Thanks I agree. In meditation, using Leo's techniques, I reach states where I really let go, allow and surrender. It feels like I'm flying and all sensations are just there, I am not even human then. But I find it hard to reconcile this state of utter not-giving-a-fuckery and the state when I re-appear as a human with my wants and desires. Especially this deep desire to be with my twin flame, which I can't even consider egoic. She makes me want to be a better being and has already supercharged my practice and waking up process. My meditations really go deeper now, because it's like she increased my fire by meeting me and touching me, that one time. I guess reality is Oneness, so I shouldn't expect to see her twice? Heh

By being all of reality - all sensations, sounds, sights, thoughts and feelings . Not really doing anything, but noticing it is already done. Noticing how all these different aspects of the human are connected by your field of existence.

God, please use smaller paragraphs, so the text is easier to digest. You speak high level things and it would reach more people if you structure it better. Didn't mean to judge, just want to help since I am you too. But maybe its just me lol

One has to stop sometimes and smell the flowers. Hug a tree, love and laugh. Nature loves being noticed.

You are always in meditation as awareness. For me meditation practice helps with alligning with that ultimate truth of reality. You are always still as Awareness. And always awake. Enlightenment is not added on to you, it is noticed when the clouds of the mind become transparent. So yeah, formal practice would be specifically to calm the mind and so the waves slow down and you experience the depth of the ocean. Which you always are, even when there are waves.

Have you maybe approached this the wrong way? I know some like the harcore work method, but really, these contemplations and practices are best done in a loving way and without forcing it. Just relax dude, do the letting go meditation on Leo's youtube channel. It's the best for having a break from the mind consistently.

Hi electrobeam, can only speak from my experience, and this reminds me of a dream I had once where I started falling and falling as you describe. But not while in the waking dream.

I've had the similar experience recently (at the full moon) when I met what I could describe as my soul mate. It was like meeting myself in female form. Girls can be a substitute to LSD, I guess it might be more about recognizing the love, rather than the object that gets one to that Love recognition. And even though I fucked it up romantically, as I am shit at romance, I have an abundance of energy and I spend most my time just sitting in nature really and not in a state of waiting, but in a state of enjoying my existence. Even expressed the energy through a painting or two. Epic stuff. But maybe I will try some LSD in future. Not on the cards yet.

But hang on, you don't need to be able to say you're enlightenment to be enlightenment. It's actually more likely you're enlightenment if you don't say it. But I get what you mean, babies are below thought and we are talking of a state above thought. Pre ego enlightenment and post ego enlightenment should still be the same ultimate Truth., cant be 2

I believe they are in the natural state, as enlightenment is the default. It's only once the ego develops later on and acts like clouds which block the vast sky that is always there, that we start having the problems and suffering. Am I wrong in saying that enlightenment is not something we add on to ourselves, but something that remains once we remove the junk (aka duality/egoic beliefs) ?

All babies are enlightened. It is the natural state. They see the whole world as themself. There are no mind boubdaries created yet. We need to get back to be as a newborn.

Spiritual practice is the attempt of the ultimate to pretend it's gaining the ultimate, but its the ultimate before even the practice starts #pathlesspath I don't think the fast brings him any closer, but what do I know. I think the fasting comes from those days when they equated the spiritual attainment with denying the body.

But do you realise that this only means that what we call hate is made out of love, it doesn't meant that there is no space for it to exist, love is the very reason hate must exist, Love does not discriminate hate as something bad, that's what it is allowed to be also. By the infinite love we don't mean the love that is opposite to hate, but the knowing-being-happiness-love that is at the root of everything, even at the root of unconscious/evil behaviour. The love we talk about here is not the lovey dovey love that one would paint on a canvas with pink colours shiny objects, smiles and hearts, but it is the canvas itself on which positive OR negative things can be drawn. The drawing is secondary and changing, but the canvas is universal and is so vast and infinite that it allows for infinite paintings of negative And positive things to be drawn upon it.

Oh yes, infinity is infinite in all directions, or it wouldn't be infinite. Being itself however is a baseline love which doesn't have an opposite - there can never be infinite non-being as being is the default state.. But Infinite hate, laziness and all that stuff we deem negative must exist. All are aspects of God, even if we label them negatively. Infinity doesn't only include the positive numbers.

Maybe the guy is not very confident around females, as you mentioned he has face deformation in some way. Maybe he is just awkward around women and what you would perceive as him being annoying and unreasonable is his attempt at spending some time with someone of the opposing sex? Feel bad for the dude. And that girl could have been more considerate, it's obvious from this story that the guy has way darker night of the soul than she has and he is having to experience it while sober, while she was hiding behind the drugs.
