  1. Interesting video, so important to keep our legs moving and not sitting for a long duration throughout our day as it cuts alot of circulation from our hips and thighs.
  2. @Charlotte Incredible stuff right? This Work (4 Questions & Turnaround) by Katie shows us that nothing external can be the cause of our misery. Only our attachment to an opinion keeps us from clearly seeing reality. Ahh talk about taking 100% responsibility for our happiness. "Who would you be without the thought, ___ ?"
  3. @hirax Do you enjoy being with yourself? What do you like about yourself? What are some things you really like about yourself? Dear, you have this beautiful gift you want to share with someone else, but have you ever thought that because of you being sad like this no men want to be around you. If men knew that you wouldn't get upset regardless of a relationship or not that will put you in a more desirable place. Love your life as it is, and with that it will be contagious for other men. This can't be faked.
  4. @Big_D Well it wasn't until highschool where I truly grasped the infiniteness of our cosmos and how no one knew exactly where we were or what we were doing here. When you're so sucked into mainstream culture, society, or whatever that keeps you away from Being you become absorbed with the mind's activity of ego, self image, and stories. People are just stuck in their everyday normal matrix of reality. A bit of psychedelics can help with that but it may not be what the person may want to see especially if they cling to their "reality"; bad trip.
  5. @Emerald Emerald, I have just discovered Byron Katie's The Work through Leo's book list and it has been doing wonders for my attachments to the past. Have you heard of it? "Ask the Four Questions The Work is meditation. It’s about opening to your heart, not about trying to change your thoughts. Ask the questions, then go inside and wait for the deeper answers to surface. 1) Is it true? (Yes or no. If no, move to 3.) 2) Can you absolutely know that it's true? (Yes or no.) 3) How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought? 4) Who would you be without the thought? Then Turn it around. This is the good part http://www.cultureunplugged.com/play/8813/Prison-of-the-Mind This is her demonstrating The Work (self inquiry) to prison inmates. You can also find alot of one on one sessions on youtube. Best!
  6. @LRyan Here is a video of her doing the work on prison inmates. Great stuff but the truth can be a tough pill to swallow. Enjoy my friend! http://www.cultureunplugged.com/play/8813/Prison-of-the-Mind
  7. I'd highly recommend the audiobook Loving What Is By Byron Katie!
  8. Do we week long camping trip or a 10 day vipassana retreat with no electronics. It may just be old habits that need some tuning. Don't be too hard on yourself. The outer will adjust according to your inner sooner or later.
  9. @0ne You were never born and you shall never die. Figure that out and will find the eternal peace you are looking for. You think of yourself as this separate mind/body individual and that in itself is why you suffer. You are truly limiting yourself with merely misidentification. Just stay on the path and in a few years when you look back and this moment you will notice that you're in a better place, but course if you're dissolving layer. If not, than you're not looking inside enough, not enough inquiry and mystical experiences.
  10. So I just had this incredible experience I've once had before but this time it was in longer duration (2 mins). I don't think it was a sleep paralysis because it was clear that I was able to move my body. It was also quite enjoyable. Upon falling into deep sleep I had an indescribable dream/sensations of vertigo, morphing inside out and back outside in continuously, like being blended alive. As soon as I woke up from this dream/sensation in the middle of the night first of all I noticed my mental state. It was undeniably sharp, awake, alive, and impossibly alert at such an hour as if I've just woke up from a month long nap, or on some high energy enhancement drug ..... all at the same time still feeling as if I'm in a dream. My body had an encompassing energy feel to it. Subtle vibrations surrounding my whole body. Feelings of lightness, coolness, and restfulness. I could feel the subtle coolness on my forehead, the warmth beneath the sheets. The little sensations I get after long sessions of meditation. It was a state of bliss, non-attachment, and non-knowing. Looking around the room was quite confusing with a hint of terror. Although my mind was sharp and alert, there was a shift in perspective. I looked at the ceiling fan and I said to myself "what in the world is that?," looked at my hand "what the heck is going on?" I was able to label such things as ceiling fan, hand, or blanket, however, there was a shift in perspective and I didn't know what any of these were for, for a minute, or why they were here or still yet why anything was here including myself. Just a state of utter confusion as if I've just been born at that exact moment. Please keep in mind, my mind was incredibly clear and awake, even more so than as I type this or as I've ever been in my last 20+ years.. Anyone else have similar experiences? Not talking about sleep paralysis here, I've had them too but different.
  11. @mp22 Yeah, you'll get people from all different walks of life. I just see it as upmost respect. Probably the same for MLK, Ghandi, JFK, John Lennon, The Beatles. Shit, I'd probably do the same if I had come across Ramana Maharshi, I'd kiss his feet lol
  12. @Whywolf Hey try out Ashwagandha Root. It helped me alot with this problem during my dark night, and I can say that after a few weeks of taking one a day I am free from it now and no longer need to take any supplements.
  13. The Hero's journey my friend. You can't take anyone with you. They have to figure it out for themselves eventually but in the meantime don't lose track. Be the friend you would want to meet someday, and one day you will meet them.
  14. @AndreiC I recommend the audiobook for this one. ? I have it on my audiobook account. PM me if you would like a download.
  15. Just being able to attempt to think about infinity as this apparent finite self. The wave trying to be it's ocean. Infinity makes me feel sick
  16. Martin is working on a new book. Just a heads up.
  17. @Laisa Oh yeah some of his patients can see a line going down that splits symmetrically. Nice, that is on my list as well. Yeah Universo Paralelo will be in Oregon Eclipse so we'll get a taste of them! Excited, I'm sure they've got new flavors. A psy culture movie hmmm interesting, any good? It's still scary for me too haha, it's kinda supposed to be. Feeling of existential thrill with high energy. Yeah it suits people going through the dark night very well! LOL! That makes sense how and why I got into it in the first place, thanks it just clicked.
  18. @Extreme Z7 There is! Well kinda! Watch the film "Way of the Peaceful Warrior", or better yet the book!
  19. @SLICKHAWK Can you explain what happened?
  20. @username Keep at it! I can see you're very active on the forum. Are you familiar with Martin Ball's body symmetry energetic therapy? He's the other 5Meo shaman you might want to look into. Leo has an interview with him I'm sure you've watched. Sit back relax and enjoy. He has such interesting sessions with his patients. Little long but it's sooo juicyy!
  21. @username oh no I knew about 5Meo before I met him but I'd never thought I'd had the opportunity to try it. Hahah oh yeah I know exactly which one you're talking about. I've seen in person of how others can struggle when taking a full dose of this stuff, only because they have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Leo is totally right when he says people who do not study nondualtiy, ego, spirituality, Consciousness/God, etc. will have a more difficult time handling such an experience; although, once in awhile I've seen regular looking people who have no knowledge of such things have a better trip than those that may look more "spiritual" which is kinda funny. It's not like a DMT trip. Yes, I'd love to die again and realize my true nature and be one with God. Although we are already. I want to rememeber it again. I think I'm ready to strap in. Are you?
