  1. I've been taking the multivitamins during the winter. And I've used to eat lots of bananas and still do, which means I should have quite a lot of potassium. Didn't seem like it had any effect. Other minerals might be missing though (maybe magnesium, no idea). I also drink quite a lot. 4-5 liters a day of just water. I do have thyroid issues (hypo function) and I know about them. I do take medication and the blood tests are fine more or less for those. I will have to do the blood work to figure out what exactly is missing, because this makes my life more difficult than it should.
  2. Thanks, will definitely look into Magnesium supplements. No, no coffee. I am aware of the caffeine crash, that's why trying to avoid caffeine in general. I don't usually eat processed carbohydrates. It's rare. I've heard of enema and have considered it. But haven't committed yet. I am afraid that if I juice I will experience crazy hunger.
  3. Hm, I don't drink coffee. I do drink tea, but in moderation. I wonder if anything else could cause this.
  4. I am not sure whether that was clear enough. I don't usually eat junk food. It's just when I get this weird feelings in my body that I tend to eat chocolate and maybe something else, like cookies. Other then that, I eat pretty clean. I've been tested couple of years ago and then the sugar levels were excellent. Of course, this might have changed.
  5. Yes, I do a quick yoga before work and I also meditate for 15 minutes every single morning.
  6. @Annie Perhaps. Thanks for the suggestion. Will try it out.
  7. The hormones are messed up, most likely. But then again, to get all tests on hormones will cost a fortune.
  8. OMG, that isn't even funny I will schedule the blood tests. Might cost quite a bit, but I guess it's worth it.
  9. And junk food doesn't actually help. I just have a craving for it when tired and then it might reduce a little bit of its effect, but in the end it just makes me feel guilty and I only gain weight :(
  10. Haha, I think the age definitely has its say on it. Damn. I wonder if it's also lack of some nutrients? I also feel great otherwise, it's the recovery process. It annoys me. I mean if we feel like that when we are thirty, what's coming? o_O
  11. I am not sure you have similar effects though. Do you eat junk when you feel this way? I have this tingling in my body, and especially in my legs, for some reason. It's very uncomfortable. I usually feel like sleep would help, but I cannot wind down easily, so I need to eat junk/watch junk to release a little of it.
  12. It happens if I am physically/emotionally tired, not after a particular training. I do cardio, weights, swimming. 2-3 times a week. I do not increase the weights, because I think the weights I am using at the moment are already challenging enough, I feel. The tiredness can hit me at any time of the day. Sometimes it's in the early morning, before breakfast. If I have breakfast, it goes away for a little and might not come back if I don't do anything straining at all (which is challenging, because I love doing straining things).
  13. Thanks! Haven't done any blood tests, not sure what exactly I should aim at. The doctors will probably ask for a reason.
  14. @Annie I have heard about it, haven't tried yet. Would it solve the issue though? It might sooth the symptoms, sure. I wonder if there's some systemic inflammation in my body caused somehow by the food or other things...
  15. I think it's best just to try and see what works at least in the short term.
  16. Yes, I also think that eggs are my best option. Thanks for suggestions!
  17. @pluto I am testing a Paleo diet at the moment, so a lot of those do not fit into the acceptable options. Will note those for the future, however.
  18. @Michael569 What are your suggestions for an animal protein replacement? Or did you talk only about dairy, but not the meats?
  19. It varies. I try to follow paleo as much as I can. So I eat eggs, vegetables, fruits, small amounts of meat (very small and rarely), nuts. From times to times I would eat also sweets and bread. And more often than that I would eat dairy.
  20. Thanks! How effective the remedy is in your opinion? How would you rate it on the scale of five? I have tried similar things, eg honey and I barely notice any improvements.
  21. Thanks for the list, but I am aware of literally all of those. In fact, quite a few of them I do follow almost religiously. It's a sort of OCD. I still get the infection though. I'm suspecting that my immunity has gone down significantly. No idea why. Maybe because of the surgery I have had couple of months back. Though I was getting sick even before that. It seems that my throat is the weak spot. Will keep researching about what I could do.
  22. Well, it is popular all over the world, I guess. I will try this out - no sugar or milk for 2 weeks. If that cures me of this constantly reappearing infection, I am ready to give it up.
  23. By sugar you mean any carbohydrate? It would be quite tough. Even veggies have carbs.
  24. @Loreena thanks! I am positive it has nothing to do with allergies. It's most likely that it's some hidden infection. And yes, I am sure I am getting enough of vitamin C. Also honey doesn't help in such cases. I know drinking lots of water helps, that's what I do.
  25. Dancing is awesome! It's a form of arts + exercise. It's awesome because you can forget yourself and just enjoy the movement. I like any type of dance, but especially the energetic type. Try this:
