in my case, yes. I get drained too. But it really depends on every situation. Socializing with family is different from socializing with friends, classmates, colleagues or small kids. They vary from time to time depending on your current energy levels, status of your emotions, your sense of purpose on doing things, the topics involved, people involved, and so many things.. not really constant. The key skill is knowing how the "you" works and how it responds to circumstances, mastering your psychology. then, you can handle yourself in almost all different situations in life with the right intentions. cheers!

hi @Nahm this is an intriguing question. this is my thinking right now, please correct my words: i think the point of creating this illusion is "to create". Just the point of Creating. I am not sure exactly what things to create, but i think if the absolute has all the power, why not do creations? so the Absolute created something, which is the "reality". if God (who is perfect) was going to create, then His creations should be perfect too. Like a perfect creating perfect things. And human is a perfect creation of God. Duality distorts this fact, because of the Devil (ego). So why did He created the illusion? It's because the Ego is also a perfect creation of Him. Infinite creation is manifesting in all directions, even the seemingly contradicting creations. -
@HII in my experience, i can really classify my own as introverted. What i have learned is that a person is not an introvert all of the time. It really fluctuates. Although, in general, you can feel where on the introversion-extrovertion scale you are. I remember a video of Leo about Introvert vs Extrovert, it was a good video on this topic. It was like you can get and adopt The Advantages of both personality types. you can have them both, and use the skills of each personality to use in every situation of your life. the video is a must watch. lots of details there. I also want to point out that many people treat introversion as the not ideal type. They sometimes treat it as bad and associate it with low self-esteem. But self-esteem is different, though it is a critical skill too. it is the confidence in one's own worth or abilities. A person can really be introverted with high self-esteem, or introverted with low self-esteem. same with extroverts with different levels of self-esteem. Leo has a video about it too, but that was pretty old : ) A good book recommendation is The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem by Nathaniel Branden. yeah the six pillars is amazing : )

@Revolutionary Think it was like, you telling your parents that all their beliefs are wrong and groundless. Of course, they would hate it, and will get you into trouble. I think preaching out there and pissing off people is not ideal. And i also think that most of the people here in Actualized.org became followers of Leo because they seek for it, they wanted answers and searched for it intrinsically. People dont accept a thing (esp the seemingly unpleasant) because they were not ready. Here's a nice quote: "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."

hi. i think you have lost contact with your higher self or your authentic self if you continually feel that. have you taken the LP course? it answers almost all deep questions about career. a key question would be: "Would you still be doing your One Thing even if it does not give you money? even if has costs of doing it or even if they will not understand you? also would you still be doing it even if you know you will just not be paid?" You do your One Thing because you just looooooove it! you love it like you found your soulmate and you are on this long journey with him/her. the tingling feeling and bright light inside the heart is so apparent, like you're a kid. that One thing is not because it will get you something or it will be a bridge to get into this thing but because for the sake of it. you name it. take the course with all your heart.

great voice projection. you've got a very good humor and it's so entertaining. i think the rooms for improvement could be picking more thought-provoking topics. but im not sure about your interests. maybe consciousness : )

then read some crappy books and you will write almost nothing : ) just kidding. ok, if you write a lot, i think that's kind of programming the subconscious mind. helps you recall things better.

hi. i think it depends on the meditation technique. say, you were practicing the "Do Nothing", i think there's no need to accomplish there, no questions should be answered, just plain observation and savor what's entering on your 5 senses. just be present. this is a luxury. What i do after the meditation is to ask myself, "On a scale of 1 to 10, how would i rate this session?" most of the time, i feel like it was 3 or 2, lol. the monkey mind usually wins, it always grabs the spotlight, and drags everywhere.. haha and then id say to myself, i will try to do better next time. -
@zenjen haha. me too. Graphic designs.

I used to admire the works of this man, Don Voss. Even if I don't exactly understand the paintings, it feels like I am attracted to it like it has deep beautiful meanings https://toltecartist.wordpress.com https://ravencircle.org -
yeah, exactly like a book. sometimes, i just avoid eye contact with people, because theyre so obvious like they fake who they are. i hate to see it. lol

@Marinus sounds like we're on the same page. Extremely sensitive people end up with going into solitude most of the time. I think it was because it was hard to appear "normal" in social situations. You always feel people's intentions, their emotions and motives, always assessing them, like there's so much extra info that you keep of processing, like staring at little details or like being easily affected by emotional movies are somewhat not normal or just ignored by most of them. A common experience for me is when I find something that ignites my laughter because a thing is so intriguing, but I always find it not normal to laugh at these things, because people don't get it. I was always afraid to be dismissed as dumb or a little kid. But know that this is a strength. Try reading this book called Discover your purpose by Rhys Thomas. might help understand your nature.

@Dan Arnautu maybe merge both, and then name it with the most appropriate word for that value. "Art" could be enough. or it could be "Art/Contribution " Know that it is only you who knows your own description of the value. Youre only the one who sees your Vision clearly than anybody else.

@abgespaced hey Adrian! you made a leap too! wow. All the best hopes and wishes for your journey!

@vizual maybe try studying Spiral dynamics. Leo has a video about it - titled The Grand Model of Psychological Evolution. People in the Beige (1st stage) only care about survival, i.e. babies, mentally ill, bums on the street. they have to meet their needs (food, safety, etc) regardless of knowing its good or bad to others. theyre selfish. Then, when growth occured, they will transcend on the next stage, Purple. They were "groupish", caring about the tribe they belong, having norms of good and bad that would affect the tribe. When you compare the Beige to the people on the Purple stage (2nd), then, it would be apparent to them that Beige were doing "bad". It was like people on the advanced stage see whats going on on the lower stage. there were like 7 stages in spiral dynamics. so lets say when you were on the Red (3rd) or Blue (4th) stage, you could understand whats on the lower stages. It was just like there's no absolute good thing or bad thing in life. it will only depend on your consciousness. its amazing to study it for yourself.

lol. thanks for asking that. Just do what really amazes you, things that really ignites your curuoisity. You will come up with lots of desires when you do your research and exploring other people. here are some possible careers I have dabbled: - being a Mentalist (lol) - being a Graphologist (man! I still have lots of insight in this field) - psychologist (like the cognitive psychologist, dealing with the eye and the brain) - FBI agent / Spy (lol) i love how FBI cops work on the psychological level - non-verbal intelligence specialist - i have read dozens of books about this lol - Author - yeah like the inspirational authors out there, but I found im not a good writer. sloppy english lol - Educator - i also love tutoring kids and my peers - CEO of a non profit org, maybe someday -Public speaker - i also dabbled on toastmasters. but the ego just got bigger in that field - Researcher - i just love researching - Mindmapper - i have made a personal blog posting mind maps but I discontinued it after dozens of posts. a small bet, then lost interest. - Graphic designing - works perfectly for me (my current career right now). but not the general category of graphic designs (lots of specialization in this field) so I had to find whats authentic to me again -- logo design - good but not too grandiose -- website, brochures - not really authentic to me -- information design - MAN! That is me! lol but not the general field of information design that makes typical infographics, so i specialize again in this category of making diagrammatic illustrations, a bit similar to mindmap. now, i work with writers needing illustrations and with this man i met online (the gateway man), on a marketing department of a big company. they really love what i do. lol but hey I studied engineering in college. fuck that. lol

sounds like a self-sacrifice. others might not help to solve it because they are AFRAID to take 100% responsibility, because it takes a radical self honesty and awareness to see the big picture. People like to play the blame game, and pointing fingers. You need also to admit that you too co-created the situation before it came into your perception, at least in how you perceive it. So lets say, if your fiance was raped, how you act on it? Would you get angry to the rapist? Man! Honestly, it's very hard to not get angry! that's why it takes high degrees of awareness and enormous courage to look at all perspectives to do that. would you able to at least empathize on the rapist when all you feel is pain?
-
Here's what i learned: Blaming is like you do when you hate getting the credit of an unwanted situation that just happened. It could be because someone else caused it and it "feels" inappropriate to blame yourself. e.g. how you were raised, the funeral of somebody, the accident. It was like a default mechanism of people with low consciousness. Pointing fingers to others and not you. The negative feeling they feel seems like the fault of others. Responsibility is like you being "unaffected" whether you caused a situation or not. Like you don't treat a situation as good or bad. You don't moralize other people or things or situations. It was just how you respond to it. See and feel your emotions. It was like having this kind of awareness of the situation, big picture, and you just want to find out how to solve the problem, find better alternatives, or how to not make it worse. Hating things or hating people will just make it worse (if you're mindful about it). know that it is a skill to take 100% responsibility.

@BjarkeT ask yourself "Do I need to change something in myself?" if you answered no, then you're perfect. why take self improvement anyways? if yes, then admit that. and start to realize how ignorant and little knowledge you have compared to ___________. (insert a name here)

maybe try making recipes of healthy food with pschedelic mushrooms and dmt's for improving people? lol. just kidding. what i know is the life purpose should be something around the top 3 or 5 values, your top signature strengths were also the clues. if this is your first draft, then refine it in the future when something changed as you do research. Life purpose should have a really sparking compelling vision, that moves your ass to work every single day.

Yeah Leo has like 600,000 kids. Lots of food (insights) he keep on feeding us but I honestly can't digest all of them now.

i find that the same for me. also when i hear convos of people talking about petty stuff, i really find that boring sometimes and I would just put my earphones on. i also felt bored of some TV shows, especially, petty news, talk shows, low quality game shows, etc. but I love good series and movies that interests me right now i have this luxury of the privelege to live in isolation, seriously. i am glad that i have passed the boredom of the first few months. how? by doing lots of distractions. lol. but now i am taking this opportunity to do consciousness work deeply.

@aniss ok dad. i have a quirky business right now, that i do for a living. why not take the LP course.
