  1. That is creepy, do you have a link to an article or paper for this experiment? It would seem to me that it confirms solipsism because if we all do share our experience, weird stuff like that shouldn't happen.
  2. Thanks for clearing that one up. No, I am not going to go and buy a rolling coal truck or stop my positive contributions. I've just been feeling extremely nihilistic over the past few months with all the studies of nonduality I've been doing. I have also been getting trapped in solipsistic delusions, which I hope are delusions.
  3. From my perspective just now, I love the environment and do all I can to reduce my impact. As people go further up the spiral into the higher stages, I fear that the environment will not get the care it needs due to the everything is perfect perspective and people will just do as they please, like they do now.

  5. So from my perspective I will be dead but my body will continue on normally until it dies physically?
  6. That's good because the chances of me getting sex are extremely small. Transcend the need and there's no problem.
  7. So the practice of mindful dying must be applied.
  8. I have always wondered how monks overcome the blue balls syndrome. Maybe someone can answer?
  9. By not approaching women, you can help yourself to suffer much less.
  10. I think cameras prove the existence of an outside world. They aren't even alive and yet they can still see. That would suggest to me that there might be an outside world but the outside world is fundamentally consciousness based. That fits in with atoms and molecules being less and less like matter the more scientists deconstruct them.
  11. I understand all of this mostly conceptually which isn't ideal. Going by Rupert Spira's teachings I am actually enlightened but no, I don't think so. He tries to mainstream enlightenment but there is deeper to go.
  12. Take Conrad's advice and don't look too deeply into it on a conceptual level. People have went insane over it and some have even killed themselves. Just continue meditation, self inquiry and any others that work for you.
  13. The difference with the sleeping dream is that the other characters in it are not having their own experience but in the waking state, they are. That's what Rupert Spira says about it anyway.
  14. Sleep never really begins or ends because consciousness always is. Deep sleep is just awareness without objects. @seeking_brilliance Leo said in one of his videos that it's a matrix within a matrix for infinity.
  15. In the waking state, I go to bed and then a dream begins. I don't go to bed in my wacky fucked up dream and wake up to normal life, the dream just ends. In the dream state I am almost never aware of being aware like I am in the waking state. If I fall off a cliff in the dream, I wake up unharmed. Could you please talk about your false awakenings? They might be helpful.
  16. Exactly, unless on the rare occasion I become lucid. @Robi Steel Yes, I know the laws of physics are just humans trying to describe how the dream works. I still just don't understand why dreams behave so differently from the so called waking state.
  17. If she is so judgemental of others then it may be time to reevaluate who your friends are. Basing happiness and success solely on appearance and amount of money is absurd.
  18. My terror of becoming one with god is really holding me back, the mindfuck may be too much to cope with and I might go psychotic. I have wanted to try 5 meo but I think there is some paradox in there. From the perspective of the person taking the substance, they never come back to their life and are stuck for eternity. From the perspective of anyone observing the person, they do come back.
  19. @Leo Gura I read today in one of Rupert Spiras books, "Enlightenment or awakening is not a particular experience or state of mind that may be achieved by practising hard enough or meditating long enough. It is the recognition of the very nature of the mind." Do you think that Rupert doesn't realise that there is far deeper to go and is perhaps at stage green or yellow?
  20. It's not entirely away and I think a small amount of mushrooms or a breakthrough in meditation is the only way to fix this. The problem with mushrooms is all the terrifying visual shit that comes up and in some cases there is a feeling of total meaninglessness after the trip is over. I have never tried any large amount of any psychedelic apart from a sub breakthrough dose of DMT which hit me hard and showed me nothing but fear and perfect beautiful patterns.
  21. Life can't actually have a purpose as a purpose would already have to be in manifestation before the creation. The godhead transcends purpose, time and any other concept you can come up with. That's how I understand it.
