you are most welcome, the identity body is causing a lot of suffering for untold millions, but one can detach from the pain body, and begin to heal inside, then the outer will conform to the inner. Don't worry you will get there, just be patient and do the work i talked to you about, it has already begun to change. later

your flaws will dissolve and flow away from you when you are seated in the right space of being. its not about fixing things, it about being self realized and all the perceived problems will no longer be problems
-
you may smoke it until you no longer desire it
-
you will have to experience the real part of you more and more, it will eliminate your problem. There is a master within you waiting to awaken and may have already begun to awaken, seek it, and everything else will be fine, as you do you will feel more powerful in your life, more secure. This is the most simple and most direct answer that i can give you. Spend more time with the life force within yourself, seek it for knowledge and guidance, ask, seek and it will be given to you if you are faithful to it.

How important is your business to you, and how important is your little town to you. What is it about the big city that is pulling at you, the glamour, drama, more social life, loneliness is a state of mind, you only have two choices here, either go to the big city or drop these thoughts about the big city and take care of your business and enjoy your little town, if you are bored find something where you are to occupy that time that you are bored, give time to helping others if nothing else. What ever you do will be what is important to you at the time. If you go to the big city, one day you might wish you had stayed in the small town and took care of your business, without the stresses of big city life. What is really calling to you from that big city. Is it worth losing what you have worked for, which place will give you more peace and time to enjoy life.

if you dont believe in yourself why should she believe in you

I wish there was an easy answer to that but it isnt, it could be very quickly and it could take some period of time, it all hinges on you but you should see some results rather quickly at least in feeling more centered, calmer, when consciousness becomes so attached to the physical body that it thinks it is the body, it has become disassociated from its true state of being. Then it has to awaken to the reality of its true state of being after some period of time, most often after a very long time as the identity, but for you to have the interest in your personal growth that you do is a sign that the consciousness is awakening. The single most important thing that you can do now is, to take short periods of time and simply be still and be quiet and feel the presence of the life force within you, this is the key. Don't try to do this for long periods of time, keep it to fifteen to maybe thirty minutes, but really focus on the life force within. You can also spend time contemplating yourself, seeking the answer to things like, who am I really, what is this force that is keeping this body alive, how did i get here, did i exist before this body, what will happen after i leave this body, direct these questions and others toward the life force within you. It will bring changes, but the whole idea of self realization is to drop the attachment to the identity and experience the real part of yourself and that is the life force that is guiding your body and life. It is your attachment to the body that is keeping you from the experience of the self. The most simple way of regaining your true state of being is to intentionally spend time with the real you, it will cause a greater awakening. You will have to trust what you are dong, be faithful to it, and it will bring results, there will be a lot of things that try to interfere with what you are doing so the desire must be present for change to come. Believe in yourself, everything you need to succeed in life is within your own being, tap into it. There will come a time for you when you will no longer seek the teachings, philosophies and doctrine, paths, writings, of others because the master within you will be your teacher and guide. In this process be careful how you subject yourself to the ideas and beliefs of others, because most all of the people you know have not touched upon this themselves and the most they can give you is ideas and beliefs about what they think. Everything you need to self realize is right within yourself. The real master is within you, seek it, spend time with it, it will do the work for you. Save this text and read it often, I am not trying to teach you philosophies and doctrines here, i am only pointing you to the source of your own being and that is the key to self realization. Those who would hinder you in this work you may have to walk away from for period of time, because if you subject yourself to the negativity of others it will have an affect on you, when you are stronger what other people do won't bother you. You are only responsible for your own awakening, but once awakened you may be able to point friends or family in the right direction for liberation also. Set your eyes on the life force within and dont stop until you are it, functioning as a being of consciousness and not a human identity. Trust yourself, be strong, and never give up.

the same old crap that is rooted in your consciousness will still be there after leaving the body, its called quantum memory, that quantum memory it going to dictate what happens after you die, and if you have another existence -

killing yourself wont bring enlightenment, if you was enlightened you would understand why. -
Mary you say you are not making as much progress in your life, can you define that clearer, what do you consider progress, what gauge are you using to measure your progress by, is it other people? Mary on this journey of self realization you cant judge yourself by others around you and what they are doing and accomplishing, because you are not traveling their path. If you are meditating it should calm you give you peace, and you should feel no stress at all, i think your stress is coming from judging yourself by others and what they are doing. If you are seeking self help your consciousness may have begun to awaken, This is a difficult place for you right now i understand it, Are you allowing the thoughts of these other things to disrupt your meditation, that is what is sounds like, because meditation should be relaxing, calming and peaceful to you, so something is going on in your mind while you are trying to meditate, examine this, understand what is happening to create this stress, and never gauge yourself by others, you are on your own path and if you have begun to seek self realization your life will be much different than theirs. Be patient with yourself, trust what you are doing, give it some time, the path of the identity will always bring pain, suffering and consequences, it happens in its own good time, the path you have started will bring you peace, joy, happiness and love, it is worth the journey. Dont hold expectations of yourself, just do the work and be patient, the source of life within you will get you there.
-
why are you holding the expectations? that is the question you have to answer for yourself. If you are going to hold on to any expectation hold on to this one, i expect you to do what is important to you. It will be true 99.9 % of the time. When you awaken fully you will drop that one too, but it will help you until you are able and will save you some of the pain and misery associated with expectations and attachments.

I never intended on starting a topic on the site ever, but this morning it is different. The title of the topic is the issue, are you really serious about becoming self realized, there are many misconceptions about enlightenment or rather what i call self realization. Programing, false belief, doctrines, philosophies, methods, practices are holding many back from real growth, because they become trapped in ideas that don't really produce growth. I understand the evolution of human consciousness, we are what the evolution of consciousness has brought us to, up until this moment. There are a few good teachers on the earth at this time, that actually can point an individual with the ability to hear toward liberation from the identity body and ego, but the individuals consciousness must have begun to awaken before any real growth can begin. Even after consciousness begins to awaken, it can be very confusing, because of the many distractions from programing and the false beliefs that are held, along with all the theories, methods, practices, journeys, and levels, philosophies, doctrines. Most of these things are nothing but distractions and yet many will say its just part of your growth, well it doesn't have to be that way, its that way because those who are teaching these things have never had the experience of self realization, they teach doctrines and philosophies, not the reality of what self realization is about. The reality of experiencing self realization is far less complicated than the millions and millions and millions of those trying to teach it. It is almost too simple for the average mind to grasp. Self realization is this, consciousness awakening and remembering itself, and realizing that in creating the identity body and becoming attached to it, to the degree that it actually became lost in the identity body and ego, began to take on programing, then formed a false belief system from all of that and ended up with a warped perception of everything. As consciousness begins to awaken from this dream called life it will begin to seek liberation from the identity body that it created to the degree that it can and will function as a being of consciousness and not the identity body and ego while it remains in this dimension. So in effect what is happening is that consciousness is seeking wholeness. If you as consciousness have this urge or desire within for something that you don't yet understand but feel that it is very important to your well being, then embrace it as much as possible, if you can, contemplate it, Instead of a lot of practices and methods, simply spend some time being still, being quiet, drop all the meditation stuff, forget about stilling the mind, it don't and won't work, and just be still and quiet and begin to embrace the life force within the core of your being, feel it, experience it more and more, be one with it. When you are one with it, there will be nothing else, you will be experiencing the moment of life as pure consciousness. This will grow and expand as time passes until you find that you are spending a great deal of time in this space of being, even as you go about what ever daily activities you perform, they can be performed from this space of being. This being of consciousness is love, love is a state of being not an act performed by the identity body. This is the place of peace, joy. This is where your knowledge and understanding will come from that will liberate you. Consciousness has been evolving for a very long time, it has more experience than i care to try and talk about and knowledge and understanding, what is it that consciousness cannot give you if you are in the right space of being to receive it without all the distractions, programing, false beliefs, fictitious identity and ego? Another great thing about being self realized is that you will be experiencing your true state of being while you are still in your physical body, and when consciousness decides that it is time to depart the physical body, you will step out of the body in a conscious, present, aware state of being as pure consciousness, safe, secure and at peace, without the limitations of the identity body, ego, and its desires. There are some fine lines in this that many may want to debate, those fine lines are not important, what is important is that you grasp what it is that you are seeking and how to achieve it with the least amount of effort, time, energy, distractions, consciousness will do what needs to be done, just be one with it. Once self realized you will no longer need spiritual practices, meditation, philosophies, doctrines, you will be liberated from all that, you will have become the I am, the true master, the source of life and all creation. P.S. Leo's video's will show you where you are in this process, when the time comes that you fully understand his work and can embrace it, you will be ready for liberation.

Markus I am self realized, iam not here to debate my own experience with you are anyone else, i am here to share what i have experienced and learned through consciousness itself and share that with those who are seeking the same. I have no interest nor intend to haggle with those who want to pick apart and take issue with things and be rude, rather than try to grasp the concept of what i am sharing. My only interest here is to contribute something to those who have a real desire to be self realized, and reach the highest version of themselves. I talk with and share with those who are real and want to know, and want to grow, i know who they are and i do my best to give them the experience that can to help them, I have no expectations of pleasing everyone here, I am here for the few, who are awakening and those conduct themselves in a way that tells me they are real, and that they are seeking the same thing it took me ages to achieve. Peace, I'm out.

I will try, i had reached a place in personal growth to where i was i felt like it was going no place, it had made me a better person, very responsible in my actions with others, but there was something missing and at the time i knew it existed but couldn't touch it, I knew about self realization but i also knew that i wasn't there and i was tired and wore out being the identity and the problems and consequences it was creating. I wanted liberation. That night i had reached the place where it had to change, and the only way i can describe the surrender and the desperation i was in, i was standing on the cliff looking into the darkness, the unknown, this is what i was seeing within myself, and I literally jumped into the unknown surrendering to the source of life itself to become something else or die, I wanted more or i didnt want to continue living as a human identity, I spent a great deal of time, forcing myself to live in the moment of life in a conscious state of awareness in the months that followed and at some point during the next few months that followed a transition happened. I remember the moment and the feeling when i realized that i had become a being of consciousness, seeing life from the real me inside of this body, then i understood what a great teacher had told me once before, he used the chakras to explain the transition from the identity to the self, he told me that when i reached the third eye, there would be no teacher, no guide, no road map that could take me to the crown chakra, i didnt understand it then, but when the transition occurred for me, i knew then what he meant after having the experience. A good teacher can help you to the door, but you have to open that door and enter into the kingdom of your own being. This is all i can tell you about the part you are asking about. There were many years of work and experience that led up to this, which was part of an awakening, contemplating myself, my life, what i was doing, what i was gaining, why i was doing what i was doing, how it was affecting others, observing my own self, feelings, actions, thoughts, words, and the affect it was having on me an others, all of that brought me to the cliff that night, and i knew i had to fully surrender. The night i realized that i had transitioned, i had an experience, i saw myself climbing a mountain, and when i got to the top and looked over, the words of Martin Luther King came to my mind, Free at Last Free at last and it was a highly emotionally charged moment to know what had just happened. I hope this answers your question, its the best i can do at explaining it.
-
first of all you cant and arent going to hold me accountable for anything, you just think you are. Second I dont debate with egos. In both your emails all you have shown me is your arrogance and criticism, i dont have time for that kind of behavior. You may as well drop it and move on, I dont want to hear your nonsense and i wont respond to you again.
-
Trippy you are expressing the feelings of the human identity and its frustrations. Sit down, be still, and feel the source of life within yourself, experience it to the deepest level you can, do it often, dont think, just be with it, do nothing else. If you can and will do this, you will begin to change in a way you never imagined, but you have to do it, trust it, give it some time. As time passes there will be an awakening that happens within you. Dont follow doctrines and philosophies of people who have never experienced self realization, there are a few in this world who have, if they have made the transition they can help you, but it all hinges on you, and your desire to be the highest version of yourself, and the desire to be liberated from all the nonsensical things in this physical world that create pain and suffering. You can live this life and be happy and enjoy what you do with complete freedom from the consequences of functioning as the human identity with its ego and desires of the flesh. Your consciousness has begun to awaken this is why you feel what you do, dont fear it, embrace it, spend the time with the source of life within, it will take you the rest of the way.

I think this subject is rationalized by too many establishing too many doctrines and philosophies. I dont feel that I am nothing, to me that is nonsense, I as consciousness, created this body to play in, experience this physical dimension, Consciousness is the ground of all being, all things, all matter is the result of consciousness, consciousness is intelligent, powerful, source of all life, to say it is nothing is total nonsense, but i understand also that some say that to help humans realize that the body is just and extension of consciousness. Even your scientist today dont understand nor can define consciousness and the reason for that is they have not become self realized and are not experiencing consciousness on a level that they can understand it. Your body dies when consciousness leaves it, it comes to life when consciousness enters it, consciousness has been evolving for ages. You are the product of the evolution of the consciousness within. Consciousness has brought you to where you are and the little world around you that it has created. Consciousness became so attached to the human identity that it created that it came to believe that it was the identity, this resulted in a disassociation from its true state of being, but for some few consciousness begins to awaken and becomes self realized and retains its true state of being again, some will say that happens for everyone but they dont know that, it is merely speculation and philosophy, what we know for sure is a few awaken from the dream in any given generation, to go beyond that is nonsense and speculation. It takes the experience of self realization to understand this in a real way, otherwise it is just speculation, and hearsay. No one, no teaching, no teacher can take you to self realization, it is something that happens by you, and you alone. There is no path to lead you, there are only things that can help you become more aware of the process you have been going through and what you might experience through this. I remember many years ago, one night i stood in the darkness, saw myself standing on the edge of a cliff, looking into a void that i could not even see into, i became aware that to find what i was seeking i would have to take the leap, i jumped into that dark void, two years later my world had changed and so had I, it would never be the same again. Desire to know the reality of who and what you are and what life is about is the key to achieving self realization and liberation, without it, you go no where, just a dead end road of philosophies, doctrines, religions, and false teachers. Consciousness must awaken within you to this, if there is any desire there for this, do everything that you can to strengthen that desire and do it within in the space of your true being, because desire is the key to liberation.

this is what i have said over and over and over, experience the source of life within, be that, be still, be quiet, and be one with it, but telling that to most humans doesnt mean much, if you notice in the satsangs with mooji, few get it, they go listen, but when he talks with them they are not grasping the concept. This is why all these other teachings exist, to eventually lead humans into another state of awareness, You ask: Is the examining of thoughts and beliefs really necessary though? for most yes it is, it is part of the awakening process for the individual to see what has happened to them, most will never bypass that part of it, in fact i suspect mooji and most all other good teachers went through the same process. It is good that you can ask this question, it is good that you are at a place where you can ask this question, but can you do it, are you doing it, what has it gotten you thus far, is it only a thought now and a question, can you put it to use. Most who have become self realized spent many many years in the process seeking something that they didnt even understand, even though some teacher told them about liberation and self realization, it means nothing to the individual seeking until it happens, up until that point, they really dont understand what it is they are seeking, but observing themselves and the world around them, the actions and consequences can provide an incentive to keep moving forward in personal growth. It can keep the desire alive within the individual and desire is a key factor in waking from the dream. The real answer is to be still, be quiet, be the consciousness within, and function from that space of being, and the dream is over, but if you remember what even mooji and other teachers have said, only a handful will achieve this, so for the rest, the teachers put forth the effort to sow seeds in the seekers that might awaken them to the reality of who and what they really are.

you transcend it by becoming self realized functioning as a being of consciousness, rather than a human identity acting out through the ego and desires of the flesh creating consequences for yourself and everyone else. -
charlie2dogs replied to Eddie_the_Eggplant's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
your brain is a physical organ, the control center of your being is not the brain, the brain only functions because of consciousness, consciousness is the control center, the human body is the physical representation and creation of consciousness. -
charlie2dogs replied to reflectivist's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No method, no philosophy, no spiritual practice can make you become self realized, they just lead you around by the nose until your consciousness awakens enough to see the reality of itself and what it has become as the human identity. Once self realized you realize that none of this stuff is really needed at all, it just keeps you moving toward an objective of becoming more than a human being and discovering the realities of your consciousness and the identity body you created -
you are functioning solely as the human identity, caught up in the world of pleasures and desires, this will bring a great deal of pain and misery to you and everyone you become involved with, until you wake up and get a grip that life isn't all about a fat or skinny gal and having sex with them. Right now you may not see or feel the pain because of the ego, but in time it will catch up with you because all that you do is being recorded in your quantum memory, or rather taking root within your consciousness, it will revisit you and maybe many times before you are able to overcome what you have done to yourself and others.

you should have discovered by now that when you are calm and are in this stillness there are no problems, pain, sorrow, nothing is grasping at you, and you are not grasping at things in the world. It is from this place that life can only be lived in a fruitful constructive manner, without it becoming a rat race and a mess of consequences. You are young now enjoy this space of being, it is your saving grace as you age, it will save you a world of heartache and heartbreak. Enjoy this space of being that you feel this calmness in, and know that the majority of the world around you are not doing this and it is creating a mess for them. Experience this deeper and deeper, you will be a being of love, peace, joy, happiness, and what you do will be constructive without creating consequences that bring pain and misery. Be these things and you will be a light to those around you, they wont get it fully until they are there, but it will leave an impression and a mark on their consciousness, that may bring change for them at some point. -
stress comes from your reactions to the events that is occurring with and to your identity body. It is important to understand why this is happening. Is it just a reaction by the identity body or ego, or is it some deeper issue that is rooted in your consciousness, this is what first needs to be seen. Start observing the sensations that arise in the body when this begins, see how it grows within yourself until you are stressed. It is sort of like anger, before one gets angry there is a sensation that starts in the chest area, if one is sensitive to this feeling, you can stop anger before it grips you can creates consequences for your identity body. Taking the time to contemplate these events will help you to understand why it is happening. The main reason it happens is because you are functioning as the human identity, subject to all your programing, beliefs, and the way you have been taught to look at the world around you. One day my daughter and i went for a long walk, we went down this long hill, when we get to the bottom she begins to tell me about a problem she has going up and down hills, and i thought this is a good time to tell me at the bottom of a hill and that we would have to go back up one of two hills to get home. I made her understand that her thought process was causing this problem for her, and that when she felt the sensation starting to arise, to move her thought process from the problem to something that she loved, something beautiful and enjoyed in life, and put all her focus on it. When we got to the hill we had to climb she was ready and we started up, we stopped three times to rest, i talked to her all the way, kept her focusing on this thing she had picked that was important to her. When we got to the top she was very surprised that she had climbed that hill with any problem. Some things can be handled this way, some things need to be looked at on a deeper level, contemplated and understand it on that deeper level. Most people torture themselves with their own thought process in life and create a miserable life because of their thought process. When you realize this, you can begin to change the way you think if you are seeing this from a deeper level of your being. You are the product of your thought process and the evolution of your consciousness. The identity body with its ego and desires of the flesh cannot solve your issues, they must be resolved on a deeper level within consciousness, and then the changes will be reflected in your physical body. All sickness and disease is self created, it happens in the consciousness first because of the thought process and actions that is happening in the physical body, then the sickness and disease appears in the physical body. Begin to heal your issue within your consciousness and the body will change. So the solution to all of these things is this, experience the life force within yourself, which is the source of all things, on a deeper and deeper level of being, begin to observe life and your physical body from there, and everything will begin to change and you will be moving toward liberation from what has bound you in life. The mind is a garden, how is it tended determines whether it bears fruit, or thorns and briars.
