Selfless action is action without attachment to outcome. It's doing that is done for the doing's sake rather than for the fruit of that doing. Selfish action is basically the opposite - you are attached to the fruit of your actions. Example for clarity: You post a thread/post on Actualized.org - A selfish way to do that is to expect praise for the topic chosen and how smart you've answered etc. A selfless way to do that same thing is to be immersed in the post you're writing and to enjoy the process itself, not needing anything to come out of what you wrote. Simply doing for the sake of doing. And while the body appears in awareness, we cannot escape doing. It's a very important question how we can make that doing Karma-free instead of busting our own balls.

I have been prompted by the Universe to improve and I began Brahmacharya (Semen retention) because of my TF. I would not even know what that is and continue to waste my lifeforce energy due to ignorance on the subject. But when I met her it began naturally, then I found material online that helps me make this a lifestyle now. It's as if that was the plan all along. I'm also breaking through other destructive habits. It seems like they are falling apart more naturally after my addiction to porn and masturbation (sorry ladies) is being defeated. Seems like this is one of the addictions that are most close to the root, so removing it is also causing the rest of the weeds to wither away naturally. Love works in mysterious ways.

The thing is that this theory is inline with experience and it explains how there is something from nothing. (There isnt) If you want to believe in this matter thing, then it is still an open question how is Something created out of nothing.

Here is a complete nondual theory of everything that explains how there is "physical reality" from nothingness. There is actually no physical reality. All reality that you can be aware of right now is happening only in a mind-space - as your sense perceptions. Notice that you do not notice matter right now, you notice sensations and perceptions. Now, since those sensations and perceptions are made out of Mind, we can call them illusory. But there is something real here which knows those sensations and perceptions. That's called you. But that you is empty of content, the content is the illusory bit (mind stuff) mentioned earlier. Real Formlessness -> The you that is empty from objects, not even an I-thought object in it. This one's reality can be verified directly as that in experience which never changes. Illusory Form -> All the perceptions, conceptions and sensations that appear to make up a solid world made out of matter. Real formlessness + Illusory Form appears as Real Form. The Illusory Form borrows reality from the Real Formless and the Real Formless enjoys the play of illusory forms. Tadaaaaa (as Leo likes to say ) When the two merge, they are inseparable just like when you put cocoa in milk, the two will merge into one drink, which is better than both parts alone. PS: But notice please why this is totally Nondual! The Real Formlessness = Nothing and Illusory Form = Nothing, so these two fish that are swimming together are actually the same No-fish (nothing) just looked from a different perspective. I hope someone gets this and/or resonates with this because to me it's so damn beautiful.

I've also experienced strong heartbreak due to my 4-year girlfriend cheating on me with my university tutor. I understand man, its normal. Yeah don't oversimplify. That's from the ultimate perspective. In the relative perspective you and me are humans on Earth and there are girls ? and there are guys. Evolve out of this nondual nazi attitude. It's not what nonduality is about. I am the same as you sometimes, but we have to be able to see the relative and appreciate it. The illusion is borrowing reality from the ultimate, but while borrowing that reality it is also true. Dont throw the Yang to your Ying.

I would say - All perspectives appear to the same self. I would tell them: "Yes and No both appear to You. You can verify you are real, you cannot verify the perspective is real. " Then the rationalist might say: " But there are some perspectives that can be proven - such as truths about the physical reality, matter etc" Then I would respond " These things are proven, but only based on assumptions that were themselves not proven. So the foundation of those physical truths lies on shaky ground. If you use one illusory thing to prove that another illusory thing is real and true, you are making a fundamental mistake. You have to start from something that you know is true, and build on that foundation."

The path of selfless action and the path of knowledge are the same thing. The Bhagavad Gita is written for situations like yours. That's exactly why it's written as a discussion between Krishna and Arjuna (a warrior who is about to fight a great war - your work) . The Bhagavad Gita is exactly spirituality for those who are in the world and have duties to perform. It's not for people who want to renounce everything and live in a cave. It's to show what right action is - action which is detached from the fruits, selfless action, conscious action - flowing action... So if you are 100% working and have no time to "go deep spiritually" you are actually performing selfless service and are 100% going deep. Stay true to yourself. Here's an excerpt:

The Real, no-self has no need to talk with itself. The No-self is already perfect and needs no change. Needs not to express any truth. It is the Truth within which all relative lies and truths exist. And those relative ones is Me and You. That's why you are able to even have an account on this forum. The Awareness does not have hands and it is not able to have a forum account. That's only something an illusion/something relative can have. Trust me, Awareness/God LOVES the human experience. Why else would there be so many of us.
