We are also getting to a point that we don’t need poor/stupid people anymore. Society still needs them as they are the consumers but with the rising of AI we don’t need consumers nor slave wage people anymore.

Poverty is a state of mind which materializes and keeps you there. So you can have enough money or be rich and still be a poor man. I think we all have this mindset to some degree and there is wisdom to be gained from this paradigm just like any paradigm that one can be stuck in. Being a fool or a poor man is actually not something bad. It is a gateway. The archetype of the fool should not be demonized as Jung or Erasmus teaches us.
