  1. For me too! Although I cant deny its nice to have the opportunity to test spirituality - weather i can live in peace while things are not going my way. It's easy to be at peace when comfortable.
  2. The funny thing is that in nothingness there is no-one left to be afraid. Source: deep sleep
  3. You forget that maybe it's not a belief, but the actual truth in the present moment. Don't throw the baby
  4. The present moment is that fresh untouched by others space where you can let go of past and future and bathe in the current of bliss.lol
  5. Disagree, people judge that which they can't understand - precisely because it is far from what they take themselves to be. People know very well what they take themselves to be, they can't misunderstand that. Invalid statement in my view, maybe valid in yours.
  6. Yeah, the guy was enlightened, check this out. It's funny he almost 1-1 speaks what a spiritual teacher would say, but gets judged as crazy lol
  7. Enlightenment is realising yourself as Parabrahman. Beyond being and non-being. This is not hard to communicate, so your lack of direction of what Enlightenment is shows me you yourself don't know. At the same time you have strong opinions on what it's not. Ego seeps through your comments like a volcano on steroids. Enlightenment is indeed realising your true nature. Perhaps it happens on stages - First you realize your true nature is being/consciousness , then that it is beyond being and non-being. Ofcourse enlightenment means realising your true nature. Your comments show me you've got no clue and just want to look flashy with your comments and try shake the ground for others with fake wisdom. PS: Don't take this too seriously, I'm busting your balls
  8. I like that he has a non-dualistic sign on his forehead.
  9. Honey is sweet. This is not encapsulating honey to the 2d-ness of the word sweet. No, this is simply a description of the taste quality of honey. Saying "Reality is dream-like" is a correct statement exactly as the statement "Honey is sweet". We cannot say with certainty that it is a dream, I agree on that, but saying it is dream-like is definitely an undeniable quality that reality has. Your phobia of concepts does not play a role in the description of reality.
  10. Dream is also a pointer. Most words are pointers. Most words point to something other than themselves obviously. Obviously reality is not the word dream.
  11. All the while you are encapsulating Reality with the word Reality. That's hypocritical!
  12. The more important question is: What are you missing at this moment? Why do you want to know what reality is? When you know are you going to be somehow satisfied?
  13. I just had a huge insight! Monkeys don't have monkey mind O_o Mind = Blown?!
  14. Waking life is dream-like whether you like it or not. That's what I like about truth. It's true whether you like it or not. I don't subscribe to the paradigm where truth is true only if you subscribe to it. That's not the definition of truth I have.
  15. I think you can reach enlightenment infinity^infinity^infinity^infinity^...........infinity^infinity (Infinite amount of times to the power of infinity infinitely) and the whole thing to the power of the above - infinity amount of times. Let's go!
  16. I would guess we all would consider ourselves "non-dualists" or aspiring non-dualists. So the biggest problem we encounter on the path to achieving non duality is this evil demon called the "Ego". So it appears that the only thing that escapes nonduality is this Ego entity. Only in the presence of Ego can one be un-enlightened is what's said (in other words ofcourse). So what is this Ego entity? If it's real then non-duality is not true. If it's not real, then non-duality is already true before we started the search. So what is this 'shedding away of ego layers' people keep talking about. After all in true nonduality, there should not be a difference between Ego and no Ego. That's like pointing at the naked king who thinks he has clothes on... This is so big that it means the following statement is absolutely true: If you are not enlightened now, nonduality is not a correct teaching because there exist an entity beyond non-duality. If you are enlightened, then there is no need for non duality teachings. What's up with that? Based on this, turns out that Neo-Advaita is the most plausible advaita of them all. It has been ridiculed on this forum.
  17. I loved when Leo talked about free speech*. It brought me back to the time when I had the very same insight about freeedom of speeeeeeeeeeeeeech. Which was later limited by the very Leo who talks about it now. Ofcourse I accepted it because it was stated that this forum is not a democracy z_z
  18. I'd have a picnic with him. Seems like a cool dude to be around.
