  1. This is math rape. Infinity - infinity is undefined.
  2. @Dodo You mean "small light spot" --> Is aliens, yeah that sounds like a great evidence.
  3. @abrakamowse I do not know if it is a joke, but inane actually is an existing word... (just sayin)
  4. @Dino D Yeah I would like to see that too. From personal experience, I can relate to these "ehh... non-dual things": Determinism No idea where thoughts come from Consciousness is quite weird (and I have neat theories on why it exists) Some form of solipsism seems about the end of what real "truth" I can access to So I see that you like to criticise this stuff too, have you done meditation and can you relate to some of these things?
  5. @Dino D See this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1/2_%2B_1/4_%2B_1/8_%2B_1/16_%2B_⋯
  6. If you split something into small pieces it does not become bigger (or do I misunderstand your analogy). Otherwise great post I think you are asking the exact right questions and I am at the same point as you are. There is this phrase "Absolute Infinity" that started to appear not long ago. Now it is just everywhere thrown around without any context. So far it seems like basically, only Leo experienced and it was via psychedelics. It would be dumb to just believe all of this, it seems to me only like rhetorics and I do not want to risk believing something and then it happening as an illusion only because I did.
  7. This sounds great, thanks for sharing.
  8. @Leo Gura Maybe not, it just depends on how rare life is. Plus the measurement is not just some measurement.
  9. Stop trying to do what you "fell out from" and solve these things, be loving to yourself, watch a movie and eat a sweet food with the intention to regain energy and love.
  10. @frnshIt is called lucid dreaming, you can train yourself to become better.
  11. Good for you, fewer things to worry about if you want to fight the insecurity, actually I really recommend this video:
  12. @Charlotte Do you wear makeup to hide your insecurity?
  13. @Ibn Sina Well written. +1
  14. @roberthenry It is simply deadly because people have to die because of something and western medical care is so good that we are alive for a really long time. Unless we come up with something groundbreaking we will just get a few more years here and there before another illness appears. Other than these thoughts personally I don't know much about it though of course there is a lot of research going into it.
  15. @Edvard well of course it depends on what values you have. Yes suffering is not bad or good and it does not matter if we nuke the whole Earth, for veganism to be the right way you have to share certain values. Also it is not just about morality it is also about ecology which everybody keeps forgetting.
  16. @Socrates Upvote but I think @jjer94 is pointing to something very funny! It is always very easy to make excuses as to why not be vegan but with our current understanding, it seems like the most logical step to take and there are certainly many people here who made the transition though I am a bit surprised that Leo did not.
  17. @ppfeiff Actually Leo's video is not the best share ever for the reason's why not to eat something since Leo did not cite a single source.
  18. +1 people here should remember this, there are so many videos about anything that can "prove" any point of view.
  19. @Key Elements Good point, from my point I still have time before I need to do that and it would be risky for me to burn brudges before I have no need of them, like if I suddenly need to get normal job somewhere, that is why I was warning everybody, once you do it you can not go back.
  20. @egoeimai First of all, why did not you start yourself, second of all, I would not recommend people to do it. If this page gets connected to your name it could effect let's say, you trying to get a job or something.
  21. There is a difference between not wanting to be eaten and feeling pain. Plants don't have neurons.
  22. Well if you go the morality route there is a part you forgot, animals feel pain while rocks and plants don't because they do not have a nervous system.
  23. @SirVladimir Test substances with kits, unless you are chemist, it is probably not such a good idea I think.
