It doesn't matter what role you identify yourself with, it's still identification. Although you were sarcastic, @Old Soul, you were still right about the purpose of life: to enjoy it. But the thing is that I couldn't really enjoy it until I knew who I was.

@Old Soul you have to realize that you are identifying yourself with someone who does the hard work. This is exactly what the ego is. Identification. You see it, don't you?

You are right. I took 5meo because I wanted the experience as soon as possible. But if you have enough years and commitment, probably you can have the same experience with meditation. It just wasn't logical for me to work on my mindfulness, and do meditations for years just to realize what's always already here.

It's very hard to get caught You have to be stupid and tell everybody about his substance to get caught. (Like I do )

I don't know if the usual non-dualism teachings can get you to the Infinity experience, but Bentinho promises it as well. But I am not there yet in the course. I get my Infinity experiences with another method.

I can motivate you towards only one thing: try 5meo. You can meditate and have your little insights here and there, but I don't think that anyone can have a full Infinity moment with meditation in reasonable time.

The experience I'm talking about is pretty drastic and intense and unimaginable. Rupert Spira for example says that becoming enlightened is only an "Aha" realization, a recognition. But what I am talking about is like getting shot by a lightning. Maybe you can get shot by a lightning with meditation, but you will probably need years of meditation. Some people meditate for their entire life and don't get shot by this lightning. I don't really understand why you don't like the idea of trying drugs. If you accept that everything is God, then why would a drug be less then God? If it's easier for you, you can look at it as God's medicine.

If you want to improve your person (there is nothing wrong with that), then friends can help, and you will have a beautiful, wise person, and you will have an interesting life and so on... However, I don't know about your friends, but my friends cannot give me an energetic shock therapy. :)) And this is what needed to experience the fundamental nature of reality which is Infinity/God itself. This is where 5meo comes into the picture. If you want to experience reality as it is, then the only thing that can help is infinite amount of energy poured into your body.

@Khin The video you watched was about Self Empowerment. And he was right, there is nothing wrong with greediness. If you feel offended by that, that's because you believe that lack exists. But the idea of lack goes against the infinite nature of reality. If you cannot accept Infinity, then you don't want to be enlightened. And that's perfectly fine too. I'm not talking about greediness that takes from others. I am talking about accepting the gifts of the infinite source. And if you pay attention, this is also what Bentinho talks about. By the way, Bentinho's Self-Empowerment teachings are not the same as his Self-Realization courses.

Getting in sync with reality is the same as easing into reality. In other words, realizing that you are already reality. All of the here and now. You can be aware of more and more things, this is useful for the person. You can improve the person, there is nothing wrong with that. But if you want to be in sync with reality, if you want to live in truth, you have to realize, that you are already reality. You are already your full reality, doesn't matter how extracted or contracted it is. And reality is the same as awareness. Both are all what already is and what is happening right here, right now. Including thoughts, emotions, everything!

Are you saying that desires are not part of reality? :)) The method of dropping things that you think you are or have is useful to relax. After you drop everything, you realize, that you are only awareness. But the plot twist is that awareness is everything what is and what's happening, including desires.

Bentinho has different teachings depending on what you are interested in. If you want awareness, you will get that in a full dose!

:)) If you know, that something happens, then you are aware of it. If you know, that you are walking to the bus stop, then you are aware of it. If you are so deeply submerged in your thoughts that you don't know what's happening around you, then all you know is thoughts, but you are perfectly aware of your thoughts. You see, awareness is always there, you cannot do anything to maintain it. Awareness is simply your reality in the here and now. And you are all of it! Look forward to the moment when you lose all your awareness, because that's the moment when your reality becomes Nothingness itself. That is an enlightenment experience!

For long I felt like awareness is an entity which I am, and which is aware, and that I had to focus on awareness to raise my consciousness. :)) I was soo wrong. I don't know if you are in the same trap right now. Awareness is the most effortless "activity" that exists. Awareness is simply what is happening from your perspective in the here and now. It cannot be more effortless than this. Awareness is simply everything what is happening! And you are awareness, so you are everything what is happening and what already is! You cannot lose awareness once you realize this. How could you lose what is happening? :))

If you know it, then why do you need friends? :)) So they can tell you that "Yes, you are on the right path, we like that you are so spiritual, and we respect your desire for enlightenment."? Don't you see that every individual is just an ego? Your friends are egos who strengthen your spiritual ego. Egos are just God's imagination. Every individual is just an individual imagination. Including me! There is only One who is imagining all this. Don't you want to see that?! I mean it's fun for me to talk with people, and play my role as an individual, but it doesn't help. Only an energetic shock helps to experience Infinity. This is what the 5-MeO gives you.

What can be greater wisdom then knowing that everything is one, everything is you? I'm not saying that everything is your distant relative. I'm telling you that everything is as you as your own thoughts! You see the diversity of things everyday. If you once realize that it's all just a play, all just illusion and it's YOUR illusion and YOUR play, then how can it be taken seriously? Please, tell me this "huge wisdom" in the illusion!

After reading this thread, I think everybody will come to the same realization while coming back from a 5-MeO trip. I wonder why nobody posted a trip report like this before.

How can you hurt anything if you realize that you are everything? What could be the purpose of doing harm, if you know, that nothing is real?

I don't know how to relate to drama anymore. It just doesn't matter. Nothing matters. Everybody can die in the next second, and it just doesn't matter. People could think "How can you say something like that? You have no sympathy at all!". But the whole existence is just God's funny imagination, there is nothing serious about it. Yes, you can feel pain, you can suffer, but there is no such thing as unbearable pain. Pain and suffering are nothing compared to the Infinity what we all are.

@John Flores Who are you? What is the essence of your being? If you think that your essence is less then Infinity, then you are deluding yourself. If you think that your essence is Infinity itself, God itself, then you know that you cannot be harmed by anything. Suffering cannot touch you. You are infinite for God's sake!

You're just playing "poor little me". Come off it! This is not who you are.
