lies and I want the truth. This is just my truth. It's not absolute truth, it's my process.
  20. @Bruno Bruno, Where did you get the idea that people wouldn't get emotional and defensive in response to being attacked?
  21. Yes it is defensive and emotional. Thanks. And what's your reason for pointing out the nature of my comments? Only you can answer that, because you know yourself better than I do
  22. @Bruno Is it? Ok Bruno, thanks for informing me that it's self righteous. I'm glad you're around to help me with my path of becoming less self righteous Thank you. Mal
  23. @DizIzMikey In my opinion, the beat way to do this is see through the main belief first: "I am" Then the rest will crumble as your journey continues. It's really quite easy
