I started this thread for discussing about the violence and torchure in the porn industry. I have lack of knowledge too that exactly what happens there. I didn't start this thread for discussing whether porn is good or bad, moral or immoral. It's very debatable. I don't want to go into that mess. I have no problem with porn. I watch a lot of soft porn, never in my life did I watch a single "hard" or violent porn. Porn is good or bad depends upon the situation. If the performers' human rights are violated, then it's a crime. If they are okay, then what's the problem? But the reality is that almost all of them are not okay (as far as I have read on Quora and watched on YouTube, I maybe wrong). If porn is already there and I get strong biological urges, why wouldn't I watch them? Intellectuals have said that prostitution/selling sex is bad. I thought they should be correct. But I couldn't prove it to myself, and couldn't completely grasp it, that's why I haven't integrated it in my philosophy yet. I have so much to understand.
