right, wrong, good, bad, moral, immoral can mean anything to most anyone at any time depending on their belief system and state of mind at the time, for every action there is a reaction, for me it is best to remain in a place of liberation than suffering the consequences of functioning unconsciously.

can i ask you what you think it means to be enlightened?

if you were enlightened you would not be asking others what to do

hey mal, its not always easy, but you just have to keep in mind that you do what you do for the few, who are trying, interested, and listening, generally those few have a sense that something is wrong in this world with the normal picture that is seen by most. i spent a lot of years tied up in religious fanaticism, and newageism, and i knew the whole time there was something else hidden that wasnt visible to most. I came to the conclusion that most of the teaching methods are a slow, process, taking ages most often to awaken, after my own transition i knew it didnt have to be that way, but the short path is only for the few who have grown tired of all the beliefs, practices, theories, and often one has to travel a ways to want that shorter path, and the thing about it is, it is really simple, we are two things, consciousness and the illusion, there is no future and no past, they dont exist, all we have is the moment of now, and most dont live it. It is where destiny is created, the moment of now cant be lived by the illusion, one must be functioning from the real part of themselves, that is where reality is seen, and if any choice and free will exist, it is there where the ability to see the reality and then choose. by being the self, the cleansing of your consciousness is almost an automatic process to a large degree, because as things are seen by the real self, the unwanted begins to dissolve and flow away from you and then the programing that created those beliefs is coming to an end too. I do understand that many of the people on this forum are young, some very young, and often young people think they have all the right answers, how little do they know that they havent even begun to learn, the ones who are open, willing, who can hear without their beliefs destroying what they hear, will benefit, maybe not today but it will happen. as i posted in another topic, advising and attempting to guide others is a huge responsibility because apart from the illusion, excuses and beliefs dont cut it, its all about the consequences or reward of your actions. one judges themselves when they conceive an action in their mind, and they condemn themselves to consequences when they carry out that action, if it has not been seen from reality, and done with the intentions that will keep you in a state of liberation. so the short path is to become the real self, live in the moment of life and all the struggle is over, and if there is to be a future, it was created in the moment of now, whether one was there to experience it or not.

drugs should never be associated with enlightenment, that just newage nonsense coming from those who use the drugs, if you want to know about life after death, seek an enlightened being and ask, they already experience the same state that they will experience after leaving the body.

its not a matter if you should or not, you wont have any control over that, when you as consciousness evolve to the right place, you will experience what is referred to as the opening of the third eye. those telling you about entities, other dimensions, visions, this has nothing to do with the third eye opening. stick this in your pocket and remember it, the opening of the third eye is nothing more than an increased level of awareness, doesn't mean you are going to do all kind of weird things, that is just some newage nonsense from people who have no understanding of the opening of the third eye, you wont open it, but when you are at the right place it will happen but dont expect miracles, because thats not what it is about and really its not about an eye, its about an increased level of awareness, the teaching of chakras are part of a teaching process, i never considered them myself, i just considered it a stumbling block, like a lot of the other nonsense being taught today.

recruiting people to personal growth is sort of like proselytizing people to religion, best get your own life in order and be an example, and once fully awakened enough to know what you are doing in reality, you may choose to take on the responsibility of guiding others and sowing seeds in their minds, by then you will fully understand the consequences of those actions

it is good that your old beliefs are vanishing, wait till they are all gone, and they will, there is no place in an awakened beings life for beliefs., give some thought to the programing that you received during your life that helped to create those beliefs, i would give you one word of advice, if you dont know say i dont know and leave it along, it will visit you again, but if you make an assumption and it ends up being a belief then you are trapped. keep up the good work, all the answers you need are within your consciousness that is awakening from the dream.

you can become self realized and then you will know that what you think you know now isnt reality, i could answer the question about perceiving reality but i had rather you did, what is reality, where is reality found, is there a certain state of being that you must be in to perceive reality? as of right now how do you know when what you think you know is reality?

everything has an awareness, but what kind of awareness is it, where is it rooted , most is rooted in the human idenity, that means that their awareness is governed by programing, false belief, and the warped perception of everything that has been established functioning as the human identity.

the human identity will always be fooled easily, that will never change, the only cure for it is to awaken to the reality of who and what you really are and be that, then no one will fool you, you will be able to see through all their bs, in fact once self realized you will know them better than they know themselves.

there are things you can do to become more aware, once the awakening has begun. many are called, few are chosen, the few are those who heard the calling through their own consciousness and responded by contemplating those things that are presented through consciousness, which creates a change in awareness, the few are the chosen,

what is your objective, in this?

all three are not the same thing. consciousness is aware only to the degree that itself has evolved over time, consciousness observes, consciousness evolves by observing and experiencing what it observes or doesnt observe, they are three separate things, being and performing three separate actions all happening within consciousness itself and it is important to understand that,

no im just like you, i may be older, maybe have traveled further, learned more lessons, paid more consequences, what i did learn can save you a world of pain and heartache, and consequences. Its hard for younger people to listen to older people, but we know what the younger are going to have to go through, we have been there and learned the hard way and sometimes paid some very heavy prices to learn. and if by chance some want to learn the hard way, that is ok too, glad i could help .

use both, if you cant visualize yourself being what you want to become, you wont become, visualization is more important than meditation in some ways. you wont go very far without it.

maybe instead of sitting there quietly you should be somewhere else doing something else, personal growth work will set you apart from the bs and nonsense of this world, are you ready to leave it? and yes dont even think about converting others, you need to convert yourself. and so what if you are not talking about anything when you are surrounded by other people, listen, observe the insanity that is going on in the world by those who are caught up and only know themselves as the physical identity, it can be a big help. if you lose the friends you had, maybe they were not real friends, maybe you will encounter a new kind of friends when you outgrow the old ones.

a hypno session with the right person could be a big help in getting over hurdles, i remember two books that i read that most might enjoy was Dr. Michael Newtons, ( journey of souls, and destiny of souls) i liked the latter one the most, he spent over 50 years regressing patients back into past live to help them overcome problems, most often your problem doesnt lie in this present lifetime. he had several thousand people he had helped, the key is finding the right person, and if you dont know enough about it find someone who really does and listen.

when you really want to quit you will, quitting for others never works, work on your personal growth, and at some point you will drop the cigs.
