Well, before you told us your age, I also considered myself "pretty damn young". :)) -

So, you're legal, huh? Just kidding. :)) You had an enlightenment experience at the age of 18. I think you're the most interesting creature on this forum. -

It requires a lot of courage to become God, to become One. You tried to surrender, but surrender in itself is a pretty vague word. What do you surrender and what do you surrender to? My feeling is that you tried to surrender only to escape hell. It is not really surrendering, it is fleeing. Surrender is not really the ideal mindset when you want to experience Oneness. Who do you surrender to when you are the only thing that exists? In your mind there was "little me" and the "huge evil Hell". Even if you are able to surrender to hell, you don't become one with it, you just become the accepting victim of it. So we see that surrender is a dead end. Let's try a different approach. Instead of the method of surrender let's use the method of courage. You don't want surrender to hell, you want to have the courage to become one with it. So your mantra should not be "Surrender", your mantra should be "Bring it on! " and pull Hell inside your hearth. Now your question could be "How do I muster this kind of courage?" And my answer is that you don't muster it. Infinite amount of courage is already available for you, you just have to let go of fear and resistance. Do you feel like if you don't resist hell you might die? Oh, yes, you will. You will definitely die. See, 5meo is not for the ego that fights for its life. If you take 5meo you have to be the God that is looking forward to death, because death is only a part of God's infinite being. As you see, you have to be crazy. You have to be willing to die, if you want to experience Infinity in all its glory. And if you want to develop this high level of craziness, you have to let go of fear and resistance. -

I'm happy for you. Welcome to the club. Notify me when you have a method for going back to the experience. -
@Scholar your intellect is amazingly high. I love reading your posts. And again, I think you might be right. I personally don't really care about Truth or enlightenment. But I love how meditative states feel like. I love how 5meo feels like. I love how Oneness feels like. I love how Love feels like. If I can be in ecstasy, why would I care if it's real or not? When I am infinite, it doesn't feel like I am inside my mind, it feels like I am infinite. When one wants to feel Infinity then the thought that says "it's all just inside the mind" is a blockage. So one has to release this thought to truly experience Infinity in all its glory. So to summarize: I don't use beliefs to define the Truth, I drop beliefs to feel ecstasy.

I like this expression. Old fat men sitting in their armchairs smoking their pipes being delusionally skeptic. -

This is an interesting conversation. Let's play a bit with these thoughts. So let's say that I am Carla and I say to my self: "I understand that everything is one and I can explain it to others the most beautiful way. I understand that what I do to others I do to myself, because there is no fundamental difference between other-selves and myself. Therefore I want to help and serve others. However, I won't write a book about it to help others to evolve and learn. No, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna lie everybody that I channeled information. And instead of explaining my understandings the most direct way I'm gonna spend months on making up a whole story about the human history and aliens and dimensions and planets and all kind of stuff. And I'm gonna do it to get money and fame. Because all is one." This is ridiculous. -

See, that's the thing. Cheating is not compatible with the understanding presented in this book, I could not cheat in this scale. I would choose the "boring life" a hundred times. -

Maybe you're right. All I'm saying is that it is interesting. -

@OBEler do you really think that someone with such a deep understanding is capable to do this scam? I mean, this book radiates the understanding that everything is one. If the channeling was fake then the author of this book has the most interesting personality that I have ever heard of. If this was a fake, then this is far more interesting than anything that is written in the book. -

@Shin, thank you, this was exactly the video I needed right now. -
This is how Non-duality should be taught to programmers.

:)) I think, this is the best Programming - Non-duality joke I have ever heard! Or the only one.

Next time I'll go into this meditative state in debug mode.

@Scholar I think you are right. Thank you for your post, it's very interesting. In my opinion the thought that "awareness is inside the head" is a belief. "Awareness is the creator of everything that exists" is a belief. "All is one" is a belief. "There is something outside of mind" is a belief. Every possible "Truth" is a belief. Even my sentences about beliefs can represent beliefs, or meta beliefs, if you like. So what would be your path towards the Truth? How do you get outside of beliefs, outside of mind?

Sometimes my temples pulsate and hurt from meditation, but it feels good for me as well. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I also listen to binaural beats.
-
I want to experience this as well. What is your meditation technique? How could I reach this state?
-
:)) You don't have to go to those extremes. Simply you can do surrender in everyday life. When it's not necessary to think, drop your thoughts. It really feels like dropping something because your mind "holds" that thought. So when you drop it, your mind relaxes. And it's the same with emotions, just drop them and your body relaxes. You can exercise these droppings in a longer meditation as well. When you drop something, you are not attached to it anymore, and if you have the skill to detach, you can go to infinity. And when there is a blockage that doesn't allow you to drop something then you can drop the blockage. And you drop the blockage as many times as it takes you to be able to drop the actual thing that you wasn't able to drop before because of the blockage. Does it make sense to you? And the best thing in it that it's not hard at all. On the contrary, it's relaxing to your mind and body.

You are right. Not everybody is ready for it, but everybody could have the motivation to prepare for it. I think that's what I meant when I typed the post. And by preparation I mean only the cultivation of the skill of letting go. If I am on level two and you are on level three it doesn't make any difference compared to infinity.

Interesting question, I don't know. If I hadn't done it I would think that even humans weren't able to experience it. The human body is the prism. If we look outside we see the colors. If we look inside we see the white light. I don't know if other creatures are designed to look inside.

It's nice of you @John Flores, but I am not enlightened. I think enlightenment is integrating the "God experiences" into the everyday life. I had some Infinity experiences on 5-meo, but I am far from integrating it. I just try to love you, and everybody on this forum and all the people in everyday life. All of you on this forum make it easy for me to love you, and I am very grateful for that. -
There are no objects on the peak of the trip. There are no concepts. No language. No thoughts. I don't think that "Oh, I am infinite". On the peak only infinity exists and I don't have thoughts about it. Infinity has no qualities because there is nothing else to compare it with, everything is included in infinity. That's why it's called Absolute Infinity, because it is absolutely the only thing that exists. If I oversimplify it, it is similar to the light before it goes through a prism. We are on one side of the prism where we see the the objects which are like the diversity of colors. The colors (objects) are like the "distortions" of the white light. But if we go through the prism, at the other side there is only white light, nothing else, no colors, no "distortions". I talk about it like I understand it, but I don't understand it at all. I don't even remember the peak. I only have glimpses. But the peak is not something that can be "remembered". A sober mind cannot comprehend it therefore it cannot recall a memory of it. And we are only talking about the intellectual understanding here. We didn't even touch the emotional part. Try to remember the time when you felt a positive emotion so intense that you started to shiver, shake, and cry. And multiply it by infinity. And then there is the physical experience. Imagine that you feel so good in your body that your body disappears and it basically becomes infinite light. Now that's a tough one to imagine. As you see, words worth nothing compared to the experience itself. I only talk about it because I think that everybody should have the motivation to experience it. I think it's bullshit that "5-meo is not for everybody". It IS for everybody. Everybody is God and everybody has the right to experience it.

Whatever you are doing, you are doing it perfectly. You should love yourself for that. I love you.
