If you claim to know me, you mean that I am no-one too and hence you, right? Well if you really knew that, you would also know that "I love you" is irrelevant. You're basically lying, because you know other's definition of "I love you" is not "I love myself" nor "nobody loves nobody". Even though in your reality you might be saying the truth based on your definitions and interpretations. Enough said from me here. Some random guys saying I love you to me on forum without ever showing kindness in any way in time of crisis is not doing it for me, not my love jam.

Nobody loves unconditionally. Everyone here who claims they are love are also claiming they are no-one. But at the same time they are writing as someone. It's the Ego taking the Truth and warping it. No guys, you dont love everyone, especially if you never met them and don't know who they are. Unless you are telling me you know me when even I don't know me. (is that what you're saying? I mean could be..)

Prove it, do something for him and everyone else you say you love. Love on words is the easiest thing. A true gesture of love is to help those who are down. Like trully if you loved them unconditionally you would spare no expense to make their life amazing for the price of your even.

If I have to believe everything the spiritual books say like I am love, i am God the creator, then unconditional love created the raper in the first place. Unconditional love is perverted and therefore could probably at the same time be called unconditional hate, because it created all illusion and negativity too.

I know about that, my mother has been showing me a lot of tough love too. I've hated her for it too and I still resent her for pushing me so much to "succeed". I keep on pushing her away, she keeps on giving love. No, I'm sorry, there's no such thing as unconditional love. Maybe only from parent to child is the only love that can come close or actually is this. But it's not unconditional because the condition is to be related. See what I mean? :-D All other love is fakery, wishful thinking or simply attachment

I don't even know what it means to have a glimpse of something and know it is the truth. Always raises my third eyebrow when I read about this certain knowing in spiritual books. For me whatever I experience in or outside meditation is just this, an experience and it doesn't prove to me anything for certain. How can it?

@Toby Depends what the definition of love is. Only my mother has proven to love me unconditionally by my definition of love. Trust me there have been many conditions to trigger the opposite. I've also heard the flashy "you are love" a lot, and it's a nice belief to have, but I don't like believing.

Well there is something rather than nothing I guess But is it much to ask for peace and quiet? Is it much to ask to be in equilibrium with our environment? I really hate where Ego is taking humanity. I despise computers, while addicted to them and having to work with them. I am always feeling like a fish forced to climb trees. I just want peace and quiet. I think I've decided to quit my job.

In my first hand experience there is no such thing as unconditional love. If I said otherwise, I will be a bullshitter. See the post above already states that the condition for "unconditional" love is truth.

I feel like people are inconsiderate noise and air polluting jerks. If the universe is my body, humanity is the cancer to be exterminated. Thats my reasoning for liking isolation! (Also why when I'm out, I usually take some earplugs with me) I don't think it's bad.

I'm sure it has been asked, but it this monkey mind has a strong valid point?? If god is utterly complete, why would separation arise. If God is enough unto itself (beyond time and space), why would time and space even arise? It feels like God is missing something in it's original form (beyond time and space) and what it is missing is time and space, so they are created... The timeless is incomplete, it needs timeYES. God is incomplete, it needs 7billion+ Egos to feel complete I guess..... !

Not a fan of what you wrote, because I value knowingness over belief (as you may know from our conversations). What I mean is that you've expressed in your post things that you believe as if they're fact. (Something that I've encountered many times with my ex gf btw! :-D ) With the second bold statement it can be clearly seen how you've kind of separated humans from God's masterpiece. Humans are just as part of creation as things around us, so in essence you're saying that the gift is ruining the gift. Ruined for who? The gift itself?

My favourite game ever is actually super duper spiritual! I am talking about StarCraft! This is a game that I've played for years now. I started playing as Zerg (The creepy swarm), but after a year, I transitioned into Protoss (The shiny guys ^^) . I've played all expansions: Wings Of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and now Legacy of the Void I cannot believe that I only now become aware of how the Protoss are saying all these highly spiritual things during gameplay! They are far from peaceful warriors, but in dire times war can be the only option! Here are quotes that I've selected which the units say when you are controlling them. I think you touch on a really nice paradox here. In the same fashion as the paradox of fixed positions, one cannot do nothing, because this is a doing in itself. The only point of resolution of this paradox is at the 0 point, where there is no I to do or not do, only then can true "do nothing" be.

Yeah, I enjoy programming for myself creatively, and I've written one cool useful desktop app which I just love to improve. However at work it's different. I am far from a good programmer and it's a constant effort and struggle for me.

Perhaps in India they need more doing teachings?

I'm seeing how I am identified with being the body and mind during meetings and work. And I have to be in order to perform and remember past relevant information that I need to bring forward... Also im required to think about future and estimate time for completing tasks... I get what you're saying with stopping thinking now. Means to let consciousness be on the foreground, as Ekhart says, and when you have to do and think, it is there in the background, and he claims that is the true mastery, of holding the awareness of being the midst of doing as well. He's been stressing that he's not against doing in his recent talks, but his teachings are more on the being side, because that's what is needed for the balance.

Your present experience is exactly this - a present. That's how I feel about it. At times, however, it changes the letters around and the present slips away, becomes a slippery serpent. That's when you're in the shithole of life, enduring hardships, thinking "Why me, ffs?? I don't want to be here, I don't want to be doing this. How am I so unlucky? etc" - Those are the wrong questions, because they fuel the suffering (self enquiry is the right question, but that's not the point of this post, although it should be helpful ) The best analogy is with the dream state. You become someone else in the dream state, yet you still are you in there. You are not that dream entity, yet inside the dream you behave as if you are it without questioning. How can that be? Translate that in waking life and see how it is possible that you are not the body nor mind, but are something deeper, that you haven't yet even seen (as the waking-dream entity, just as the dream entity doesn't know it is you (the sleeping man in bed), until it becomes enlightened (lucid dreaming) ). So I project Enlightenment as lucid waking. Same thing, different levels and dimensions. Open your mind to the possibility that you truly don't know who you are and that you have not seen your true self (This is paraphrasing one of Leo's suggestions somewhere on the forum that has stuck with me deeply to this day and fuel my self enquiry). Now the journey to the center of the Earth of your being can begin. Thinking about these things is just chit chat that doesn't help, it's the logical mind dissecting and making sense of things. The logical mind wants to create "A Theory of Everything" or formula for Enlightenment. I don't know if those goals are possible, but for sure in a probabilistic dream such as this, actively participating in Enlightenment work and following the spiritual teachings is a sure way to increase your probability of becoming an enlightened (awakened, lucid) character in the dream of consciousness. Ofcourse I do not know that for certain, but I project my understanding into what I think (believe) is true based on my observations. I am not attached to that position, and could be very wrong. Best is not to think about things that are unprovable in the first place. Best is not to attach to any position - I am Ego, I am Enlightened - both are positions. To be truly Enlightened, I project that one should not have any fixed positions. But that is impossible as long as there is an I, because of the following paradox I already posted about on the forum: To have no fixed positions is a fixed position in itself. It can only be achieved in the 0 point, where the I becomes 0, there truly can be no fixed positions, because there is no-one to have them.
