carbon-steel or cast-iron. if you treat them with care and properly use them, they last forever. full-ceramic pans are also great. thats the ones im mostly using.

i think the color looks worse because of the other clothes. if you match these shoes with pastelcolor/lighter clothes, it would fit better.
