@electroBeam There is also difference between knowing stuff and understanding it.
-
@Star Net I also recommend the book Vegan for Life as it is backed up by scientific studies though I do not know how hard it is to get it where you live.
-
@electroBeam It is not really possible anymore because of the amount of knowledge out there you can have a nice overview of a topic but you will never be an expert in more than one or maybe two fields. People might try to tell you different things here but specialisation is must in this world because we are no longer in renessaince.
-
@Michael569 +1 Basically agree with all the points, this is what being vegan looks like you can get used to the new ways easily I think, some people will not like the change in you but that will always happen.
-
@Elisabeth Ctrl+Z should solve that so that you do not lose what you wrote.
-
@SuperLuigi find what really causes it and solve the issue, if you are vegan correctly than you should have no problems.
-
@JKG Whoa! Back in with a journal, nice
-
@Thanatos13 Perhaps this will heighten your spirits (btw. nice discussion here, love to watch this stuff ):

@onacloudynight Don't worry . Check out Life Below Zero, that is series from National Geographic that Leo linked to about a week or two back. -

@onacloudynight Well unless your question is a joke (if it is, it is a great one), your questions are basically hopeless. Really? Are you serious, this would take way more dedication for it to work than just asking this on a forum, I am sorry if this sounds rude but why exactly cave why not like a cabin from which you would go shopping once a week in a small village? You see, this is like asking: "how do I live my life when I have no clue?". Because I do not want to just bash you down, you could probably research something about survival in the wilderness and talk with people that did similar things, how many people do you think are here that lived in a cave? Yup, bugs will be there! That is for sure, spiders and whatnot. -
@MisterMan Maybe it is just a healthy criticism, we might benefit from more of that.
-
Well that is also because science already did so much work that you need huge teams of scientists to continue just a little bit and only the best of the best of the best (and luckiest) will get the correct idea that needs to be tested aka number crunched.

@Mighty Mouse Ok,good point. Yes but it is game where you alone either lose or you alone win and it is your decision only. Yes and I was adding my thoughts as to support his decision and maybe bring something new here.
-
@Deep Interesting, thanks for the answer.

@Staples +1 @blazed +1 Most people did not even know what "materialistic paradigm" is before Leo shot episode on it. If you start to censore others you will lose and just close yourself in this bubble that you call spirituality, I guess that is how cults are created. I bet many people would be done with this community if it became even more toxic via censorship.

Can you give an example?
-
@Charlotte It is called bystander effect. When there are more people who could help somebody they do not feel such an urge to do anything because they do not have all of the responsibility. I do not think that people can really know that they will be immune to the effect unless they get into a situation like you, now you are the one who took the responsibility, @Charlotte , people like you are great. Keep on being awesome and brave!

@Mighty Mouse I am curious what you meant with your post what does Forum Jed mean? I do not understand what "shit" you mean. @AleksM I do not think you should share information if you are not taking the time to investigate it properly and it does not matter if you are just sharing evidence if its false, that leads to misinformation which is what I am talking about the whole time. -
Dragallur replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I do not think so. What if one perspective is that ufos exist and the other is that they do not? How are you supposed to confirm both of them and shift between them? They seem rather contradictory and if one of them is true then the other one is false. -
Dragallur replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AleksM False information? C'mon! For example if you thought that some mushroom was edible and then when you ate it you would get sick and die - I call that dangerous. Of course believing in aliens won't kill you but it is the step towards hatred of authority, other conspiracy theories and such. It might end with aliens but if the belief is false why hold it? Why share the evidence and misguide somebody? -
Dragallur replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Good point but what I quoted from the source was not anout expertise it was common stuff that I did not realise and needed to look up on the net. Actually I learned from conspiracy theories also quite a lot like not being angry on the people and being able to correspond to them compassionately and even more... the point I am trying to make is that Aleks made a mistake and since anybody could take it up and take it for truth I will do my best to stop the misinformation. It is good to be open minded but false information is still dangerous. -
Dragallur replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It was a bad evidence because it was based on misinterpretation of an artwork. -
Dragallur replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@LaucherJunge Well I never said that all the other are also false.. And anyway I wrote down also general guidelines for why this is so tricky. But when he shares come evidence which turns out to be false how do I know if I can trust the rest? The thing is that the exact same thing happened with the water experiment and I am starting to see a trend here. Also noone will ever be able to check all the things that could be evidence, there are thousands of pictures of "ufos" that you cannot vheck and that is why you should use your common sense. In the article that I linked as a source were more of those pictures debunked, not sure if the same ones as Alex posted. -
Dragallur replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AleksM So here we go, with a bit of time to spare lets look on the first picture that you picked from some ufology website. Once again people who probably did not understand the topic looked into some pictures and what seems like flying saucer was picked by them completely ignoring that maybe the artists meant something else or that maybe they just drew not so normally something completely common like... wait for it... clouds. And this is quite likely the case here because other artists also drew clouds like that. Also it is very interesting how these findings emerged after sci-fi boom the last century. Also why would aliens be flying on a pancake but that is completely different story. Source: https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ufoart/esp_ovnis_arte_9.htm Ok now lets stop here for a second and think it through a little, you have obviously made a mistakr with the water experiment and now is this, I recommend you to check your research better. It is fine if you are wrong but you should take a lesson from that and try your best so that it does not happen again especially if you decide to send it on the internet.
