Hi MarioGabrielJ, I like how you keep on exercising reason to probe Truth and Reality. Here is the problem with the premise as it is formed - which explains why the logic leads NOWHERE! " ...One classic theory about existence is that there is some kind of origin..." The problem is how we tend to understand and define the word ORIGIN. When we use the term 'origin' in mundane (secularly) terms is one thing, and that is were and when the meaning of the word 'origin is programmed in our memory. We human experience 'Origin' relative to SPACETIME. So 'origin' is either associated in space (i.e. Country of origin) or in Time. When we inquire about the metaphysical origin of the Universe, or the Soul, or other fundamental form of ORIGIN - We naturally think in terms of Time, as in going back in Time until we reach the "Beginning", the alpha-moment, the first instant in Time. The problem with this line of inquiry is that we are looking at the 'point-of-origin' from within Time. That is why we come to the inevitable question "...well if THAT is the Origin; WHAT was before that?" Observe how this question is dependent on a Time-perspective. In other words, only from within Time, one can see the landscape, where this question (WHAT was before that?) has a place and therefore makes sense. But if you DO find the True-Meaning of an ultimate ORIGIN - that very same question stops making sense - BECAUSE the ORIGIN is something That does NOT exist within Time BUT beyond Time. The ORIGIN is without Beginning or End - it never started and will never end. That is fundamental to WHAT the ORIGIN MUST BE. Nothing WITHIN Spacetime can be the SOURCE and ORIGIN of Spacetime itself, or of any fundamental existence, or of the True-Self that YOU are.

"Taking care of someone in need" is an action that can be within "ALTRUISM" "...Payment ...money ...free rent ..." those are words and a vocabulary of "BUSINESS". Did he talk "Business" before helping you or at the beginning when he started helping you? If he waited to tell you his intentions were not ALTRUISTIC - but BUSINESS oriented - only AFTER "helping you". Then his intentions falls within a type of manipulation via guilt - which is a fundamental behavior of narcisstic-personalities (mental-dysfunction). I believe in a court in any country he would be found groundless unless he had an agreement with you that you would PAY in some form for his help. I think there is a lot of good advices in this thread. You are dealing with your sense of guilt - which involves what we use to call our 'conscience' - which only YOU can answer. However beware Guilt is not a good-master and you DO NOT want to be found Its slave. If this person wants a BUSINESS relation - Keep it that way - don't let Guilt control you. Business is business. If he manipulated you into a "DEBT" he should not be rewarded - in my opinion - for his behavior.

Countries that are less divided do not look at the Government the same way as those that are more divided. When the citizens turn a party into a cult-like organization then you institute division. When the citizens look at their party as servants of a Government - which is an organization design to run the country - looking at the Government body more as a machine (for lack of a better word) instead of some kind of Demi-God.

That is a good question. I don't think the answer is simple. For one thing politics in the US are more ego-energized. maybe this is because as a democracy it is struggling (as Talinn pointed out "When you have large amounts of people it is a little harder to maintain a democracy.") In one Ranking of Countries by Quality of Democracy the US is ranked 36th and is classified as a "Deficient Democracy". All the countries in your list rank better and all are classified as a "Working Democracy". I think that a Deficient Democracy would indicate that a minority has a lot of control over the Nation. That is because this Conservative Party has become an extreme of an extreme of an extreme. The question become "How could a nation elect democratically such a man and raise such a party in power?" I have spent more than half my life living in the US - and I also lived in other cultures and country and paid attention to them. Half my relatives live in Europe... So here is my take on the so called Left and Right positions in the US. First I must clarify that this is a GENERALIZATION. In the mind of most voters there is a concept of what consist the Left and the Right WITH a RANGE in between. The half-way point being in the middle. If you compare where this MIDDLE-Point falls in the mind of Americans and compare it to lets say the French, or the Swedes, and many other cultures - it DIFFERS. In other words the Middle between Left and Right is not consistent from culture to culture. And this shifting point also occurs over Time. Therefore in theory the Middle between Left and Right should be different in America in the 1930's versus today. Shifting the MIDDLE point also means shifting the Left and Right side. So generally speaking the MIDDLE between Left and Right in the US is more to the Right in France and many other cultures. What Americans in general consider extreme Left - in many other cultures it is considered more 'Center-Left' and not extreme. Also what Americans may consider Center-Right in some other cultures it is viewed as Extreme-Right. Such an analysis become interesting when we consider how this Shift unfolds as a civilization advances. As a Nation evolve the Middle-point between Left and Right naturally shift towards the Left. Again this is a GENERALIZATION without details.

I also have this understanding - that "everything is synchronized". I see our perspective on Synchronicity as a product of our specific human perspective. If we flip this perspective upside down we would see the Whole which is Reality. As a Unified field everything within it MUST be synchronize - as an inherent attribute of ONENESS.

A trick about saving money... I think of the money I put in a saving account every month the same as the money I pay my bills and my mortgage. I mean in the sense of 'obligation' . I oblige myself to pay my bills, always have - but I could never save money until I decided to treat my saving account the same as all the other places my money goes every month. I just have to put "something" every month in my saving account - just like if it was a debt I am paying off.

What you describe here is in alignment with ACIM (A Course in Miracles). I don't know Joseph Rodrigues / Neville Goddard's - maybe their teachings derive from ACIM. ACIM is about a STEEP Spiritual evolution. At the base of the teachings is the understanding that True-LOVE - the LOVE which is GOD is opposed in this World. Fear among other emotions is an expression of that opposition. As a soul or Spirit in this World we experience in countless forms the lack of Love. This experience of separation from the LOVE and PEACE which is GOD is not accidental, and for this experience to be engendered and extended in Time, SOMETHING has to produce and support it. That SOMETHING is what ACIM explains as a 'Thought-System' that has been established when the state of separation was willed. ACIM also specifically calls this the Ego's Thought-System. As a soul and as a human being we are very familiar with this Thought-System - HOWEVER we also have access to another Thought-System which is completely different than the Ego's Thought-System. This other Thought-System function is to AWAKEN the Soul to Truth, in other words to bring back the soul to its original State which is LOVE. The bulk of ACIM Curriculum is to teach how to differentiate between these two Thought-Systems. And on one hand - to learn how to become disentangled and free from the Ego's Thought-System - while on the other- how to follow and be Guided by what ACIM calls the 'Holy Spirit' - which is the catalyst-agent and a Thought-System mediating the process of the soul returning Home.

ABSOLUTLY it is not because we experience ourselves as separate INDIVIDUALS that it means that we are separate INDIVIDUALS. The LEVEL where we experience ourselves as separate INDIVIDUALS is closer to the foundation of MAYA - the Great Illusion. The LEVEL where we experience ourselves as ONE BEING - ONENESS without any separation is closer to REALITY and Truth. SUICIDE inevitably affects others - as we are doing this journey TOGETHER - we 'create' this experience TOGETHER.
