The Void would contain within it absolutely everything. That means the Void can be seen both as dark and empty and bright and full. In order to get to the Bright and Full, we need to see the Dark and Empty. Edit: In essence, to see the fullness of every experience one has to realize the empty nature of all experience.

I am not describing the void. If it is not clear, I already told you that emptiness, void, zero, etc are pointers. I know they are concepts. But what do they all point to? I say they point to who you are. How far in are you with your self enquiry? If you want results, you have to go for it. Void = Absence of anything Zero = Absence of anything Zeroth Dimension = Absence of anything Emptiness = Absence of anything Void = Zero = Zeroth Dimension = Emptiness = Pointers. Your true self =? Absence of anything If "Your true self" = Something, this is the current boat - This already we know is what is commonly called Ego. Therefore "Your True Self" = Void = Zero = Zeroth Dimension = Emptiness = Absence of anything. These are still just pointers, but that doesn't make the equation between them wrong. Non of them are IT. Only You are it. Go self enquire and find it out for yourself. Please don't be allergic to pointers and maths. Void, Zero, Zeroth Dimension, Emptiness, Absence of anything - They are ALL pointers, what do they point to? I say they point a finger directly at YOU.

Zero is also, in it's actual nature the absence of anything. What's your point, really? Just because we have a symbol for it, doesn't mean you are seeing zero or that it exists. 0 means the absence of anything, that's EXACTLY what it points to. Why are you against the pointer Zero and you are all for the pointer Void. You yourself mentioned that "the word void is still too much for it", this is absolutely obvious to me and everyone on the spiritual path. We know what pointers are. I don't understand how you got rep for your comment, it's obvious wtf moment from you, sorry Soul.

Don't you understand that you've never seen Zero? It Is the void, it is emptiness, all these words point to the same thing. They are synonymous. All words are pointers here as you might have guessed. Not my fault that your conditioning has made 0 into a concept for something trivial and void for something non-trivial. Did you watch the video?

What he is talking about is literally finding less than a needle in a haystack, so for the rationalising mind it is going to sound fantastical and impossible of course. This Truth with a capital T cannot be perceived by the 5 senses, because the 5 senses originate and report to the one who can perceive this Truth, because the very one that can perceive this Truth is this Truth, it is You and it is the thing that is less than a needle in a haystack. You wouldn't be able to find this Truth if you weren't this Truth. That's how tiny it is. It is the null dimension. The haystack is all the delusion.

Self enquiry cuts you off from the stream of mind and stills the mind leaving only you. This is the very process which if used properly can make you forget even a cigarette addiction like it is nothing. It's one of the ultimate self help devices. (My view) Can you see how it works? Whenever you perceive anything, you don't go towards the object, you try to turn towards the one who is perceiving it (you are that), leaving the pattern cut off, it is no longer fed. If you want higher consciousness, then you are still identified with the character and happenings in the movie and not with the screen of consciousness, which is a constant and unchanging, is within and without everything, is everywhere at the same time yet it cannot be perceived by the 5 senses.

I want to add to this: Mantra indeed is used to quieten the mind, just as concentration on breath. This, however is only a temporary ailment for mind. If one wants to be forever free from the depths of Ego, one must go for the path of Self enquiry. Self enquiry is to be done whenever possible, not only in a sitting meditation. Any time mind is not required for some task one should enquire as to whom do all these thoughts arise. This is not to be done in waiting for mind to tell you what you are. Mind already has the ultimate definition that it can use - Consciousness, Emptiness, Awareness, etc... The enquiry is to be done by the very You, the deepest sense of You that you can find within you, the very subject of your experience. Find it. Look for the apparent thinker of thoughts and the perceiver of perceptions and see who's looking.

You are smaller than the dot after this sentence. You are also smaller than the dot after this sentence. You are the dot after this sentence -- The funny looking statements above are meant to target you, the subjective experiencer. Notice how the last sentence says that you are basically emptiness - this is not news for you, your mind has heard it many times for sure! What I want to be understood is that if anyone has not given up trying to find the Truth with the mind, it is going to be a losing battle. Why? Because I am claiming with 100% certainty that the dot after the last sentence is everywhere all the time, it contains within itself the entire Universe and yet it is smaller than a point. By surrendering mind in this quest we allow simply being to guide us. We are always ourselves, we are always this all pervading One consciousness. We HAVE to drop the mind in order to experience this. The mind is a bottleneck that will keep us stuck in identification with subtle or not so subtle forms. So let us drop it for this enquiry! Mind is stubborn, but you are so much bigger than mind. PS: Watching Mooji and Adyashanti for help is a good way to learn how one can drop the mind and experience oneness.

I like that you share my excitement and trust in the power of numbers, it's a first on this forum. I always associate mathematics as the ultimate language (a way of finding truth).

@Snick-The ThinkTank Hehehe while I do think this is can be the correct mapping of the truth on paper, this is still not the experiential truth the spiritual teachers try to guide to, but you know that I'm sure. But I'm looking with this type of explaining to be able to show logical minds that there could be something there that can be uncovered and start the self enquiry process! But it is the very self-enquiry process that gives me this mapping, because I am able to get glimpses. Who And so the enquiry continues As Sam Harris says, I have no more control over the next thought I think than the next word you say. Experiencing that "true 0" (awareness, you) free of content (forms in awareness) should be the goal for every spiritual seeker! (And it can only be experienced NOW!!) Go Snick!

I like it that someone understood/read this I think most people have allergy to numbers. Also I was just hit by the realization that if that which I am seeing is illusion, false, that means it is untrue, that means it is a mirage, nothing, 0 ultimately. It is just perceived as something by the true 0 that we are Mindfucking. So everything we see is the untrue nothingness and the one that sees is the true nothingness, but that which we see is still who we are Just the false us in an ultimate sense
