  4. I wanted to share a photo I took recently of the sun's rays reflected in water droplets, but it seems like I cant find the thread! I did not use any special effects or filters. Just my phone camera and close-up shot! ? ? ? With the naked eye they looked like tiny diamonds. So beautiful, but impossible to capture.

  7. You could also have a look at Charlie Morley's book Dreaming of Awakening. It's a book that is perfectly gelling together Tibetan Buddhism and Lucid dreaming. It has many techniques for how to be lucid. I can outline some of the things you can try out and see if it works: Wake up 2 hours before your actual wake-up time, write down any dreams you remember and then go back to sleep. Close your eyes and be aware while you fall asleep. You might enter a REM cycle right away as you fall asleep. The only step you perhaps will need to do is look at your hand from back and front a couple times. Then you'll know it's a dream, because your hand will not show up correctly! Try it out

(you know, the thing with which you are writing this post / that with which you are interfacing with the world) How does that one do when it's threatened by death?

  19. Well if you don't know, why do you appear so certain that there is no such guide? That's exactly what spirituality is created for! That's why we're here.

  22. Drugs, for me weed, can get you in heaven, but you guessed it - it's not authentic. Authentic means that you're in heaven in your natural state. Otherwise you are always dependent on a substance to get there and that's not something you actually want. You want to find that which is always there which can take you to heaven, because if it's not always there, the absence of it will make you unhappy (obviously). I can definitely smoke some weed and get into Heaven right now, but I find that not doing weed is actually making the waters more still and I can actually see God, because I'm not chasing God.
