What? What do you mean by that? I find it fascinating that you should mandate which perception is truth and which is just distortion. On LSD, there can be silencing of thoughts, and deep realisation to step out of the heavily ingrained mind patterns. This sounds like the opposite of what you described. What psychedelic drugs are able to assist with is consciousness altering, and this can definitely be helpful for some people. To just discard that as "another level of dream world" seems to me as highly ignorant. I'm assuming you've tried LSD with such a strong statement? Note: I am not saying that one can rely on psychedelics for spirituality. The reason I did it in the first place was actually not for this intent, even though I did receive a lot of insight in this regard. I am however saying that a lot of people hold it dearly as a powerful resource. It's not for everyone of course, just like some people like chocolate while some prefer gummy bears. It's important to be clear with that LSD does not cause e.g schizophrenia. What it may do, is enhance the speed at which an already existing illness is developing. It does not cause illness on its own. So people with history of mental sickness in the family should definitely take care. I recommend that too. One does not have to exclude the other. Side note: Now we're not even talking about DMT, which is a psychedelic I haven't tried. People have said they have come to such profound insights on this one. I'm also curious if you've experienced DMT @Dhana Choko ? -

This is something I really want to empathise: IF YOU CONSIDER DOING LSD: DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE. Having a bad trip can fuck you up bad, and you can't forget it so easy. ------------ Bro. I've done LSD, and the positive results from this are remarkable. It's like you get a chance to remove yourself from the equation, and contemplate your life objectively. To see all the folly committed, and how to remedy it. It does sound ridiculous, but it is kinda like being granted superpowers for a short while. Now, there are of course also negative sides to this. A thing that has extremely powerful properties is often bound to have a wide range of what it's capable of. As a psychonaut, you're exploring uncharted territories and what you'll find can both be pleasant as well as distressing. I've been going through dark waters, and believe me, IT IS NOT ALL FUN. Don't trust the hippies! There is a lot, a lot, to this substance LSD. Very fascinating indeed, and a beneficial resource if treated with respect. One of the best descriptions imo for how it is to navigate through the reality of LSD: "It's like trying to describe colors to a blind person. It changes the way you think." -
Heard about it vaguely. I'll be honest, it feels like this has great potential for the seller of snake oil again But, one has to stay openminded. Or you inevitable become the fool. Your assessment of this?

Which is within the limits for what is considered a LCHF diet. According to my research, this is false. The possible exception to this if you are a heavy-duty serious professional athlete. I have not. What is he about, his expertise? Or more overall?
-
Could you provide a quick summary of what it is? The website seems a bit snake-oil-salesman-ish ^^ Is it basically just a rebranding of LCHF into Bulletproof Diet? I've heard good things about Bulletproof Coffee though. Edit: Correction: It wasn't bulletproof coffee I've heard positivity from.

In short: The title is enough information needed to respond (+ We're talking here about a model in which the ego has legitimate existence, and is not used in order to explain opposite through negation) - I was dabbling in some analytical thought, and found myself struck with confusion at the oddness that the ego should be regarded as "false". It seems so god damn obvious that "I" exist. This is probably rather cliché of course, which means that we can most likely expect people to have a lot of different takes. Which could be interesting. I'm aware that this perspective might turn out to be kind of a logical slippery slope. That is, because the more I try to wrap my head around it, the more my desired understanding seems to go out of the window. There are a lot of objections as to why this model should be accurate. The perception of what one calls "ego" could simply just be illusory dogma. But if we examine this model, I'm curious of what could be carved out through discussion. Obviously, the one and only answer is that consciousness grew tired of being in enlightened freeform constantly. So, lets play a psychotic game with oneself of hide and seek. Simple. Nah. This is awfully confusing. Anyway, I do hope I succeeded in making this subtle initial feeling I had decently manageable to understand. If I failed miserably, let me know. (Preferably with suggestions of improvement). I invite clarifications of where my logical line failed warmly. So. What are your thoughts about the purpose of ego? -
I actually sometimes eat some of the vegetables I'm about to mix in cus I think that maybe the intense blending kills some nutrients, So as to get the best of both worlds, I do a intake of both the raw as well as the mixed version ^^ By the way, fruits may do a little good, but it is the vegetables that is the real health bomb.
-
Is this an indicator that you've been dabbling around with blending before?
-
Also another thing: The body needs fat to pickup all the nutrients*, so make sure you get some of that in conjunction. A hot tip for this is to add avocado to the mix, to be on the sure side. Since I eat LCHF, I get all the fat I need. ^^ *(Again, if I'm not mistaken.) I used to freeze in portions. And also used to freeze small ice cubes of it, to put in drinking water throughout the day, I think I will do that again soon

Truth is, I kinda freestyle with it. Meaning the amount of each specific ingredient is set by feeling. Eventually I might write different recipes for the favorites There are tons of good ones out there though. You will get a lot of inspiration, or just easy-direct-recipies if you google around. And, perhaps some other members has some favorites they can share. I think it could be a good thing to start with a shake that has some nice touches of fruit and berries in it. I personally went kinda hardcore with it and just pursued nutrients without really considering the taste. (I've actually come to enjoy just the fresh taste of vegetables without sugar in the equation.) In any case, This is so crazy healthy man... Not only is it so much more effective and pleasant to drink this as a green shake, but If I'm not mistaken, there are certain nutrients that gets released as it gets smashed in the mixer. Which I believe the body has hard time to break down on it's own and process, meaning you get the pure fucking deal instantly. Even though it is sometimes tad annoying to prepare the mix, I don't think I've ever not thanked myself afterwards when drinking it.

@Wilm lol I forgot the water part
-
@Valium I've also heard interesting things about Ketamine in relation to depression aid. But maybe be careful about throwing out suggestions what ppl should do Maybe you meant it in a manner that, do research and talk to people about it, and then perhaps consider doing it.

"I'm sorry for my bad English." Capital letter for languages. Haha, I am struggling with improvement of grammar too. (feel free to correct me ;P) @dmc3dante Waoow. Such powerful. Very argument. Taking pictures of a random propaganda book, without mentioning name and author, and expecting people to not apply critical thinking when considering your post. Yes, I am a tad defensive about this, and that is because I am sick of the beaten to death propaganda about weed. It's not my intention to be aggressive though. Fun fact: The reason cannabis became illegal was never about the concern for human health. It was about a person owning business in paper, and not wanting competition. (The cannabis plant can be processed into hemp, which in turn can become a form of paper, only that it is stronger then normal paper.) (Video isn't perfect, music and audio are a little bit annoying, but it's a decent enough compilation.)

And in 5 years, lets have online Live lessons one day a week, when the forum is big enough to finance the time Leo puts in. Through ads or a small fee or whatever. :DDDDDDDD -

No likes. +1. The genuineness I perceive from Leo was the mortal blow that caused me to follow his content. -

It's probably a direct result from the declining attention-span humanity is getting, due to vines, facebook etc. Quick titillation. I personally enjoy the length, I feel like you're not just warming up, but also getting in the real exercise. Roflcopter. -
@Ayla Hm okay. So this is the only place where we should recommend products that we enjoy, and have no financial connection to?
-
@marcbro Algae, interesting. Why? How did you learn about it and what is the benefits you've read. Yeah, I had one earlier that broke and wasn't that good at getting the desired mixing. Now, I have one that cost around 65 dollars. Been nominated and won in a lot of tests, I'm quite darn happy with it.

This is not a book I've read, but it is a book that I've heard a lot of people had positive feedback on. Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan.

You're right. There's actually no proof that the brain is the source for the appearing thoughts. But this is currently the model to which I'm estimating has the highest possibility of being accurate. -
Happy to hear that. I was too never really concerned with doing it for weight loss*, it was primarily for health reasons. PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT. *Even though it was/is a motivator, to look better.

I wrote this post here, It's relevant enough to be collected into this thread.

@Ida My knowledge about the human body is not sufficient enough to address all the points you went through. However, I know that there has been a lot of advancements in science regarding this. The very magazine that initiated the war on fat, TIME, has come out with a different narrative: I can however refer to another comment in another thread, regarding cholesterol:
