  1. @Patang In my experience, once you're awake you don't really see any "egos" out there like I used to before awakening. There is no longer a division/separation in any degree. It's all literally just Absolute, Infinite, and God. Sure, I have thoughts like these but they're just thoughts in duality, they quickly wither away. Everyone is God pretending not to be God. It's hard to tell if they're just joking around or not.
  2. @jjer94 I'm not disclaiming that any of these don't work, I know they do but I've noticed that the ego uses all of these methods to continuously perpetuate the illusion that there is someone to be freed. I know..this annoying advaita talk. It is reallll sneaky, and this may be the "last step" before awakening! You've got to continuously go meta when you're meditating, doing yoga, etc. Who is it that wants to meditate or be freed? Watch yourself like a hawk. With a calm concentrated and a diligent mind keep your awareness on the feeling of "I" til you've got it backed up in it's corner...and don't let it slip. Bottom line, stay with the feeling of "I" for as long as you can without getting lost in it's story. Trim the fat (stories, beliefs, ideas) of the "I", and get face to face with it. Watch it until it fades.
  3. @Haumea Yup, sounds like a dead person. Can't get any more no -freewill than that.
  4. "Five senses changed in five days, and on the sixth day I was lying down on a sofa - Valentine was there in the kitchen - and suddenly my body disappeared. There was no body there. I looked at my hand. (Crazy thing - you would certainly put me in the mental hospital.) I looked at it - "Is this my hand?" There was no questioning here, but the whole situation was like that - that is all I am describing. So I touched this body - nothing - I didn't feel there was anything there except the touch, you see, the point of contact. Then I called Valentine: "Do you see my body on this sofa? Nothing inside of me says that this is my body." She touched it - "This is your body." And yet that assurance didn't give me any comfort or satisfaction - "What is this funny business? My body is missing." My body had gone away, and it has never come back. The points of contact are all that is there for the body - nothing else is there for me - because the seeing is altogether independent of the sense of touch here. So it is not possible for me to create a complete image of my body even, because where there's no sense of touch there are missing points here in the consciousness." - U.G Krishnamurti He's got an interesting enlightenment. http://www.themiracletimes.com/Nov-03/UGK.htm
  5. @StephenK I think you certainly have less filters and if not none. You become mostly free from self consciousness and so you’re just expressing from point A to Z, without anything (stories) getting in the way.
  6. Love hearing about your trips. Make it to this if you can: https://www.medicina-ancestral-ecuador.com/
  7. Yes or otherway to look at it is that you can be 100% authentic cause there is no longer a you that you’ve got to preserve and protect.
  8. @Max_V The ego wants enlightenment, yet as it slowly moves towards it it realizes that it’s its demise. It still thinks enlightenment is something that will feel good to the ego or separate self haha. It’s a suicide mission. When you take an elevator up to the highest floor of the skyscraper you look down the window and say “oh god why did I go all the way up for this?” You jump! This is just an example, please don’t do this.
  9. @Ida Thanks, I will first figure out my vikruti and see where it goes from there.
  10. Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom, Blown on the steel breeze. Come on you target for faraway laughter, Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon. Shine on you crazy diamond. Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light. Shine on you crazy diamond. Well you wore out your welcome with random precision, Rode on the steel breeze. Come on you raver, you seer of visions, Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine! Pink Floyd
  11. If I let go will I pee my pants? If I let go how will I get up and move around to live in this world? To much surprise when letting go I am supported more immensely. It all just happens on its own accord without any thought of doership.
  12. @Arion Yeah, well, you can orgasm but don't lose semen!
  13. I have some experience with Vipassana and I think it’s a powerful technique. @PsiloPutty As soon as thoughts (any thoughts, thoughts are thoughts) arise, just come back ri the sensations on your body. If you can’t feel any sensations, start with 10min Anapana (focus on sensations of breath). Don’t give it any thought when to stop and feel sensations, just do it. The point is to eventually feel the sutlest of the most sutle sensations pervasing your entire body with no cravings or aversions to pleasant or unpleasant sensations. ALL sensations are impermanent, so why cling to them right? We suffer most of the time cause we cling to good feelings and avert the bad, and like this we go back and forth, back and forth causing an aggitated mind. As for posture and back pain what helped me was getting in touch with the subtle sensations on your body. That means your minds got to be still and sharp. Whenever I observe my back pain and go deep into it, it’s just vibrations and when I stay there will attentive awareness it goes away everytime.
  14. What started my search: It was my first mushroom trip at a cabin under the clear sky displaying the milky way ? What ended it and gave it a strong blow: kundalini what’s interesting after awakening is the vividness of dreams. Since waking up from waking dream, sleep dreams almost feel like they’ve become equal to or slight less in the level of switching between “realities.” Been getting lots of dreams with a particular storyline that has been suppressed in my subconscious prior to awakening. For example, as I was a sincere spiritual seeker I’ve lost a lot of old close friends because of the sense of “I’m doing something more important and better.” So now dreams are of having fun with my old friends laughing and playing with a sense of no division whatsoever. The preferences still stay but all criticisms and judgments melt away. Last night I had a dream of being on an airplane flying over these green beautiful mountains when suddenly it starts to jolt and descend. It felt so real and there was fear, although somehow I felt detached and knew it would be alright. The plane was descending with such acceleration that you couldn’t really get into position or hug your loved ones. It was almost too quiet. The intercoms went on and the captain says “I love you all, it will be ok.” I felt the butterflies and all the emotions during the descent. Upon impact, I awoke. I saw this as a full surrendering of my own death. Becoming one with the Source with no fear and just good strong Faith. Haha kinda random but I had to share.
  15. @Nahm Hmm, like if reality was not eternal it would be all shaky, agitated, and all over the place, kinda like the mind which of course isn't eternal. If there aren't any cravings, aversions, but only ultimate contentment, what is that but stillness and eternity. Resting in "I Am" without attachment to any afterthought.
  16. I suppose only when you wake up. It's when let's say I could jump off this cliff, there isn't much fear but I still won't do it. The significance of death is no longer even an option in your mind.
  17. @Shin Yer fucked! Seek til you can’t take it anymore.
  18. You know that moment after waking from a reallllyy good night’s rest. That brief few seconds where you don’t know who you are, what you look like, who are friends are, who your parents are, what life is supposed to lool like...then it all comes back and it hits you like a train.
  19. @snowleopard haha yeah it’s just reality. No more. Like when you’re playing a recorder and it goes and goes and Thinking that you’re pausing the video or editing it is actually still part of the video playing itself. It can’t edit or pause itself. There are no beginnings and endings to anything.
  20. Being Awake vs. story/dream identification are like day and night. You can’t miss it.
  21. Upon realization, one looks back and wonders how and why does the seeker even come to exist? For Truth? Only to realize that once the seeking has stopped, that was liberation. To realize who and what you are. Prior to this the 4 or + years of seeking just seemed like a bad dream, yet felt so solid and real. It becomes a bad joke and there is nothing to do but laugh! But of course, PARADOXICALLY much hard seeking and yearning is needed in the beginning. To the "awakened" state, seeking just seems like a bad joke, but to a seeker, it's either life or death, a deep deep yearning. <- This deep yearning can confuse the "awakened" state, as like "for realz dude?" (This is not a disclaimer for seekers to give up there search, but at the same time it does!) I'm so confused about this and that's why I'm making a post about it!!!! HAHAHAH! Enlightenment is just a concept that the ego attaches to as something solid or an attachment one could acquire. But it's just giving up the pretense of becoming anything. This probably doesn't make any sense to a seeker. I am not saying I'm the slightest awake or my ego is just tricking me but for once in my life of 4+ years of meditation, I have no desire to meditate or look into spiritual teachings. Now reading or watching videos of teachers talking about enlightenment is just the most obvious thing ever. I don't know if this is the side effect of awakening but for the first time it just clicks and there's this deep knowing of the obvious.
  22. Martin’s movements when surrenderred look similar to Kundalini symptoms. This dude just transformed into a serpeant lol.
