Can anyone explain why people claim it's the simplest and easiest truth if they had to take a drug to get there? And if it didn't stick?

It seems like procrastination and bad habbits easily can become a thing for the spiritual, because of the following truths: There is no free will and you are not the body/mind. The mind can twist these thoughts in order to travel the easy road and I am led to believe the easy road is not the one that will reap the most spiritual benefit. Could you do a video on this, I am sure you will improve and even save a couple lives. @Leo Gura

Hey Leo, this is Dodo for Actualized.org Forum, and in today's video suggestion...! It would be awesome if you made a short video to schedule a group meditation session for as many beings as possible who follow your videos. When I made a thread about a group meditation here on the forum it went rather well and people seemed to enjoy it a lot! It would be 10000x better, however, if you would schedule something like that, because it'd be more public and more eyes will see, obviously, more beings will join. I bet the actualized community will not want to miss a meditation session with the man himself! Extra idea: Including a live stream

I was contemplating that, how can there be growth and change outside of time? The first rule of the timeless is no-change - for if there is change, that in itself means time. Maybe the timeless and changeless loves this illusory game just as much as some of us love playing pc games - that doesnt mean that the individuals in the pc game have to love it

Have you read any Charlie Morley? He opened me up to lucid dreaming long ago with one of his books and I've been meaning to (unsuccessfully) return to the practise. I learned from his book many different ways to reach lucid dreaming and after just a week practise I managed to get in. Then I just stopped after a couple, but I wish to return as I said earlier. Also from Charlie's book I've learnt that if you are able to in a dream sit down and meditate, it will be like many many times stronger than meditation in waking state. Btw, maybe forgot to mention, his book is exactly about what you ask Spirituality and Lucid dreaming! The two are connected, simply because it seems to me to be beneficial to be able to experience another state of consciousness and contemplate on who you truly are. So anyway, I haven't been able to sit down and meditate in a lucid dream yet, because I always gosh darnit, always begin to fly!! (Well not always, in one of them I decided to smoke a bong and see what happens - surprise surprise, I lost lucidity) I did meditate once in a normal dream though, on top of a tree, was kinda epic So yeah, combine!!!! Combine for sure. When your lucid dreams become better and clearer, it will be like an extension to your day, you will have more opportunity to practise than unconscious sleepers. PS: Once I had a lucid dream in which the content was entirely a tablet screen with a words written on it, a book. I realised it was a dream because I was trying to read and every time I moved my eyes, the text changed and also the text was unintelligible, it was super weird and awesome!! I was just this eye movement only, observing the text from left to right and right to left knowing I was in a lucid dream but only having the function of watching the text

I like to think that dropping beliefs one by oone is not the way. Its too slow and as you said, new ones grow in there place. To get rid of false beliefs, we need to only look at one false belief, the root of all others. People in the past have already discovered this for us and we are receiving the highest teachings on a silver platter. The only belief worth investigating really is the belief that you are * The I thought. It's like the literal root of all the rest and when you drop that one, all others will be cut of from their food source and die too! Good luck on your journey. I would suggest Ramana Maharshi's self enquiry, as he has stated to be the quickest and most direct path to this realisation

Hey, so if being pure consciousness is better than being a body-mind form, why is there the illusion of body-mind? Why does consciousness create this sick game if it is pure love? Most humans, we are super identified with being human, even if we claim otherwise by having intellectual understanding or even experience... How come one can be empty consciousness and why would it be better to be that?? Oh damn my mind wants to understand the un-understandable again... Please give me some helpful video or your own thoughts... PS: How does anyone know that consciousness can exist without a medium through which to function (without something to be conscious of)? So maybe we can't have pure pure consciousness without any illusion of form...?

Think the ultimate truth of all religions is the same....... If it is of the mind, it can't be ultimate, because mind is changeful, the ultimate truth HAS to be non-conceptual, it HAS to be the ultimate, no matter what anyone thinks or believes, it HAS to be the truth like always without a doubt even if nobody knows it. We have to see what can that "thing" be that cannot be challenged and is always and true for everyone, absolutely everyone and anything. The ultimate truth, no less

But if they truly know from their own experience that there is only one, like for a fact, beyond doubt/belief, that means the ultimate, does it not? There is a difference between personal belief and realising the ultimate truth through your own experience. I think the statement : "Everyone has their own truth" is a childish statement designed to not hurt a single ego/mind in attempt for everyone to be happy with their understanding of reality... But I think egos should be shattered, even mine right now, fucking shatter me

I'm gonna be smart and say if you had the 1st here, then you can say the latter without it being a limiting belief :D, because if it's a personal revelation that it is all one, then this is the way it is for everyone, because there is only one. I'm just being a clever lawyer, now I will shut up

I do believe the spiritual masters that I'm watching . Indeed, what you say is great, and it's awesome that you don't believe what you have not experienced yourself, but for me there is this knowing when someone is being sincere. When so many sincere beings are saying the same things my mind has no other choice than to believe what they are saying - YES - belief is not necessary, but I think is helpful. I believe they do not speak from mind, they have lost the sense of self, which is located anywhere and speak from the Self. Speak as God, as consciousness itself. I trust their hearts you can say!

I know I told you I totally agree with the neti-neti method and self enquiry (or maybe I didn't tell you). But this does not mean that everything is not you. Every single thing one by one is not you, but Everything together? Why do you not believe about the end point of non-duality if you follow nonduality teachers? Not that you have to believe, but we're having a forum conversation, so I don't want to circlejerk around

My current understanding is that the Mind is not real, but the illusion of it is needed in order for life to be. Mind made by awareness just like the tail of the comet is made by the comet, but the comet is not actively creating the tail, it is just happening, and then the comet takes itself to be the the tail, because it doesn't see itself, but it sees what is behind it. Just what @zazed was talking about: The witness cannot see itself as an object, but here is where we differ since I've read and seen too much non-duality teachings of many masters who say the same story - awareness can sense it's own presence. It is not an object to be seen, it is the eternal subject, and the eternal subject is the only 'thing' that can be aware of the eternal subject - the mind cannot know infinity or nothingness, although it can talk about them. It can point to them.

I would say, that the mind is not aware of the witnessing, it's awareness that is aware and the mind is just a tool which helps to make sense of and store the things you are aware of in the now, because mind does not exist in the now, it exists only in past, or so my mind thinks Using an earlier analogy which I intuit to be right- the mind is only the tail of the real, which is the witness ultimately. Without the witness, there is nothing, without the comet, there is no tail. The tree falling doesn't make a sound. In fact there is no tree, because all of the illusion is the tail of the comet that is real. You are aware, the mind is your tool to use and you express yourself through it.

Here's a question to you: Who is the one saying I am not this, I am not that, etc.. Is it the silent observer that only witnesses or the noisy ego that does things. You are defending yourself and your position, we are still playing a game of Ego. We don't have to agree with each other yes. If you are not any thing, what are you defending here and why do I feel defensiveness when someone tells you you're wrong. There is still identification, you may be the witness, but the Ego does not yet seem to me like an integrated one. These thoughts come from my point of vew ofcourse. I am disagreeing with your ego and the mind's interpretation, not disagreeing with you, awareness. Also its not me who is disagreeing, but my mind, my Ego, since you already claim to know I am the witness, why are you not Ramana Maharshi?

So the thinker that I currently kinda by force of habit identify with, even though I acknowledge im also witnessing can continue to think actively and I should just hold attention on the witness also? Following my previous post - The Halo is the form of a 0 and is on top of the Body *- that may just be a symbol for what I just said - awareness, 0, no self realized.

@Prabhaker I agree with you, but there are some things that just science cannot talk about, but maths (the only true science) can : Those are 0 and infinity. We can map, on the level of mind what happens with enlightenment - I'm only speculating, but I see no real fault to doubt my reasoning: My goal is to represent the entire enlightenment journey with mathematical formula that will prove even to the thickest mind/Ego that it should forego a journey to find their true nature. When one trully becomes aware they are just awareness, this is when you reach being 0, from appearantly being something between 0 and infinity. Now that you truly are 0, you have no other choice, but to float on top of everything, just like you've always done and even be aware of infinity, because you are THAT light. Since you are 0, you not only merge with it, you are it, because there is nothing else. There is only the numbers 1,2,3,4…. Only they are supposedly real, but with enlightenment we see that only 0 and infinity are real and the numbers 1,2,3… are illusions, caused by the reality of 0 and infinity, they are the play of life, the finite numbers. 0 AND infinity(God)? But that's two! Infinity + 0 = Infinity = 100% = 1 whole = Non Duality = You, because ISNESS. If you are more than 0, you cannot merge with everything, become everything, reach samadhi and BE GOD - God is not nothing, God is Everything. The experience of Ego is also part of God, part of Everything and I can see how as long as I take myself to be a thing, I will only be apparent PART of everything and will be impossible for me to merge with it. It's a finite number. What do you think? I just love maths, next is experience, but you must agree, there needs to be something that will be helpful to ultra logical people to begin their journey and reach what @zazed claims to have "reached". I do aknowledge that you can be the truth but are not saying the truth intellectually perfectly, which is understandable, because the truth cannot be expressed in words and also the real @zazed is not typing here, he is just observing his Ego type just like me and everyone else, because we all are 0 already, we just don't know it yet, well I don't, many of you have probably already reached this state of knowing called Enlightenment. I'm a 0 that has merged into an Ego, because maybe I think of it as my everything, but I am aware of other things as well and know for a fact my Ego is not everything, it is not God My attempt is to do it with maths, which is far stronger than words. I also aknowledge that this is not experiential truth, but an intellectual truth is also something that I hold valuable and, again, I want to stress that people with ultra logical minds need to be nudged towards the experiential truth through logic. They won't listen to something else. If we want true Enlightenment and the end of suffering for All human beings, not just for ourselves, we need to think of new things and not only be selfish and think about ourselves! This is counter spiritual TLDR: You are nothing (awareness, 0), God is everything(infinity) - Awareness merges with God automatically, we have NonDuality, the only reality. You merge with God and from this standpoint you've always been that, you were just taking yourself to be a number between 0 and infinity for the lols?

Isn't this the first step, then the next step after realising you are awareness is to merge with everything and realise you Are everything, so in fact the whole time you were aware of yourself and only yourself AKA non-duality AKA everything is awareness and nothing else exists, nothing else is real. Im talking on the level of mind, I am yet to get step one to be consistent But I definitely understand what you're saying. A lot of self enquiry under my illusory belt But I still believe I'm saying the truth here, because of definitions, meaning, the thing the word Non Duality points to cannot in any shape or form include more than one things. ANd if you believe in the NonDual hypothesis, you shouldn't stop at separation between you, subject and observed, object.
