  1. Lets take a step back and make things simple. I see more mindfuck than necessary. Je suis I am The quality of I am is common in all experiences and all people. The masterful Jesus had a message of staying present to the Iam being now. Not that I can be sure, but that's what I gather from my limited understanding of his teachings. When we put i in Jesus we get Jesuis, which translates to I am in french. It appears french has a pretty good pointer. Let the I ( Jesuis) get more known to the I am, by means of directing awareness on the locationless I am, rather than immediately associating the I am with a form that is localized in space and time. Notice how you always associate the I am with a form, even if you've been in nonduality for a long time... Its sometimes a very subtle form of identification with form, but its there. Now Bring some more light ? to the locationless I by staying present to the Je suis in which all forms arise and letting That know itself. I am trying to be most precise and helpful in this, i don't want to confuse anyone. Tell me if you need clarification on this "exercise". Love
  2. Everyone has a different story. Thats why I am not really interested in stories. I am interested in what the story is written on.
  3. Thanks, I appreciate the guidance. It's a great pointer, i think the same as what I was trying to suggest. The moon is ametaphor here tho, so this Iam im talking about is not the Iam localized in mind /body and nor ourside of mind/body. It does not have a shape and a size, its a quality. It's beingness, cannot be pointed to directly and perfectly, because it "doesnt exist" as you say. It is not a form. But you are it. I am not trying to intellectualise here too much. I want this to be practical, not theoretical. I am pointing to the gold out of which the jewels of beings are made. Not the individual jewel. So you cant say I'm missing the sky, because that's what im pointing. Otherwise I would say that the I am has a subtle individual form. Also I have not mentioned, but the small Iam which is individuated can give up all it knows, to this great Iam which is all. The JesUS which is ALLah. To give up all concepts and definitions, to not cling to a certain way. They don't get lost, there is just a resting, purifying and purging while this giving up is done. In this resting in the greater I we become ignorant, we become newborn like babies, just like every time we go to deep sleep, but fully consciously and aware. This is the communion, this is Love, this is Light and bliss. In this state of no-self we can begin to shine more light and see our connectedness with not only those who follow our pointer, but with all beings. Not just Christians or Buddhists, not just those who share our worldview, not just humans even. all beings. This is not enlightenment yet, enlightenment happens through grace, not brute force, trickery or trying. It does not happen through intellectual understanding, but the intellectual can serve as a map. "The maps is not the territory ", but without a map you are way way way more likely to get lost. That doesn't mean to cling to the map and to say no other map is valid. And also that doesn't mean all maps are valid too. I trust my intuition and my heart on these matters. I can see when there is sincerity and authenticity, and when I am fed with some distraction. It happens through surrender and its not up to me and you. It's all up to the great IAM, the sky if you will, the @Essence
  4. Hey, what a sweeet deal. Enlightenment is like a joke. If you go about explaining it, the point is missed
  5. I'll give you some, they are in my wish list, I haven't bought them yet. "Interior Castle" by St. Teresa of Avila "Experiencing God Directly: The Way of Christian Nonduality" "The Spiritual Guide" By Michael Molinos
  6. That's what anyone who clings to a particular world-view or belief will claim. It doesn't matter if the seeing was true, Jed McKenna unconsciously individuates the Truth based on his human conditioning. Truth gets filtered and becomes an approximation. You are not alone. The rational mind will distort the Truth every single time. Lets not try to explain the unexplainable, because we end up not honoring the Truth of it.
  7. It's a nice place to post this @VeganAwake its worth a watch trust me its great
  8. @VeganAwakeOh yeah lol, references please ! Before enlightenment : No references, after enlightenment : references Btw I see the fix of this problem here. If one doesn't see tradition as dogma and limitations, but rather as a song/poetry, we will not be having this discussion at all. So sure, time doesnt exist and etc but there is still a lot of beauty in songs and poetry, and those happen in time really and are enjoyed for what they are, even if they are not ultimately real. Illusion of phenomena is beautiful and should not be suppressed, should be embraced <3
  9. You should check out the Bhagavad Gita (The song of the Lord) for the correct Advaita Vedanta teachings. You also may want to watch the commentary of Ira Schepetin on youtube on it too. Do not throw away the baby with the bathwater by saying traditional approach is wrong and direct approach is wrong. Both are right and wrong and neither lel, you are committing the same fallacy by posting this, as if this text is now the absolute wisdom we should follow. Hehe let me ask you who knows this no-one that realises there is nothing to seek?
  10. You did not read the other side of my post? Oh ok. I see. You are right, because you are right. No amount of logic can change that you think there is no logical connection between Jesus and Je suis. Notice how Jesus says Before Abraham was, I AM (not I was) Why is he saying it in present tense? Because he is talking about the reality beyond space and time. He is talking about the universal I am. Really you saying there is no logic between them does not mean that you have let me "in peace with my lack of logic" because I know the logic behind what I am saying and I am presenting it clearly for anyone with eyes to see. My conscience is clear, it is not up to me whether you get what I say, just don't be so arrogant to just dismiss what I'm saying and keep repeating your old story. Its ok that you thought there is no logic, but why go out of your way to ignore my explanation of how there is logic? To fit your original narrative, that's why. Have a good day too!
  11. Je Suis does mean "I am" in french. Jesus pointed that the I am in him is the I am of all. Do you see the logical connection now? At least I see it as logical, for me. Again, if he did not teach that, that's my mistake, but you can see why I find the connection. Please have more patience. I honor that you are feeling a bit triggered, but shouting "I am right" and then leaving the room is not something which shows much respect to Truth.
  12. It is my understanding, be it erroneous or not, that Jesus taught that the Self in him is the Self in all. And that his true Self is beyond form, beyond space and beyond time. I am not a bible scholar and do not want to talk on a fundamentalist level and I am not obsessed with language used. You call this a theory, but I am not trying to present a theory here.. Call it a happy synchronicity. It really is missing the point to call this a theory. It's more of using the value of different symbols to point to that same isness/being in all. I could have just as easily wrote this thread as: The "I am" in you is the "I am" in Jesus and the "I am" in Buddha. It is not something to be believed its a pointing to an actual seeing now. Can you not go past thinking that I want to present to you some gospel here?
  13. Yes, I could have used any other enlightened master. But this post was spontaneous. It just appeared as inspirational, not something I am trying to imply or to put as Jesus's teaching or intention. It's not a teaching, it's a pointing that somehow felt clear to me, but it seems you are interpreting it the wrong way, because you are trying to defend a strawman Jesus, rather than look at the Christ Consciousness which is here now and Jesus (for me) was all about. It's about actualizing the actual i, its not about the label that is used to get there. I only used this label, because it is associated with Truth. I know that fundamental Christians do not gel with mystical Christianity and deny the direct teachings of Jesus, because they are seen as gnostic rather than faith-based.
  14. Do not fixate on the finger pointing at the moon. My post is not about how Jesus literally means I am and that's why he had this name. No. And I am aware that french comes after Jesus. That does not mean that Je suis is still not a great pointer. @Preety_India notice how you talk about the "I am" pointed at here as some "I am" that is associated with a body or any other sort of localized identity (ego). Hence you think I am talking about an egoic I am which is associated with one person rather than all. What is being pointed at here is the identity of All, the gold out of which all jewels are made, the ever present mystery. Please re-read the post without thinking I am making some claims about a historical figure or about language, but rather try to follow what is being pointed at, as a present moment reality of your very own existence. The Je suis pointed to here is not the form identity (i.e. I am a bracelet) but the quality identity (i.e. I am gold and so is the ring over there and the other bracelet, even if they look different to the way I look and even if they say and believe different things)
  15. even smartarse appears in consciousness so you're alright!
  16. You're intellectualising a bit too much and projecting that I need your pointers. Really relax a bit I do the same mistake. Take this seeing and keep marinating. Its like seeing myself so I cant blame you I do the same thing. You are getting too excited of being nothingness. That's still not enlightenment. There's more, but this is important step. This step is all about purification, so stay calm, stay present beyond form. Glad you are here.
  17. Wrong, Iamness/beingness is common in both reality and illusion. Beingness is Truth beyond reality and illusion. Solipsism is enlightenment seen through the bottleneck of a localized I am/ being. Remove the container.
  18. I just wanted to add that for you the present moment is intellectual because you are not paying attention to the direct experience of the present moment. I am not talking about a concept. The present moment is something verifiable and at the same time very mysterious no-thing. It is synonymous to whatever you are trying to point to, but you will not accept another pointer to it, because your "enlightenment " is intellectual. Thats why you intellectialise that my answer is intellectual instead of checking in with direct experience to confirm. Hahaha but don't take it too seriously. Your pointings would be good if you didn't show them from an egoic state of consciousness.
  19. Thats a hyper enlightened response omgee I would be impressed if there was an i ?
  20. Yes, my peepee! How is the now intellectual? Its a pointing, its not what you think, it's what your thinking appears in. Its absolute. <3 I literally get what you are pointing at, you don't need to preach self inquiry to the choir ??? Like do you understand that anything I post on this forum you can call intellectual, because you see your idea of what I say, not what I mean by what I say... Ya get me?? If you feel you understand what the present moment is, you're not theeere yet ????
  21. Disidentify with the I you can know. Whether there's practice, Or there's no practice, You are not the one who does it You are not the one who doesn't do it. Am so enlightened right now you can use me as your night light to read tonight
  22. There we go, those psychedellics! Everything else you say is good, except it sounds a bit too neurotic to me. Like meditation should be a joy, letting yourself in God's hands should be a joy!! Not a serious doing. Woooosh lets breathe It is now, it is here. There is nothing but God. Amen
  23. I don't trust Leo. But every time he has said something even if I disagree, I see later on my journey that he was right. I don't usually go back to give credit, but I don't think he's doing these things for credit. He is actually here to help us and himself, we are all on the same boat. We all see this Truth from different angles and approach the mindfuck in different ways. There can be misunderstandings and sometimes Leo can use teaching devices that go over the student's head. But later the student understands if he is sincere and he looks. Those are my 2 cents. But I still don't like the fact that Leo is not looking for ways to enlighten people without psychedelics. Thats why I am working on that. We must use that which is always already available, otherwise the path is limited to the availability of a substance and not everyone can follow. Boom lets go baby! To enlightenment and beyond
