  1. If you don't see the connection, doesn't mean it's not there. The separation comment is pretty obviously related to what is being discussed: aka focusing on the inner world rather than the outer (inner outer separation) .
  2. Being addicted to what is within is a safe addiction, because you will have access to it your whole life.
  3. Leo has shared that in one of his deepest trips the best word he could use to describe what was happening was God. Perhaps there is something we don't know, don't just let your logical mind take over such things.
  4. "I am" is the first person singular of "To be". Being, or "Iam-ness", is verifiable by present moment experience. What is not verifiable is the identification "I am this" or "I am that" / being this or that mental or physical object. That is what we call Ego. But being / I-am-ness is not Ego, because it is not made out of thought, it is made out of awareness - instant knowingness.
  5. Absolutely so. Trees are more still and silent than even Eckart Tolle
  6. Have you ever stared at a tree for a long period of time and feel the stillness in that, feel the completeness and perfection of a tree? Feel it within you? Do it! do it!
  7. If you've ever seen an animal, you would know they thoroughly enjoy being. To say they don't appreciate it is a delusion. The mind doesn't always help in appreciating being, it usually works in the opposite direction in fact, that's the reason spirituality is needed in the first place.
  8. That depends where you are looking for yourself when you ask the question "Who am I". Are you looking at the past for the answer, or are you looking at the present moment?
  9. @StephenK Someone once said that if you want to learn something very well, you need to join a forum about that thing. That's what I'm doing here.
  10. Not a god, because there's only one God/reality, so we cannot use "a" before it.
  11. I'm in this forum for the practical stuff that lead to direct realisations.
  12. Are you saying there exists something other than truth?
  13. @Outer AleksM is the only user on the forum talking about electromagnetism. I believe he has gone more deep than most and deep in an interesting direction as well. Perhaps do yourself a favor and judge less.
  14. Yeah, a healthy mix between being and thinking has to be established. Just some go way overboard against thinking. This is usually done by spiritual teachers because of the thought dominance in society, but becoming a vegetable is not that much better than becoming an egoic asshole. In fact you can only afford to be a vegetable if there are egos protecting you in that state.
  15. Beautiful! The only thing I have trouble with is the bit where without thought there is no problem. While that is correct, in my experience i can feel amazing at this moment, but I still have crazy big financial and other types of problems/challenges that wouldn't fix themselves simply by me being and/or wishing then away. I have to think and think hard how to fix those... Yeah I could sit like a happy vegetable, but this would increase my financial bothers and at one point I will have to be in survival mode on the streets. Every time I touch the thoughts about my issues, I get a little panic and twitch in my body because of the bad decisions I've taken. Those decisions could have benedited from thought, but I prefer to let the wind blow me wherever it wants in the hopes of enlightenment... An analogy that I can use to describe my situation us that I'm in a pressure cooker and for now the water is warm and nice, but I know it will become hotter and hotter, then boiling hot. I can either start thinking of an escape from the cooker or I can enjoy myself and just be there, ready to boil. It's not always black and white
  16. Yes please
  17. True for me, because I keep on pissing in my own soup.
  18. I don't think that. When life is a continuous Soup-piss, you might find yourself dreaming of death and those dreams would be the best you've ever had
  19. This comment is so filled with presence and wisdom, that I feel full now just from reading it!!
  20. Man, Leo has gone so deep with these meditations, he has found the heart ♥ for sure. And found his breath. His next MeO would be godlike
  21. My take is that a Buddha wouldn't hold any object as precious and would just let go and do nothing. Ofcourse to our romantic minds this seems like a total asshole move, for example if it's his child, but ultimately consciousness is unaffected whether so called good or bad things happen.
