  1. I'm interested to know whether the chakras and musical notes (do re mi fa so la si) are coincidentally the same number or not. Could it be that each chakra corresponds to each note or just coincidence?
  2. All of your experiences right now - seeing, listening, sensing, tasting, smelling, perceiving, conceiving appear in the same space of awareness/knowing/you, yes or no? This space is the "0", this aware space is to be explored. This space is the space pointed to by all the teachings. It is borderless, shapeless and ever present. It's the silence behind the noise, the formless behind the form, the no-mind behind the mind, the no self behind the self. To focus on the space, you need a non-practice. The best non-practice I've found comes from Rupert Spira - Answering the experiential question - "How do I know I am aware?" . To clarify - in order to be aware *of something*, you need to set your attention on it. But how do you know, in this moment, that you are aware without the *of something*. In answering that question "Am I aware" or "How do I know I am aware", awareness simply recognizes itself by being itself even though it is something formless. I believe the best embodying process - the process which lets the body-mind tune into/align to that space comes from Eckhart Tolle and it is the answer to the experiential question "How do I know that I have a body?". This shines awareness on the inner body - use awareness on breath whenever you can't feel the energy of the inner body. I can post videos related to those two practices if you want (and if I can find them).
  3. The real you is the one that is aware right now of your desire to stop thinking and your thinking and is silently allowing them to be. ? Think of your mind as the set of numbers [174738, 27473582, 573857, 58385838, 4, 47375839, ...] and your true self as the 0 that is silently behind all those numbers. So you don't really need to make the numbers into 0 to recognise the silence. Just notice it is already present in the midst of noise, just like 0 is present in the midst of 5837583 (5837583=5837583+0)
  4. Imo only fiction can kill fiction, what do you think? How can awareness kill anything, can only give space for it! I'm not interested in killing anything. Illusion/fiction doesn't exist in the first place in order to die, right? Different word must be used - I like dissolve better. But perhaps its also not relevant. Important thing is to be happy. Happy in fiction? GREAT! No need to seek happiness beyond fiction if one is happy within fiction, no?
  5. Few days ago one of you had posted a video of Bentinho Massaro about shifting parallel realities (about 1h40m long). In it, there was a point that he talked about favourite superheroes. My one is Spider-man and today after work, I saw that "The Amazing Spider-man" (2012) was on the TV. I wouldn't really have watched it, because I liked Tobey Maguire and I wasn't accustomed to this new actor, but I decided I'd watch it because of Bentinho. Well I kinda cried when he couldn't do it by himself and needed the help of others to defeat the villain. I've always wanted to "do it myself" , failed and needed the help of those close to me to get back up. The power of co-operation. This is definitely the superhero most close to me. I saw myself also in the villain! But the top of the cherry was the ending, where the classroom teacher said something rather amusing (2:29): "I had a professor once who liked to tell the students that there were only ten different plots in all of fiction. Well I'm here to tell you he was wrong. There is only one. Who am I" Can you be more profound teach??
  6. @rorgheeIm about to drop some seriously deep Eckhart Tolle technique for you. In meditation (which is any moment you are conscious), ask yourself the question: At this moment, how do I know I have a body? And go to the experience. Eckhart says to look no further than the body (this symbol of impermanence) to find our deeper nature beyond form which is eternal. Observe the body. If you find that in any way you internally don't want yo be where you are or not want to be doing what you are, know that this is the 'Pain body'. You only need to observe the pain body - nothing else. It will dissolve by itself. This is Eckhart's moment to moment practice that you can do. And no, you don't need to be sitting. In fact I've found great joy in Standing meditation. Also it's healthier to stand! Break the rules, gold or no gold. Dont be mechanical.
  7. What do you mean? Isn't it enough to recognise it for what it is and let it be? What's the point of killing a fiction, it's just there to entertain dont be an asshole
  8. Well I have had couple lucid dreams and I no longer desire it. I enjoy just the dreams when they appear. I do not put any effort into dreaming or not dreaming. True about the gland, I never seen it, but based on observation by using things and techniques meant to decalcify it, I got results. That's why I was referring to it, even though I am not attached to it's shape. Just trying to communicate a sweet subset of experiences possible. Your comment is spot on tho. Altho desiring things is perfectly inline with the realm of what is. For if you desire something, that's what is. Why judge that. Although if you judge that, that's ok too! That's what is lol. To infinity
  9. I don't see it. It's the name of a gland with a pinecone shape. The romantasized is added by your 'silent' mind. Try seeing what is, without fancy additions by your mind. That way you'd be more objective and not marriing every concept with your ideas. That way you can allow being wrong, when you see something for what it is - regardless of what you think or want it to be. I've accepted being wrong many times because I am not married to myself.
  10. You assume too much, please stop. I do not control dreams. Yes, he is a lucid dreaming teacher, no it's not about control. No, I do not control the dreams nor do I have a choice whether I remember dreams or not. It just happens when I am conscious enough. You also dream, you are just not conscious of them. Perhaps you are not inline with your subconscious. I do not fantasize in the dream state. It happens and I simply acknowledge it. No effort required at all. No controlling, simply letting it happen, like waking life. Dreams can be teachers themselves. Furthermore the waking state is a dream itself, so Ywah you're dreaming. But you have to make friends with your subconscious in order to start enjoying the sleep dream boon. Enjoy your delusions of silent mind. You've actually deadened your mind in my opinion. And also Ego seeps through your comments. Kill that one, not mind. Dreams do not make me tired -It's a fact of my life. I'll tell you what does though - talking to closeminded people who think they have figured it all out. It's my mistake for replying. @Faceless when you decalcify your pineal gland you might find out what you can find in dreams, until then enjoy your delusion of a silent mind (which is actually closed, not silent).
  11. @h inandout im a very quiet guy in the first place. Those lessons at best will just make me whoop the snake's ass with some aikido, still in silence tho ?
  12. What is happening? Non dreaming state means deep sleep and everyone goes through it. What do you refer to? Sorry but I believe you are missing some important nuances. For example the nuance that awareness is always quiet and that is who I am in the very root. The art, @Faceless, is to find the quiet when mind is not quiet. Otherwise you are just running from it and suppressing it. Mind Wants to express and it will. This guy should be the most tired guy on the planet >.< Btw watch it, Charlie Morley is one of my main dreaming teachers. I've experienced so much thanks to him - especially being aware of the magical hypnagogic state.
  13. When i say me, i mean the Ego that is inside of the dream. That little entity that is the first person of the dream. I don't call the entire mind me, only the Conscious part, the rest I have no control over so que sera sera
  14. What do you mean, like trying to find out what my nightmare meant? I dont do readings of the dreams like that. I let them be complete in themselves. Whatever happened happened, its over now. New dream
  15. I haven't seen this as true in my experience. Why do you believe so? For one you caught the worse day for this hypothesis, because my last night's dreams were some of the most vivid ever, and I had one of the best, most wakeful mornings. It was a joy recollecting all the events that happened and re-imagining the most notable scenes. If I were good at painting, it would be the muse that keeps on giving. Dreams like these allow me to live out scenarios which I am not able to live in 'real life'. It happened in a dream, sure, but with such a realistic dream it is like it actually happened you know. An experience is an experience.
  16. Dreams do not make you tired. Especially if they make you even more energised through enthusiasm and wonder.
  17. Why man, dreams are amazing. Last night I was in Germany, i was pretending to be an exchange student witha bunch of friends. They quickly caught us. We had many more adventures afterwards, like climbing down a huge and very narrow staircase to get to some other place. I'm leaving out a lot of small details tho. It was an epic dream. There were a lot of trains for some reason, a lot.
  18. Unless we havent been created! Not That, right? Then, if you're not that, whether God is sorry or not for a creation that is not you becomes somebody else's concern. ?
  19. @Faceless my closest idea of what God is,is the Subconscious mind. Think dreams - who created your dream last night? It wasnt you, because then you'd know what will happen before it happens.
  20. What I also want to say is that if they convinced themselves they are happy, at least it worked for them. They were able to live a long life and not suicide due to unhappiness, because they thought they were happy. From the standpoint of death, does it matter whether they were trully happy or not? Only in the present moment it matters whether you are happy. Death makes everything irrelevant. Sometimes i just think - lets just blow up the entire planet and get it over with. There is no point in it anyway. Unless there is. It's not like if they were actually happy they wouldn't die?
  21. It is different. What about the other part. 'Until they finally die' Perhaps the true happiness follows from there, so they wont miss out anyway. Have to aks you if you have experienced what you're projecting onto retirement to know it to be the case. There are no happy elderly? Nobody who is not in the spiritual path can be happy oh dear
  22. @The White Belt If they convinced themselves they are happy, then this has no qualitative difference than really being happy. Delusional happiness is still happiness. The question is what happens after death. If what happens after death voids the entire experience, then it didn't even matter if they were happy or not in the first place.
  23. I don't need money, I need the freedom money gives in this society. You need money to run your Internet and express your opinion about how you don't need money to be happy. Well then we all should live in the street and it will be absolutely blissful. Why are you not living on the street? Donate me your money that dont make you happy. Only they do make you happy, they just raise the bar on the happiness you can have. You will realise how happy money make you when you lose them all. Would be rather interesting if you could get your hands on psychedelics without money, try it. I don't even need the other stuff, just money, because I am far enough in my meditation practice to enjoy aloneness.
  24. What is a law? Well from the dictionary - "a statement of fact, deduced from observation, to the effect that a particular natural or scientific phenomenon always occurs if certain conditions are present." What is the law of attraction? Some would say it is a way to attract what you desire - proven untrue, because most people don't have what they desire. When this pops up, the usual defense is that the law of attraction is actually attracting "that which you already are". Nice cop out answer, but why would I desire that which I already am? The only conclusion is that law of attraction is either a lie (doesn't work) or useless, because it can only attract that which you already are/have. What's the point of the law of attraction and why are so many buzzing over it? Mostly in America too, because in America things people desire are much easier to get. Funny. There you have less actual obstacles to things, mostly mental ones. Nice place to be born in, but not everyone's that lucky. (Also have to be lucky enough to have a good education/family I guess) If I want a million dollars, I have to be a million dollars? How does one become a million dollars? What is the vibration of a million dollars? Let's rename it to the Lie of attraction, not Law. A Law is something that would work no matter WHAT. This "law" has proven wrong again and again in my experience as I keep not attracting what I want, but the opposite of it in my life.
