How to actually integrate all teaching of Actualized.org?
How to actually integrate all teaching of Actualized.org?Reality is too massive to have it make sense all at once. You gotta eat the elephant one bit at a time until you realize, "Oh, that was leg, that was an ear, that was a tail."
The perfect place to begin eating it is anywhere. Just trust that over the months and years you'll see patterns emerge.
If Actualized.org is not comprehensive enough for ya, nothing will be. It's so comprehensive it will take you a decade to realize how comprehensive it is. That's not a mistake.
One day you will realize: "Holy fuck this is HUGE! How is this even possible?"

The 5-MeO-DMT Mega-Thread
The 5-MeO-DMT Mega-ThreadIf it helps you good. But it is not required for all people as Martin likes to declare.
My point is that people have different requirements in their awakening process. It all depends on how your mind works.
If something works for you, great. But be careful declaring that it will work for everyone or have importance for everyone or be necessary for everyone or is "the one and only true way."

What distinguishes an "insight" from a belief?
What distinguishes an "insight" from a belief?Since the universe is consciousness, consciousness is capable of self-understanding and insight into the truth of things.
God is able to recognize itself and this ability is present all throughout everyday life, science, and thought. Yes, thoughts can be tricky, but thoughts also can contain kernels of truth. How is that possible? Because the powr of insight is baked into language. Language is not just a bunch of scribbles on a page. Language is made sense of or understood by a much more profound quality of the universe.
Perception is not the only game in town. The universe doesn't just perceive, is can also understand.
Understanding is how you're able to make sense of the things I say and see the truth or falsehood in various sayings. But it goes deeper than language. You can understand how to turn on a faucet. What do you think that is? Don't take that for granted! You could not turn on a facucet without some level of true understanding.
It means that once you become conscious of the Absolute, don't then fall back into doubting it.
Like: "Well, was that really God? Maybe I'm not God after all? Maybe I was just hallucinating?"
No! You are God! Stop doubting that. Don't make doubt your God. That would be putting the cart before the horse.

What distinguishes an "insight" from a belief?
What distinguishes an "insight" from a belief?LOL
Yes! There is INSIGHT and UNDERSTANDING.
You cannot reduce those two to anything more fundamental.
You must have an insight into what insight is. You do not understand what understanding is. Just notice that.
This requires serious contemplation. It will not be explained to you in words.
With deep enough insight you will realize that perception isn't even a thing. Perception is actually Being/Truth. "Perception" is a dualiatic notion, so be careful with just throwing that word around.
A good way to contemplate what insight is, is to bring to mind specific examples of insight. For example, an insight was necessary for you to realize that whole numbers go up to infinity. At some point when you were a child you started counting: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... and then at some piont it hit you: This can go on forever!!! That was an insight.
Insights are often quite ordinary.
I remember vividly when I was a kid the moment when I realized why a penis gets hard. It was a massive epiphany: "Oh, it needs to be hard to fit inside a hole!!! Wow! Of course!"
That was quite an insight!
Nothing is obvious until you have an insight about it.
Your birth was an insight. One day you had the insight: "Oh, I exist!" And on that day you came into being as a human.
Insight is a mysterious thing. Which is why we call this mysticism.

What causes ‘unhealthy’ memes to develop?
What causes ‘unhealthy’ memes to develop?@How to be wise Every meme becomes unheathly evenutally as the ego makes an identity out of it.
Identity creates attachment and clinging, which is sort of the definition of dysfunction.
America has plenty of unhealthy strict Blue too. Look at the Catholics, Evangelicals, and Mormons.
Whenever a meme is turned into an ideology, into "the truth", it becomes toxic because all memes are partial and limited. They are never the full Truth.

Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability Predictions
Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability PredictionsNot at all. Yellow can use various modes including blue binary, orange logic and yellow relativism. As an analogy, a carpenter can use a screwdriver, hammer or saw as needed. They can use whichever tool is appropriate for a given situation.. One mode is not “superior” to another. Rather, it is a course of development. People learn algebra before calculus, yet they don’t stop using algebra when using calculus. Similarly, people learn binary thinking before logical thinking, yet they don’t stop using binary thinking when using logical thinking. However, someone centered in blue will struggle with orange level logical thinking. This is obvious to someone proficient in logical thinking. It would be like If a handyman was trying to cut a board of wood with a screwdriver - it would be pretty obvious he didn’t know how to use a saw.

Why Talent Is Overrated in Spirituality (Shinzen Young Case Study)
Why Talent Is Overrated in Spirituality (Shinzen Young Case Study)Why?
You have to consider than even with your difficulties you might still be way ahead of most people on the planet.
Just because you struggle with learning calculus doesn't mean you don't have a massive leg up on a donkey trying to learn calculus.
Being talented or gifted doesn't mean life is easy. Probelms and challenges are always relative, so no matter how capable you are you will face challenges which will bend you to your limit.
A donkey can carry 1000 lbs on his back before it breaks, you cannot. The donkey has you beat there. The donkey might look at you struggling to carry 200 lbs and laugh to himself, "What a whim!" But if you put 2000 lbs on the donkey his back will break. So the donkey is not free of struggle. Donkeys get more loaded up because they are expected to carry more than humans.
If you observe nature carefully you will see that every physiological structure has its strengths, weaknessess, and breaking points. That is the nature of form. Every form has its limits.
Form also always comes at the cost of flexibility. The more formed you are, the less flexible you are. Only God itself has infinite flexibility.
Think of an object which is infinitely flexible. That's God! Ta-da! Notice, it must have no form.

Why Talent Is Overrated in Spirituality (Shinzen Young Case Study)
Why Talent Is Overrated in Spirituality (Shinzen Young Case Study)A deep insight which you're overlooking is the strong effects of the environment on one's consciousness.
I can only speak for myself because 1) I know myself 100% truthfully(and its not hearsay) and 2) I haven't read no where near sufficiently to even judge hearsay at the levels you are able to.
The environment plays just as strong, if not stronger role on how enlightened you will be. Be careful not to misunderstand me, I'm not supporting the 'talent is not born its made, 10000 hours' argument, I'm saying that we even in duality we are strongly tied to our environment. No matter how individualistic you are, the environment determines(subconscious/unconsciously) the actions you choose to do and the success that comes with it.
If you try and enlighten yourself inside a ghetto, even if you're the buddha you will not be able to do it. If you try to enlighten yourself in an ashram, no matter how dull you are, the chances of success increases significantly. This is because you become a cell, a part of the ashram/ghetto system, and the system's properties get meshed into your individualistic properties. Of course, you may still come across as an outlier, you may still be totally different to the people in the ghetto/ashram depending on your tendencies, all I'm saying is the place you put yourself has massive consequences on your behaviour.
Have you taken this into account when looking at spiritual people? Would the buddha ace yoga if he tried to inside a ghetto? Would shinzen young not be able to access higher levels of consciousness if he was in the presence of the living gautama buddha? Don't fool yourself into thinking these people are individualistic entities separate from their environment, their environment moves their being massively.
You need to distinguish talent from environment if you wish to explain the phenomena you're trying to explain properly.
I did an experiment with myself. I watched your videos and talked on the forum for 6 months. I then didn't for 6 months. My personality and talents changed dramatically between the 2 periods. When I went and immersed myself with Sadhguru's community, my talents and personality changed massively again. This really showed me the power of the environment on talent.

The Core of Christianity Contradicts Act.org
The Core of Christianity Contradicts Act.orgDevil is a tricky word. It can definitely be misunderstood by newbies. Must be careful with it.
But it's also a fun word, it's provocative -- which can be good as times -- and once you understand what a devil actually is (by watching my What Is The Devil video) then it becomes a very powerful concept for making sense of the world.
It's important for newbies reach a point in their development where they realize, "Holy shit! I really am a devil, aren't I?" That takes maturity and honesty to admit. People who are in denial that they are devils are the biggest devils. Admitting you're a devil is already to have solved half your problems. This is the chief reason why I like to call people devils. It forces them to confront the fact that the devil is not an external force but an internal one. The ego loves to see itself as a hero and an angel. So telling an ego that it's the devil is very shocking and destabilizing to it. It's like poking a hibernating bear in the eye with a pointy stick.
Of course an even deeper understanding comes when you realize that all devilry is actually love.

Disgusted By Own Ego –> Change –> More ego?
Disgusted By Own Ego –> Change –> More ego?For fuck's sake no! That is God!
The solution you're looking for is LOVE! Practice being more loving towards yourself and others.
Replace guilt with love. Love is God! Not ego.
You are being egotistical when you judge yourself so harshly. Treat yourself with kindness.
Doubt is good at the beginning of this journey. But at some point you gotta drop doubt and replace it with absolute faith in Love.

Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability Predictions
Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability PredictionsThat's a serious misunderstanding of Spiral Dynamics. SD stages are not good or evil. It's just relative degrees of awareness and development.
The reason some people don't like SD is if they find themselves low on the scale and then judge themselves that that is bad and unacceptable. But SD never said you are bad for being at a lower level.
There's nothing evil about saying that person X is in 3rd grade while person Y is in 12th grade.
Development Psychology and Spiral Dynamics help us understand one another better. It's the exactly opposite of calling people evil.

I seriously want to step out of the game of life. Asking for realistic advice.
I seriously want to step out of the game of life. Asking for realistic advice.Your thinking is very black and white.
You don't need to living totally in the truth to enjoy life.
You gotta find some ways to enjoy life. All of this spiritual work is ultimately just a way of learning how to enjoy life. It's not about living in some cave and being a hardcore monk. That is only done for a temporary period as a means to an end.
You can practice enjoying life right now. You don't have to finish your enlightenment.
Structure your life in ways that make you feel good about yourself. I don't mean shooting up heroin or partying every night. I mean more simple pleasures, like the pleasures of reading a good book, cooking a nice meal, going fishing on the weekend, going for a road trip, listening to some good music, practicing some cool hobby, etc.
There are many ashrams around the world. In India, in Costa Rica, and elsewhere.
You could also try to find a more laid back job which is either more enjoyable to do or gives you more free time. When you have a business that you enjoy doing, life becomes a lot sweeter.
I spend a lot of time on my work, but I love it so it rarely feels like work. That's the key to work. You gotta do something you find meaningful.

Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability Predictions
Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability PredictionsI do not look at the world through the filter of IQ at all. To me that is a narrow and foolish way of looking at people and societies.
You are treating IQ as a fixed human quality but it isn't. The IQ of a society is like the wealth of a society. As a society grows it can raise the IQ of its members.
The reason you're caught up on the issue of IQ is because you're at a stage Orange level of cognitive development, so you're stuck on rationality and quantifying the world. Given your worldview, if a thing cannot be qualified or rationally grasped, it isn't real and does not exist. You're not yet developed enough to notice that this is very limited and distorted way of looking at the world. You've also filled your mind with IQ ideology by watching videos and reading Reddit or whatever, which now colors how you see the whole world. But you're not yet conscious enough to see that that's just one out of an infinite number of models and perspectives, and a very crude and narrow one at that.
You're also not conscious yet of the socially-constructed nature of IQ scores and tests. You hold IQ as some kind of biological absolute, which it isn't. You might as well be arguing that poverty is a genetic trait. This would be to misunderstand the social and systemic causes of poverty.
If you want to evaluate people, level of ego development is the best metric. And ego development is fully changeable with practice, effort, and improvements to society. It is not a genetic absolute in the way that having 10 fingers is.
I seek to hang out with wise people who are conscious enough to realize that reality is too complex and subtle to be quantified. But since such people are rare, I have to settle for dealing with the narrow-mindedness of rationalism and scientism.

[Help Needed] Feeling Hopeless in the Struggle
[Help Needed] Feeling Hopeless in the StrugglePsychedelics are good for busting you out of a rut. They can show you a life beyond struggle. Which then becomes something worth growing towards.
I don't understand why 4 years of work hasn't improved your life. Why is the struggle so bad?
Remember, this whole journey of self growth is supposed to be enjoyable. Don't do it because someone said you have to do it. Do it because it's what you're interested in naturally. What else are you gonna do?
It might also be a good idea to take a break from personal development for a while. Come back to it later. Go enjoy life a bit. Follow what you're naturally passionate about, not some lofty ideal.

Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability Predictions
Leo is Wrong About Trump - Accountability Predictions@Angelo John Gage
Your worldview may not be racist, but it is fundamentally ethnocentric. Your worldview is that you see the world in terms of races and cultures which cannot get along. Notice that your position is coming from a place of FEAR and LACK. That has nothing to do with truth, it's a limited, constructed worldview, and this worldview is serving your survival as a self.
If those immigrants were your own mother, you'd sing a different tune.
IQ is a silly metric. To make any arguments based on IQ difference is absurd because IQ depends upon the country's infrastructure and level of development, not racial differences. And even if there is an IQ difference, so what? A nation has people of all levels of IQ in it. You cannot keep all the low IQ people in some sealed off part of the world. Low IQ people are all part of our situation on this planet. Also, just because someone is high IQ does not make them an angel. There are many high IQ people who are ruining this country with financial exploitation. IQ is not equal to moral development or consciousness. Which is why it's such a bad metric.
The world is going to be a multicultural place no matter how much you resist it, so might as well embrace it and get used to it. It already is multicultural. Immigration is the result of multiculturalism. When you create boundaries between countries, nature will obviously work to blur those boundaries. So the irony of what is happening is here is: humans invented all these imaginary ethnic and national boundaries, and now the forces of nonduality are telling you: not so fast! Those boundaries cannot remain permanent because no boundaries in the universe are permanent.
The logic that you're using is that same kind of logic that people used against the Jews, Irish, Italians, and other people who immigrated to the USA throughout history. These Europeans were considered dirty, uneducated, non-White, and that they would corrupt society. Now it's totally obvious such logic is silly. Your logic is warped by fear of "other".
No one is saying that we should have Wahhabist communities in the USA. And to conflate Latin American asylum seekers with Wahhabists is absurd. Again, coming from fear.
Immigration has been a part of American culture since the very beginning. So to say that somehow these different races and cultures cannot get along is a projection of your own fear and also historically inaccurate. They CAN get along, but certainly not if you have an ethnocentric worldview which believes that different races cannot get along. By believing it won't work, you manifest it. To get along, you gotta stop seeing the world as all these different groups and start seeing the fundamental humanity of all humans. You also need to stop thinking so negative of people with lower IQs. As if IQ somehow determines a person's worth.
The ultimate reason immigration is happening is because you cannot have a wealthy country next to a poor country. Nature will try to equalize that differential until both countries are equalized. Don't forget that much of American wealth and success is built directly off of exploitation of poor countries. The US manipulates Latin American countries to exploit them financially. Then when asylum seekers come, that's directly related to American foreign policy around the world.
It's all interconnected.
Your fundamental argument is that people are just too different to get along. But all of these people are on the same planet. So whether you like it or not, we have to learn to get along or we will kill each other. Learning how to get two different people to get along is our whole job! You cannot have a global economy as we do while also segregating people. What you're basically talking about is segregation. Your same logic was used to oppose the integration of black kids into white schools in the 60's. The whites' argument was identical to yours: "We aren't racists! All we're saying is, if you integrate dumb black kids into our elite white schools, this will ruin our schools. And they will get into fist fights because they are too different." Yeah! That's called segregation, LOL. That's ethnocentrism and selfishness.
All of this is collective ego 101. We've seen it happening in human history from the dawn of civilization. Nothing new in this logic.

Is this what awakening feels like ??
Is this what awakening feels like ??I spend most of my time alone. If I worked at Starbucks, yeah, maybe I'd have to hide it. I'm fortunate in that regard.
Most days there are moments of such deep love and profound understanding that tears cannot be stopped.
For me this whole thing is not just about the state of consciousness but the profound understandings that pour nonstop. Reality is understood at higher and higher levels. Everything becomes so interconnected. I can watch a guy flick his cigarette out of the car driving at 40 miles per hour, catch a quick glimpse of the cigarette as it bounces off the asphalt and realize that in that cigarette butt lies an entire universe, as deep and infinite as the celestial universe our astronomers explore. Stuff like that all day long.
I think there's quite a range of variability in how people experience nonduality. For some it will be more heart-centered and feeling-based, for others more head-centered and intellectual, for other more visual, for others more visionary, for others more wacky & paranormal, etc.
-
Is this what awakening feels like ??
Is this what awakening feels like ??I wouldn't say I feel it. I would phrase it as: I understand my body is the imagination of God. Sometimes I look at my hands and see them as magic. Most of the day, however, when I'm on autopilot, I lose sight of the magic, simply residing in the mundaneness of everyday human life.
There are moments throughout the day where I stop and consciously reconnect with the magic. Like, "Oh yeah! These hands are the hands of God!" But then I usually go back into functional living.
I know I can deepen this a lot more with more work.
I still need more work to calm the body and mind down to be still for long periods of time. I'm not so good at that because I am constantly bombarded with wisdom. Wisdom and insights pour all day long. I run out of energy just verbalizing them all for the benefit of mankind. I feel it is my duty to be a mouthpiece for God's infinite wisdom. And I enjoy it.
-
Is this what awakening feels like ??
Is this what awakening feels like ??Not so much on 5-MeO-DMT.
Although during my highest dose trip I had such a massive heart opening and kundalini activation that it shot out of my fingertips like invisible Jedi force lightning and pealed the skin on my fingertips, which remained pealed and cracked for a few weeks and took time to heal. It was a very overwhelming experience. Too much God too fast.
On DPT, however, I have more visionary abilities. Like I described in some of my recent blog videos, I experimented with performing healing on myself and even healing the collective consciousness of mankind as a whole. DPT is a better tool for that. I'm still trying to figure out how it work. Seems like performing miracles is possible with it.
I suspect that to be able to preform miracles one needs to have or somehow develop extraordinary, superhuman visionary capacity more so than just pure nondual consciousness. These seem to be distinct aspects of consciousness which can be developed independently, or perhaps together synergisticly.
I think it may be possible to actually tap into the collective consciousness of an entire species and modify the trajectory of its evolution through one's will. Of course at this level of consciousness it's not your human will, it is the Will of God at work creating the entire universe. It's very hard to explain because it is utterly nonlinear and beyond words or any kind of human logic. Ordinary laws of cause and effect don't apply there. I have much more exploring to do there to make sense of how it works. Seems promising so far. Of course no one will believe it. It's hard to believe even as you're doing it. To the human mind it seems nuts and impossible.
My theory is this: if you want to perform a miracle which objectively registered in other people's mind, you have to actually tap into the collective consciousness of all sentient beings and make the change at that level. Because the physical world has to be consistent across individual minds. You can't just change a thing for one mind but not another.

Neurofeedback Question for Leo - EEG/HEG Training for ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety
Neurofeedback Question for Leo - EEG/HEG Training for ADHD, Depression, and AnxietyFor the past six months I have been on a journey to cure my ADHD, depression, and anxiety. For a very long time I was mostly unconscious of these problems and managed to suppress them; only recently have I become very aware of them and the radical impact they have on my life. These issues have been crippling on both a day to day basis, and in the bigger picture of pursuing my life purpose/other self-actualization work. I did quite a bit of research about how to cure these issues after I read a forum post Leo responded to, in which he talked about how ADHD can have it’s root in physical imbalances - diet, heavy metal toxicity, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency, etc. I am currently working with a functional medicine (naturopath) doctor to resolve any imbalances I have there and optimize my health. I'm making progress in this area, but I think it's just one part of a full solution.
In that post Leo also mentioned neurofeedback as a very effective tool, so I went about researching it and learning all I could. I read the book on the booklist, read a ton of articles, watched videos, podcasts, etc. I found a practitioner very close to me and started talking with him, but I soon realized that it was very expensive - treatment usually took 20-40 sessions, and each session was $100, plus the $1000 cost of the QEEG brain map. Then I read that Leo had his own EEG machine (in the $3000 range), which interested me because that would be cheaper than going through 30 or 40 sessions+QEEG with a practitioner, and I could use it for life (for peak performance + alpha training protocols)! I ended up researching different companies that offered neurofeedback machines in this price range and came across this company: https://brain-trainer.com
They offer complete packages with all the hardware and software one would need for either HEG (training just the prefrontal cortex), EEG (whole brain) or both, and also include a few hours of mentoring to help customers map their brain, and learn/get started with EEG. They have a pretty interesting version of the brain map called the TQ7, which seems to be superior to the normal QEEG because it doesn’t work to train the client’s brain to minimize deviations from the average brain, but instead trains the client to what they call the “peak brain.” Here’s the explanation of how it works if anyone’s interested:
https://brain-trainer.com/about/trainers-q/
https://brain-trainer.com/answers/getting-started/tlc-vs-methods/ (this explains how the TQ is superior to other methods like QEEG, NeurOptimal, Z-Score, LORETA, and more)
I am considering purchasing one of their packages (linked below) as it would actually be cheaper than going to a neurofeedback clinic in the long run.
EEG Package
HEG Package
Combo Package
Here are the testimonials (obviously to be taken with a grain of salt as they are posted by the company, but still good to hear)
This is the only review I could find of this product that wasn’t on the testimonials page - it's hard to find reviews of any neurofeedback system.
My question for @Leo Gura is - What specific neurofeedback hardware/software do you use? Have you heard about this company? If you bought your hardware/software from them, what has your experience been like? Do you recommend a different company? Also, have you used HEG neurofeedback in addition to EEG?
I am really interested to hear your thoughts (or anyone else if they have experience with neurofeedback home training!)
I am very persistent to resolve my ADHD, depression, and anxiety, as currently they are my main obstacles.

Non-dual Morality
Non-dual MoralityTo make a long story short: consciousness & love is the answer to all moral questions.
You cannot fake consciousness or love. You act from your current level of consciousness, whatever that is. No amount of moralizing, theory, ideals, or ideology will change that. If you want to act better, raise your consciousness.
The less self you have, the more loving you will be. If you want to be more moral, deconstruct your self until nothing of you remains.
You cannot have a self and be moral at the same time.

Yo Leo
Yo Leo@Nic Terpstra How about you actually do the work?
Nobody is gonna make sense of reality for you. That's your job. How about a few years of serious research, reading, careful contemplation, and basic meditative technique?
You're barking up the biggest tree in the universe. So don't be surprised if it doesn't all make sense for the first decade. Having it all make sense is the end-result of decades of work.
It's like you've just entered 1st grade and tell the teacher: "Okay, I'm ready for this. Tell me everything I need to know." That will take 12 years kid.

Yo Leo
Yo LeoEventually you'll understand all of reality, how and why it was created, how to live properly, and you will transcend physical death.

Question for Leo or other smart people
Question for Leo or other smart peopleYes, that is the nature of survival. Your survival must happen at the cost of others survival.
But there is a question of degree of selfishness.
That's the trick with life, you cannot create a mechanical formula for what to do. You must use consciousness and wisdom to solve the puzzles.
It would be foolish to try to eradicate all of anything. Life is far more subtle than that.
Killing lots of stuff is usually not a very conscious solution.

Who's Interested In Conscious Politics?
Who's Interested In Conscious Politics? That's where spirituality intersects with life purpose. Your LP should be about helping mankind raise consciousness in whatever way you find more meaningful. That could be through film, social media, writing, music, art, business, politics, education, engineering, or whatever.
The most important thing for now is to educate yourself further. A deep study should be made of Conscious Politics before you run off to start some political or social revolution.
Once you do that AND you find your LP, then your whole life will be making an impact and helping to elevate people.
