I genuinely think the best strategy as a man, from my point of view, and that is regardless whether you are low value or high value - is to just get used to loneliness and develop good coping mechanisms for that. And also being able to love yourself rather narcisistically, although that is more of a universal advice relevant for women as well I suppose. Even if you are a "high value" sort of man, one day you will understand that the primary reason why most of the people who are close to you, are with you is because you've been serving them some sort of utility - the kind that is not linked with you just being but correlated with your actions. Once this kind of utility decreases because, let's say, one day you'll maybe get tired of the act - you'll see that's you've just been coping this entire time lmao I dare anyone debate me over this, you'll stand no chance lol

These days, I sometimes stop to think and wonder: isn’t it kind of lame being human? It feels that way to me, we’re always stuck dealing with the same sets of annoying problems over and over again. Take the one outlined in the topic, for example. There are never any truly satisfying solutions to any of them, not really. Like, not REALLY. Especially with long-term problems, where all sorts of unpredictable variables are constantly at play. All advice and solutions end up feeling like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound to me. Living forever is obviously a nonsensical fantasy althought I still find it understandable if people sometimes wonder what would it feel like to live that long, however if that fantasy leads to some breakthrought discoveries allowing people to live longer then that's fine in my book. Personally I wouldn't mind prolonging my life for like additional 50 years, given that I could live it out in it's entirety youthfully and healthilly, because I feel like my enviroment and circumstances took so much of my youthfull time away from me already, and will continue to. So much time just feels wasted, so if it has to be wasted then it wouldn't hurt living somewhat longer to compensate for that. Who knows, we might get to a point one day where dying becomes entirely voluntary. It feels kinda uncomfortable to think about it like that

Perhaps the core problem is us being dissagreeable, conflict oriented, argumentative and whatnot. You might say that opinions and our interpretations of reality are the core to these problems since any time we perceive a different interpretation we feel conflicted and therefore we sometimes have the need to defend and fight for our perspective and opinion in order to validate our faith in this perspective, however futile this lashing out may be. Practicalities of life will always make you develop opinions, you can't just sleep walk throught life not knowing
