  1. I see your point, but experientially even belief belongs to that field of awareness, and it is verified in experience, therefore is not a belief. There's the difference. @egoless It's not about me proving it to you in words. As the Tao te ching says "the truth that can be spoken is not the truth". It's about you experiencing the truth for yourself. Not intellectually. I am only typing out an intellectual understanding, because you asked me to entertain you. This understanding is shaped by my self-enquiry practice of 1 year
  2. What is true absolutely will be true in any layer. And yes, awareness is nothing, but in your experience, are you aware? Frankly idgaf if we are in a dream within a dream within a dream or if we are in the matrix or whatever other mind paradigm is thrown out there... I am aware now always, this is all I need to investigate awareness.
  3. My purpose is not to philosophise, but to find truth. Enlightenment and truth is more about practice than about theory, because as you can see from my paradigm's point of view every philosophical point the bodymind can muster will also be included within me experientially. I am more interested in what That is, rather than the object appearing in That. What is true absolutely in first hand experience is awareness. This is the portal.
  4. The same space that knows everything else. The space of awareness. I like to classify these three paradigms, maybe it may help you. Matter paradigm - you think/believe you're brain and body. Mind paradigm - you think you're something inside the body (Ego) Consciousness paradigm - you know yourself as the wider knowing space in which all experience ( mind, body and world) happens. This space is dimensionless hence cannot be seen or dissected by science. Only you can know it, because it is you.
  5. What knows the feeling? What knows the knowing? What knows the not knowing? Finding that (and abiding as that) is enlightenment (finding the true you, not as a thought or belief, but experientially). Big help is that you are not any form (form includes all mind stuff - thoughts, beliefs, sensations, feelings etc etc).
  6. Don't look at others much for this.. Look at everything as opinion - carry out your own investigation and get your own insights verified by the actuality of your experience. Don't believe in what im saying or anyone else, this is adding to the web of beliefs. Also, I want to add that when someone else tells you something, you may interpret it in a completely different way than they intended to express.
  7. Yeah the "Me" is part of the web. The "web of beliefs" is probably also part of the web of beliefs Lol. These things will be naturally paradoxical to the mind as they should. The believer of the web of beliefs is the initial belief that of I. Who is having the I thought? Well self enquire, I mean its you. Nothingness is the effortless creator of everything.
  8. Sure I'll have a go It's realising the world is a web of beliefs construct, that only experience is real (there is no world ourside you), finding that the experiencer (you) doesn't exist (is nothing, is empty), leaving us with the truth which is relatively absolute and absolutely relative at the same time.
  9. Do I even have a choice? I just take the dosage and let go as far as I know right? The rest is up to God Also I think that being stuck in a job you dont like is more scary than any trip and I lived through that!! Im rdy :-D :-D
  10. Dreams are absolute magic. One of my highlights is Leo literally showing me within one dream experientially that I am the whole dream. I moved as the whole, cant rly explain it. Ps: I just loove drinking your username
  11. @Azrael I will be having my first psychedelic trip end of this year, but I don't even have desire to reach absolute infinity. I feel like my current experience is absolute infinity (or at least infinity) already and I'm just not appreciating it enough. I should probably work on being grateful.
  12. It depends on the paradigm of your reality. If you live in the matter paradigm, brain exists.
  13. Simply place your awareness on the area of the chakra you want to work with. You may also place your hand near it to help you. As I'm writing it im not certain it will do anything, but if anything is real it is awareness, so I like using it for anything and see what happens! :-D
  14. As far as I know, if we are to believe in existence of brain, it changes with every action, so definitely in my mind, mindfulness is probably doing some pretty good changes over there
  15. I feel like this is the same as the character in your dream tonight having those same issues. Consciousness is not gonna leave just because you want to make money! Do what you like, as long as you're in alignment with your true being - Peace, love and joy. -Dream entity 1532521
  16. This. Also I want to add that becoming aware of awareness is like building new muscles. At first it may look like nothing special or that you're not doing anything, but if you do it diligently and long enough, the results cannot do anything else but sneak up on you. @Ilya Also with this analogy, at first it may be a pain in the ass to do it, but later it becomes the most joyful thing to work out.
  17. The experiencer: Awareness, no form, nothing. The experienced: What I am aware of in the present moment, currently including but not limited to being a body-mind living in a world of form, my present moment everything. The experiencer is real, but nothing - Yin The experienced is a dream, but everything - Yang The experiencer and the experienced are one - Yin Yang
  18. Before going to sleep? Do you mean while going to sleep? Well, it usually starts with a visualisation (anything) and I hold continuous awareness on the empty seer, which is me. When time I did this few days ago I experienced flashes of light and later in sleep paralysis I experienced the weirdest freakiest super real thing of my sheets moving as if they are alive
  19. I like self enquiry while going to sleep. What better time to see who you are than when you are free to completely let go of all your tensions etc. I find the previous posts quite helpful, I'll also incorporate some of those things before a formal sitting.
  20. I find myself hugging trees and placing my hand on them, feeling their immense being. Also my hands feel so tiny compared to their magnitude. Teach me stillness trees, love you
  21. I recently feel tingling around that area. I've done quite a bit if third eye meditation that Prab posted above. But had recently stopped it due to fear of hell.
  22. May I suggest that you are always aware effortlessly. You are just not aware that you are aware usually. As Leo mentioned, as you go deeper in self-enquiry you will find that awareness is actually no thing or nothing. Now isn't that fucking interesting????? That, which knows everything in your experience, you, is nothing... Now that's trully worth investigating further.. What could be more interesting?? Something that at the same time is and is nothing. Like wtf, this is sooooooooo interesting and what's best about it, its always there for you to contemplate, because it is you.
