  1. i'm finding the self-actualization process to be overwhelming. There's so much I want to do that i'm having trouble finding the balance of how much is too much. I welcome any advice about how other people find the balance.
  2. Thank you for sharing the video. I found it helpful.
  3. Oops, I meant affirmations, not mantras.
  4. I typically exercise in the morning and meditate in the evening. However, I've found I have been slacking following through on meditating consistently since it's not until the evening. I think I would stick to it more if I meditated in the morning. I'm wondering though, is it ok to meditate and exercise back to back? If I meditate before exercising will I ruin the calm feeling that you feel after meditating, or if I exercise first will I ruin the feeling of being energetic by meditating after? I hope I explained that well enough to make sense.
  5. Is there such a thing as reciting *too* many mantras per day? Right now I do five and that is five minutes each.
  6. Hello everyone! I'm new here and this is my first time posting. Hopefully this is the correct section to post this in. I struggle with being too dependent on outcome. Lately I have been having plans getting canceled last minute and I noticed I am having this roller coaster ride of emotions...from excited anticipating the plans to disappointment, sadness, anger, frustration when they got canceled. One thing I'm starting to do, which I think is good, is actually *feeling* the emotions after I find out plans got canceled, instead of just suppressing them and pretending I was ok or it wasn't a big deal. It would be nice to get to the point where I don't flip out if plans get canceled, though. What has been helpful to you with becoming more outcome independent?
