  1. But many advanced spiritual people say that enlightenment being rare is a myth? (Or worded differently, I do not remember the exact thing)
  2. Unfortunately being unsuccessful money-wise is part of the reason of my situation, so I can't see a psychiatrist/psychologist. I do read psychology books however and spiritual ones. I wouldn't consider myself mentally ill (probably no-one does, but still), the reason I was ready to end my life was that I didn't believe I have the energy to keep "fighting" and also had the realization that life is infinite a couple of days before - I can't really explain it, but I had these "memories" that after I've died before (previous lives?) I suddenly am in the most beautiful place one can imagine and that my whole "life" was an illusion / hell. I was ready to see if I was right. Also my suicidal attempts were triggered by the loss of a lot of money, so I wouldn't worry about me going to be doing anything like that in my life again, especially after I've started to dig deep into my emotional states with meditation and with the ability to stop thinking.
  3. I disagree with your view. Life is not an ego fest of who will gain more than the rest and "level up". Life is for enjoying it. If there are levels, however, they would not be associated with monetary gains or intelligence, but with enlightenment, consciousness levels. The way you put it is too Ego involved and that is a model we want to get rid of (I think). The reason we want to get rid of it, is because it creates a lot of suffering, a lot of unfulfilled desires and at the end of one's life he asks himself "While I've been doing all this time, I forgot to just be." An enlightened and poor money-wise person, lives more fully and fulfills his life purpose (to live) more fully than a rich businessmen that has it all in the world of form, but has not learned how to be and therefore does not appreciate life at it's fullest.
