Being is effortless. You don't have to do something particular in order to be. It is all already done. In that case Being is not even a doing, as the name already suggests. All the doing on top of being which is not considered effortless by the being, is Ego , because being cannot consider something as effortless or not, it simply is. So who is that which considers something to not be effortless? It must be the Ego! Am I onto something here

To say the opposite, I would have to somehow be actively doing in order to keep the millions of processes in the body going to keep it alive. I am not doing such a thing. I can even sleep and those processes continue, the only possibility is that I am not doing being. If you see me say the opposite, then my account is hacked!

This is an illusion. Being is right there waiting at any moment for anyone. Because there is only one moment, being cannot be anywhere else, ever. It can only be here now, because that's what it IS.

well one time long ago, I was doing some self inquiry and at some point I started going outside of my body through the head. It was like I was looking from a birds eye view and the thing that came out of the body looked like what people refer to as soul. Je suis, I am. Are you not? You are also the "I am" which Jesus referred to. Also I am that I am. That's his main teaching. Before Abraham was, I am. He was talking about awareness. Before soul-lover (your relative identity) was, I am (your ultimate identity), before Dodo was, I am. We could also say that the I am in all of us is Jesus aka Je suis aka "I am" .

We often hear some teachers say that you can't do anything to awaken/reach enlightenment, so the best thing to do is to give up searching for it. Another set of teacher says that we need to meditate for at least an hour each day until the rest of our lives in order to awaken. Can both these sets of teachers be telling the truth? It seems kind of contradictory, but when I looked deeper, is meditation really a doing? It's the opposite of doing, meditation is all about being, about surrendering to what is. It is the ultimate giving up. So perhaps these two teachings are not that contradictory after all. What do you think?
