  1. Today, I ate a lot of chocolate cookies 🍪 and then went to sleep 😴. After waking up, I had a very strange and unpleasant feeling in my stomach. I could tell it was because I hadn't eaten them in so many days, and this feeling only occurs when I do. When I used to eat junk food daily, I never noticed this feeling, as it felt normal. Something was definitely wrong. The tastier the cookie, the more harmful it probably is, as it likely contains too many harmful chemicals. God knows how it's affecting my brain, heart, and other vital organs. A great video for removing junk food addiction :
  2. I overthink too much daily and due to this, I can't focus at all. I am unconscious most of the day and when I become conscious I feel sad/angry. How can I be more conscious in my day to day life? Edit: maybe I should be very aggressive in life related to my personal development and fighting my inner demons. Edit 2 : I ruminate a lot. (i.e, sometimes I rephrase the same thoughts again and again to have better clarity). One day, I ruminated so badly and was so fed up with this that I started crying too much. Just because of my inner neurotic habits. Edit 3 : The only problem with thinking is that it takes a lot of time to process something. I am not an AI that can process a book within seconds.
  3. Current scenario (Oct 18, 2024) : Grappling with ADD. Very weak in academics. [almost Zero] 〰️〰️〰️〰️ My commitments : To be a badass in Physics, Maths & Chemistry. To study rigorously. To master B.Sc (Physics). To rank among the top 10 in an M.Sc entrance exam taken by over 10,000 students. To learn focus and time management. To implement affirmations in daily life. Deadline : March 31, 2028. I am fed up with mediocrity. I will remember this commitment. And I'll do an AMA (related to personal dev.) on this forum after achieving all of these.
  4. Nocebo effect. No it's not. Because I didn't care at all about whether it's bad or not. I just ate it. I didn't expect anything negative.
  5. Only for short periods of time (when I am relatively more conscious, for example, at night). I am gonna do my work now. You can say it's almost zero and I have to face many bad consequences due to this.
  6. Yes gym and heavy weight lifting can cause this, I just came to know this from ChatGPT.
  7. I can't tell you exactly the reasons, this is just my situation. If I were you perhaps I would be addicted. Still Some points : I don't have friends on social media. I am anonymous there. I follow only conscious/good humans. Or those who are valuable to me. I hate crap. (Sometimes I watch them.) I am not trying to get rid of any social media. I am just focused on other things (like my thoughts.... overthinking...I am addicted to unconscious overthinking.) Everyone has a different set of addictions. You cannot fight against focus. You can only change its direction. When you start doing something else, focus on social media is automatically removed. My YouTube watch history is off, so it doesn't recommend any content in my feeds. Sometimes I am not even aware that things like shorts, reels, Quora, Reddit, X, etc. exist.
  8. Same with sex/masturbation. When u run out of semen.
  9. I have Instagram in my phone but I use it for 5-10 minutes maximum. (Per day). I never watch reels. No yt shorts. ... I have accounts on Reddit, Quora, X, etc. But I m not addicted at all. I do have social media addiction sometimes but my addictions are momentary. @Ayham

  11. Were you able to find what caused this?
  12. Essentially, the mind chooses the path of least resistance, requiring less energy. It also tends to believe something is true simply because it wants it to be, even if it isn't. Nutshell : It avoids pain and seeks pleasure. It tries to survive.
  13. But Leo says that it's a construct too. Even physical objects are constructed by our mind. (Btw, I am not conscious of it.)
  14. Sometimes I eat coconut sweets... 🥥 But after too much of them...body says "NO".
