  1. Ok, but what you don't grasp is that I am talking about the fibonacci sequence, not just 1+1=2. It is extremely common that in this universe you find the golden ratio 1.618... Which is found by dividing one number from the fibonacci sequence with the one before it. Here's the sequence, every other number is generated by the sum of the previous two: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55.... The bigger the pair of numbers you choose, the closer to the golden ratio you get. 55/34= 1.618 to 3 decimal places. Now the golden ratio is found everywhere in nature, including our bodies. It's also the reason 4 leaf clovers are rare, as 4 is not a fibonacci number. This implies that the Universe works in a way that is consistent with the fibonacci sequence and ratio. Now that doesnt mean there is someone out there doing calculations and creating things, but it does mean that the way in which life works or grows has something to do with this mathematical model.

  4. Sometimes you gotta be the kid that points at the king with no clothes. If you have 2 pieces of cake, you will eat more. Twice more than if you have 1 piece of cake. If I have 1/3rd of a cake and you have 1/3rd of a cake, there is 1/3rd of a cake left for someone else. If these don't relate to reality then I'm a donkey.
  5. Maths is not just numbers... It's order, it's intelligence. The universe is intelligent. The ratio is there, even if you don't have a way to express it. It's as real as anything, it's there waiting to be measured.
  6. Yeah, i agree with what you're saying. That's the same thing as I'm trying to point out. There is no physical reality, because what we imagine and label as physical has it's reality as spiritual. Projection meaning it doesn't exist in reality, but is just a concept.

  8. This made me remember something that I was interested in previously. I was doing some research and found out that actually 0 contains everything, and 0 can be considered to be the biggest number, because it is the sum of all other numbers from negative infinity to positive infinity. Eg: If we look at the pairs -10+10 -9+9 -8+8 ... etc... Zero sum game. Btw, if you're interested in Mathematics, look into fibonacci sequence and see how relevant of a model it is for noticing patterns in nature. God must be into Maths, consciously or subconsciously.
  9. Triggered As Leo said, in maths units are very important. 1 cat + 1 cat = 2 cats. Yes you know what a cat is - that annoying creature clawing on your curtains. 1 cat + 1 cat = 124124 bajillion atoms is also correct, but that's because we are using a different unit on the other side of the equation. it's like saying 1x + 1x = 4y. The coefficients are 1, 1 and 4, but the objects being added and the resulting object are different. This doesn't mean that 1+1 = 4, it means that x and y are different or 0. If 1 + 1 = 1, then after you add 1 cat to another cat, you will have 1 cat. Does it work?
  10. Recently I've been contemplating the difference between so called "physical", "mental" and spiritual and I believe them to be the same. Not 3 and not 2. It sounds pretty basic, but if we equate them, then that is the only way people who say "everybody is enlightened" can be riight. Because you don't need to know anything "special" to know your true nature, because knowing it as the so called "physical" or "mental" is the same as knowing it as your true nature, just with different seasoning. I don't know if I make sense. But just to add, whenever I am physically awake and not tired, I feel much more at peace and happy than otherwise.

  14. We are looking for happiness. They say happiness is found with Enlightenment. They also say Enlightenment is the dropping of the self. Simple and obvious question then would be: Who is happy, who is enlightened if there is no self? Perhaps there is a self after all.
  15. Is it? The definition of illusion i think is something that appears to be there, but actually isn't. Perhaps ego is an illusion. Would we say: "The mirage is there, so it's not a mistake?" Perhaps we need to move closer and see. It appears to be there, but let's investigate how real it is.

  19. What peoole call no self is the experience within awareness in which there is no identification with any object. Their true and only identity then is revealed - awareness. It means before there were two Yous - Me, the object and my awareness, and after the object me dissolves, which is a thought object, there is only one self, not two, the meaning of Nonduality. That self happens to be empty, so you can interpret it as being 0 selves, but imo that is a mistake.
  20. My experience is telling me that I am awareness. I'm saying that awareness cannot cease to be, so a state of no self is impossible. If there is experience that is not within awareness, then it is not known and then it's like it never happened. Like the question: "Does a falling tree make a sound if there is noone around to hear it". What I'm saying is that the self is not an object, but it is the field in which experience happens. The empty space in which experience happens, without which there can be no experience, let alone happiness. Just like you cannot add water to a cup, if the space is not there to allow it.
